GREENVILLE - William Roy Waller, 62, a resident of Greenville, died Monday, Dec. 6, 2004 in a Montgomery hospital.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 9 from the chapel of Harrison Funeral Home with the Rev. David Autrey officiating.
Interment will follow in the Liberty Baptist Church cemetery with Harrison Funeral Home directing.

GEORGIANA - Cora Lee Ammons, 86, a resident of Georgiana, died Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2004.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 10, 2004, from the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Hubert Brown officiating.
Burial followed in Mount Olive East Cemetery with Johnson Funeral Home of Georgiana directing.
Randy Cobb
COBB, GORDON RANDALL, 45, died unexpectedly on February 7, 2005, at his home in Millbrook, AL. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 10, 2005, at 1:00 p.m., from the Chapel of Prattville Memorial, with Reverend Ron Thrower officiating. Burial will follow in Prattville Memory Gardens with Prattville Memorial Chapel directing. Mr. Cobb was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Willie Nita Hamm Allen. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Marjorie Ann Allen Cobb; two sons, Jeremy Randall Cobb and Joshua Rivers Faulk; three daughters, Jessica Ann Cobb, Jenna Leigh-Ann Cobb, and Amanda Michelle Ellis Cobb; two grandsons, Taylor Austin Cobb and Hayden Randall Cobb, all of Millbrook, AL; his parents Helen and Gordon Cobb; two sisters, Gaye Shipp and Cindy Tatum, all of Evergreen, AL; three brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Wayne and Mary Ann Swift of Meridian, MS, Victor and Kay Swift of Selma, AL, Andy and Barbara Allen of Selma, AL; one father-in-law, Andrew Allen of Selma, AL; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephew, aunts, uncles, and numerous friends. Active pallbearers will be Jay Faulk, Jody Marrow, Victor Swift, Andy Allen, Timmy Hatfield, Dewayne Bowden, Drew Allen, and Jason Osborne. The family will receive friends at Prattville Memorial Chapel one hour prior to his service.

J.C. Phifer Sr. died on Saturday, December 16, 2007 at Crowne Health Care in Greenville. Funeral Services were held on Saturday, December 22, 2007 at 11 a.m. from St. Francis Baptist Church with the Rev. Robert Lewis officiating and Hudson Funeral Service directing.
Mr. Phifer is survived by his wife, Mary Phifer; seven children, Alma Mayes, Annie (Johnny) Hamilton, Bertha (Robert) Hawkins, JC. CANNON, Sarah A. “Barbara,” 81, a native of Georgia and long-time resident of Prattville, AL, died peacefully on Sunday, July 2, 2006, at a Montgomery hospital. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 5, 2006, at 3:00 p.m., from the Chapel of Prattville Memorial, with Reverend John Johnston officiating. Burial will follow in Prattville Memory Gardens, with Prattville Memorial directing. Mrs. Cannon was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who gave generously of her time and talent to her church and area civic organizations. She was an Administrator of the Selective Service Board; an active leader in the Girl Scouts of America; President of the Prattville Service League; President of Askesis Study Club; and a Sunday School Teacher at First Baptist Church in Prattville. She also loved bridge and participated with her dearest friends in a number of bridge clubs over the years. She is survived by her beloved spouse of 64 years, Buford M. Cannon; one daughter and son-in-law, Kay and Tommy Newton, all of Prattville, AL; one son, Allen Cannon, Cabo San Lucas, Mexico; three grandchildren, Robb (Kim) Newton, Montgomery, AL, George (Sybil) Newton, Birmingham, AL, and Sarah Newton (Zack) Barker, Birmingham, AL; five great-grandchildren. Will Newton, Adair Abbott, Richard Abbott, Ross Abbott, and William Abbott; one sister, Sue Allen Bush, Corpus Christi, TX, and many beloved nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to The First Baptist Church, 138 South Washington Street, Prattville, AL 36067, or to the Children’s Center of Montgomery, 310 North Madison Terrace, Montgomery, AL 36107. The family will receive friends at New Ebenezer Baptist Church of Highland Home, Ala., on Friday October 12, 2012, from 12:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. at the church following the visitation with Rev. Jason Beiler officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing. Burial will follow in the church’s cemetery. Mr. Thomas was preceded in death by his wife Judy Owens Thomas and parents Theo and Exa Thomas. He is survived by his children: Veronica Jill (Trent) Brown of Highland Home, Ala., Jay Thomas of Opp, Ala., James Kendrick (Jennifer) Thomas of Millbrook, Ala., Jennifer (Darrell) Morris of Highland Home, Ala., Shaun Randall (Alana) Owens of Ft. Meyers, Fla., Veronica Faye Owens of Highland Home, Ala., and 11 grandchildren. Leland B. Cobb, 62, of Greenville, died Sunday, Jan. 13, 2008.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2008 from the chapel of Harrison Funeral Home with the Rev. Blu Braden and the Rev. Kendrick Kelley officiating.
Interment will follow in the Centenary Cemetery with Harrison Funeral Home directing.
He is survived by his wife, Stella Cobb, Greenville; son, Christopher Leland Cobb, Greenville; two sisters, Winkie Brooks and Shelia Payne; one brother, Curtis Cobb, all of Greenville; several nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews.
Mr. Cobb was preceded in death by a sister, Sharon Moon and three brothers.
