BOGGAN, William “Buddy” O’Neal, 74, a resident of Millbrook, AL, died on Friday, March 24, 2006, at a Montgomery hospital. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 27, 2006, at 11:00 a.m., from the Chapel of Prattville Memorial, with Pastor Donald Nixon officiating. Burial will follow in Prattville Memory Gardens, with Prattville Memorial Chapel directing. Mr. Boggan honorably served his country as a Veteran of the United States Army during the Korean War. He is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Dorothy Smith Boggan; one daughter, Brenda Maxine Brugh, both of Millbrook, AL; five sisters, Ola Mae (Fred) Pouncy, Wetumpka, AL, Janell (Earl) Adams, Hope Hull, AL, Avis (Preston) Reeves, Prattville, AL, Barbara Causey, Montgomery, AL, and Jewell Bodiford, Dothan, AL; one brother, Eugene Boggan, Elmore, AL; brother-in-law, James (Shirley) Smith, Prattville, AL; mother-in-law, Rosa B. Thompson, Prattville, AL; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Pallbearers will be Freddie Pouncy, Greg Pouncy, Harry Burgamy, Phillip Nixon, Cody Burgamy, and James Smith. The family will receive friends at Prattville Memorial Chapel on Sunday afternoon from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m.

William Boettcher
BOETTCHER, Maj. William Patrick, 38, of Montgomery, passed away on Thursday, September 27, 2007. He was born in Buffalo, New York on April 17, 1969, the son of Albert and Rosemary (Reedy) Boettcher. Maj. William P. Boettcher arrived at Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama as the Deputy Director of Mission Support for the Air Command and Staff College on 30 June 2007. Maj. Boettcher assumed the rank of Major on 1 July 2007. As the Deputy Director of Mission Support, he was responsible for the in-processing of more than 500 personnel and their administrative needs in just the short time he served ACSC. His military decorations included: The Meritorious Service Medal with one oak leaf cluster, The Air Force Commendation Medal with two oak leaf clusters, the Army Achievement Medal, and the Air Force Achievement medal with two oak leaf clusters. He came to ACSC from the position as an Executive AFROTC Instructor in Syracuse, New York. He was commissioned on 13 Dec. 1997 after graduating from Florida State University with a BA in Criminology. He was three classes from completing his MBA from Phoenix University Online at the time of his passing. Major Boettcher also had served in the enlisted ranks for six years as a Security Forces specialist.
He is survived by his wife, Stacey (Scheuer) Boettcher and two daughters, Heidi and Hannah; parents, Albert and Rosemary Boettcher; three brothers, Joseph Boettcher and his wife Audrey, John Boettcher and his wife Erika, and James Boettcher; his father-in-law, Duane Scheuer; his sister-in-law, Carey Gattie and her husband Justin; two nieces, Gabriella Boettcher and Claire Boettcher; a nephew, Kennedy Boettcher, and many aunts and uncles. Bill was an avid golfer who loved the Yankees no matter what happened at the end of the season. He will be missed by all.
A Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 2, 2007, at 2 pm, from Chapel II on Maxwell Air Force Base, Montgomery, AL. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests memorials be sent to the Air Force Aid Society or Hospice of Western New York in memory of Major William P. Boettcher.

GREENVILLE - Mr. Desmond Earl Grace, of Greenville, died Friday, May 23, 2005.

He is survived by his mother, Mary A. Grace; his father, Joe L. Robins, one daughter, Selena Briana Cook; brothers, Joe Grace, Douglas (Brenda) Harris, Bobby Powell, Steve (Ethel) Powell, William (Adrian) Harris, Ronald D. Robinson and Trampus Powell; three sisters, Hazel, Mary J. Robinson and Lydeisdra Loveless; 11 aunts, three uncles; one great uncle and a host of other relatives and friends.

She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Peggy and Michael Davis, Montgomery, AL; two grandchildren, Catherine Allison Davis, Dallas, TX, and William Collins Davis, Montgomery, AL; two sisters, Norweita Conder, Overland Park, KS, and Loveta Hudson, Searcy, AR.
