Teresa DiPoala

DIPAOLA, Teresa, 85, a resident of Prattville, AL, formerly of Brooklyn, New York, died peacefully at home on Saturday, November 25, 2006. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 28, 2006, at 9:00 a.m., from the Chapel of Prattville Memorial. Mrs. DiPaola was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Giacamo Thomas DiPaola. She is survived by two daughters, Rosemary (Lowell) Warren and Linda Rivera; one son, John (Marie) DiPaola; six grandchildren, Johnny DiPaola, Melissa DiPaola, Teresa Ward, Priscilla White, Desmond Colon, and Blake Colon; three great-grandchildren; one sister, Antoinette Sutera, and one brother, Anthony DeMonico.

Robert Lee Eldridge

ELDRIDGE, Robert Lee, 72, a resident of Prattville, AL, died on Thursday, December 23, 2004, at a Montgomery hospital. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 29, 2004, at 2:00 p.m., from the Chapel of Prattville Memorial, with Reverend Paul Turner officiating. Mr. Eldridge honorably served his country with the United States Air Force as a Veteran of the Korean War. He is survived by his beloved wife, Betty Eldridge, Prattville, AL; one daughter, Rebecca Lea Eldridge, Brooklyn, NY; one son and daughter-in-law, Martin and Angel Eldridge, Wetumpka, AL; one grandchild; one sister, Joan Malone; and one brother, Billy (Virginia) Eldridge. The family will receive friends at Prattville Memorial Chapel on Tuesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.

Beverly Gjesvold

Gjesvold, Beverly Virginia, 72, a resident of Montgomery, AL, died on Tuesday, October 25, 2005, at her residence. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 28, 2005, at 11:00 a.m., from the Chapel of Prattville Memorial, with Reverend Ed Bowman officiating. Mrs. Gjesvold was preceded in death by her parents, K. D. and Anna Zoe Wilson; two brothers, Ken and Bruce Wilson. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Wayne Gjesvold; four daughters, Arlene (Frank) Mahood, Karen (Danny) Spradlin, Denise (Bo) Bishop, Lori Gjesvold; three sons, Brian (Sharron) Gjesvold, Keith (Kathy) Gjesvold, Eric (Angie) Gjesvold; fourteen grandchildren, Jason (Heather) Gjesvold, Alicia Gjesvold, Tony Bishop, Lauren Bishop, Haley Gjesvold, Wes Spradlin, Mark Spradlin, Ashley Mahood, John Mahood, Jeremy Gjesvold, Adam Gjesvold, Alex Gjesvold, Amanda Gjesvold, Joshua Gjesvold; two great-grandchildren, Jack and Carter Gjesvold; two nephews, Kenny Wilson and Michael Wilson. The family will receive friends at Prattville Memorial Chapel on Thursday evening from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m.

Louise Harrison

HARRISON, Frances Louise, 80, a resident of Elmore, AL, died peacefully on Sunday, October 3, 2004, at a local health care facility. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 6, 2004, at 11:00 a.m., from the Chapel of Prattville Memorial, with Reverend Wayne Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Prattville Memory Gardens, with Prattville Memorial Chapel directing. Mrs. Harrison retired as a physical therapist for Baptist Health Care Systems in Montgomery, AL. She was preceded in death by her beloved spouse, Lonnie Lee Harrison. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and James Armstrong, Tuscon, AZ; one son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Judy Harrison, Deatsville, AL; four grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Don Harrison, David Harrison, D. J. Harrison, Ryan Harrison, Mitchell Harrison and Donald Priester. The family will receive friends at Prattville Memorial Chapel on Tuesday evening from 6:00 until 8 p.m.

Mildred Dingman

Dingman, Mildred, 82, a resident of Millbrook, AL, died peacefully on Saturday June 10, 2006. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 13, 2006 at 3:00 p.m. from Prattville Memorial Chapel with Reverend Thomas Hill officiating. Burial will follow in Prattville Memory Gardens, Prattville Memorial Chapel directing. Mrs. Dingman was preceded in death by her husband, Neal A. Dingman, Sr. She is survived by three sons, Neal (Cathy) Dingman, Bruce (Linda) Dingman, and Jim (Miriam) Dingman, all of Millbrook, AL; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; one sister, Elizabeth Tarleton, Montgomery, AL. Pallbearers will be David Dingman, Paul Froede, Ty Hill, Ken Linna, Lee Edgar, and Mark Hatfield. The family will receive friends at Prattville Memorial Chapel on Tuesday afternoon from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m.

Bobby Donaldson

Donaldson, Bobby James, 53, a resident of Wetumpka, AL, died peacefully on Saturday, December 9, 2006, at a Montgomery hospital. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 12, 2006, at 1:00 p.m., from Chapel of Prattville Memorial. Burial will follow in Prattville Memory Gardens, with Prattville Memorial Chapel directing. He is survived by his beloved wife of 22 years, Carol Mae Donaldson, Wetumpka, AL; one step-son, Robert Woods, Montgomery, AL; two grandchildren; mother, Mary C. Ott, Millbrook, AL; four brothers, Rex, Max, William, and Earl; four sisters, Becky McCormick, Jacksonville, FL, Debbie Rensing, Jacksonville, FL, Kathy McGehee, Montgomery, AL, and Lena Ott, Millbrook, AL; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family will receive friends at Prattville Memorial Chapel on Monday evening from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m.

Julia Norris Graham

GRAHAM, Julia Noble, 94, a long-time resident of Prattville, AL, died peacefully on Wednesday, October 13, 2004, in Chesapeake, VA where she was living with her daughter and son-in-law, Virginia and Thomas Shinn. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 23, 2004, 1:00 p.m., at the First United Methodist Church with Reverend Doug Orr officiating. Burial will follow in Prattville Memory Gardens, with Prattville Memorial Chapel directing. Born in Leakesville, MS, July 16, 1910, Mrs. Graham was the daughter of a Methodist minister; married Percy A. Graham in 1933, and lived in Ellisville, MS until moving to Prattville in 1957. An active member of the First United Methodist Church of Prattville since 1957, she taught Sunday School in the senior and junior departments and was a member of the Chancel Choir. She was President of the United Methodist Women’s local chapter and District President of the United Methodist Women. In 1968, she founded the Golden Age Club, an ecumenical outreach to the community from the United Methodist Church. She taught the Wesley Bible Class and the Laura Roy Study Group, and worked and supported the United Methodist Women’s bazaars. As a member of the Press and Author Club, Montgomery Chapter, she won a statewide essay contest with “The Circuit Rider” (memories of her father’s ministry in rural Mississippi.) She was preceded in death by her husband, and eldest son, Percy A. Graham, Jr. Survivors include daughter Patricia and her husband, Dr. Glenn Ruffin of Hattiesburg, MS; daughter Virginia and her husband, Col. Thomas Shinn of Chesapeake, VA; son Charles and his wife, Ruth G. Graham of Prattville, AL; daughter-in-law, Debra L. Graham of Prattville, AL; grandchildren, Kyle and Norman Jones, Lt. Col. Thomas Shinn, Cyndy Davenport, Glover Pope, and Michelle Graham; great-grandchildren, Ginger and Zachary Davenport, Ryan and Caroline Jones. The family will receive friends at Prattville Memorial Chapel on Friday, October 22, 2004, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.

Ezell Guarracino

GUARRANCINO, Ezell Higginbotham, 79, a resident of Prattville, AL, died peacefully on Friday, June 9, 2006, after an extended illness. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 13, 2006, at twelve noon, from the Chapel of Prattville Memorial, with Reverend John Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Prattville Memory Gardens, with Prattville Memorial Chapel directing. Mrs. Guarrancino was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles Guarracino; three brothers, and one sister. She is survived by three sisters, Estell Cornelius, Cleveland, AL, Elmaria (Leon) Forrester, Prattville, AL, and Linda (Ken) Snider, Albany, GA; one brother, Perry (Lindy) Higginbotham, Lufkin, TX; and several nieces and nephews. Memorial contributions may be sent to the First Baptist Church Library Fund, 138 South Washington Street, Prattville, AL 36067. The family will receive friends at Prattville Memorial Chapel on Tuesday morning from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
