IVEY, Ovis Glynn, 74, a resident of Prattville, AL, died peacefully on Friday, March 4, 2005, at a Montgomery hospital. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, March 6, 2005, at 3:30 p.m., from the Chapel of Prattville Memorial, with Dr. Travis Coleman officiating. Burial will follow in Prattville Memory Gardens, with Prattville Memorial Chapel directing. Mr. Ivey honorably served his country with the United States Army. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Patti Lynn Taylor. He is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Naomi Womack Ivey; one daughter, Tami Shea Ruberti, both of Prattville, AL; two sons, Al Steven Ivey, Verbena, AL and Jeffery (Pamela) Ivey, Prattville, AL; seven grandchildren, Justin Ivey, Ryan Ivey, Tiffani Taylor, Bradley Taylor, Kyle Ivey, Jayme Ivey and Nicole Ruberti; and one brother, Herman Ivey, Augusta, GA. Pallbearers will be Joe Reeves, Chris Sheridan, Frank Simersky, Milton Woodfin, Matt Swofford and Lawrence Goodson. Honorary pallbearers will be Justin Ivey, Ryan Ivey, Bradley Taylor, and Kyle Ivey. The family will receive friends at Prattville Memorial Chapel on Saturday afternoon from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
Jimi Lou Ledbetter
LEDBETTER, Jimi Lou, 47, a resident of Prattville, AL, died peacefully on Friday, February 24, 2006, at UAB Medical Center in Birmingham, AL, after an extended illness. A graveside service will be held on Monday, February 27, 2006, at 1:00 p.m., from Prattville Memory Gardens, with Reverend Jim Whorton officiating, Prattville Memorial Chapel directing. Up until her illness, Jimi was a dedicated teacher for the Alabama Department of Youth Services. She is survived by her beloved spouse, Dalton Ledbetter; one daughter, Krystal Ledbetter; her parents, Cecil “Gus” and Nancy Guthrie; all of Prattville, AL; three brothers, John (Cindi) Guthrie, Prattville, AL, Billy (Candie) Guthrie, Prattville, AL, and Joe Guthrie, San Antonio, TX; one half-brother, James Gothard, Tampa, FL; one step-brother, Jimmy Gothard, Houston, TX; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends. The family will receive friends at Prattville Memorial Chapel on Sunday afternoon from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m.

JOHNSON, H. Tyrone, 66, a resident of Prattville, AL, died peacefully on Thursday, December 22, 2005, in Dothan, AL. Mr. Johnson is survived by his beloved wife, Martha Fowler Johnson, Prattville, AL; two sons, Roger (Tami) Johnson, Dothan, AL, and Randy Johnson, Montgomery, AL; three grandchildren, Blake Jones, Jarod Johnson and Cameron Johnson; one great-grandson, Mason Jones; one brother, Donald (Roselyn) Johnson, Ft. Walton, FL; father-in-law, Arthur Fowler, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Jeanette and Bill Gavin, Joanne and Gene Wright, all of Graceville, FL, Lewis and Nell Williams, Connie Holton, Red and Ruth Adkison, all of Panama City, FL; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Robert Leake
LEAKE, Robert Leland, (USAF, TSgt, Ret’d), 73, a resident of Deatsville, AL, died peacefully at home on Thursday, May 11, 2006. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2006, with full military honors, at 11:00 a.m., from Prattville Memory Gardens, with Father Philip McKenna officiating, Prattville Memorial Chapel directing. Mr. Leake honorably served his country for 20 years as a Veteran of the United States Air Force. Following his military career, he later retired from The Alabama Correctional Industries (DOC) after having served for another 20 years. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Peggy Faye Leake. He is survived by one daughter, Karen (Tony) Easterling; one son, Randy (Toni) Leake, all of Deatsville, AL; six grandchildren, Brian Easterling, Robert Easterling, Randi Leake, Daniel Swann, Aaron Swann and Randall Leake, Jr.; one great-grandchild, Blayklee Swann; three sisters, Dorothy Passanise, Katherine Vonsick, and Mary Ann Wilson, all of Louisville, KY; 28 nieces and nephews; three sisters-in-law, Pauline Keith, Prattville, AL, Beatrice Roy, and Johnnie Bell Kilpatrick, both from Deatsville, AL; and special friends, Mary Boston, Debbie Boston and James Boston. HALL, Rufus E., 81, a resident of Wetumpka, AL, died peacefully at home on Tuesday, September 14, 2004. Hall, Montgomery, AL, Roderick B. (Sharon) Hall, Punta Gorda, FL, Deborah K. (Rev. Greg) Platt, Prattville, AL, Rosanne Y. (Eddie) Stewart, Saraland, AL and John D. (Denise) Hall, Wetumpka, AL; three grandchildren he adopted, Robert Earl (Jaet) Hall, Elmore, AL, Donna M. (Joe) Wagner, Prattville, AL and Tammie D. McGlamry, Millbrook, AL; one great-grandson he adopted, Perry L. DISMUKES, Flora Ann, 86, a resident of Millbrook, AL, died peacefully at home on Tuesday, September 18, 2007. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 20, 2007, at 2:00 p.m., from the Chapel of Prattville Memorial, with Pastor John Varner officiating. Burial will follow in Brookside Memorial Gardens, with Prattville Memorial Chapel directing. Mrs. Dismukes was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her beloved spouse, James “J. J.” Dismukes, and one son-in-law, Kenny Pruett. Surviving to cherish her memories are two daughters, Janet (Bobby) Herrings, and Donna Pruett; one son, James “Monk” (Carol) Dismukes; six grandchildren, Mark (Joni) Evans, Kelly (Chris) Adams, Doug (Amanda) Dismukes, Michael (Dawn) Dismukes, Kevin (Tonya) Pruett, and Nicole Herring; seven great-grandchildren; one brother, J. Mrs. Hall was preceded in death by her husband, Graves Hall. She is survived by three daughters, Peggy (William) Lamar, Brenda Sherrill, and Rhonda (Neal) Youmans; three sons, Charles “Hut” (Betty) Hall, Joe L. (Anita) Hall, and Samuel G. (Wynona) Hall; and eight grandchildren.

He is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Donna and J.C. Little; one son, John Lee Dennis; one grandson, Dustin McKinney; three sisters, Carolyn (James “Chuck”) Franklin, Agatha Dennis, Dolly (Jerry) Dennis Collins; five brothers, Edward Dennis, Toxie (Blanche) Dennis, Cecil (Pat) Dennis, David (Faye) Dennis, and Rocky Dennis; one aunt, Gladys Miller; several nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Jackie McClung.
