HALL, Bobby Layne, 61, a resident of Autaugaville, AL, died peacefully at home on Sunday, October 1, 2006, after an extended illness.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 3, 2006, at 11:00 a.m., from the Chapel of Prattville Memorial, with Reverend Bobby Hicks officiating.
Burial will follow in Indian Grave Cemetery, Billingsley, AL, with Prattville Memorial Chapel directing.
Mr. Hall is survived by his beloved wife, Ann Hall; one son, Bobby (Joy) Hall; one daughter, Marsha Fleming; seven grandchildren, Chandler Fleming, Kelly Fleming, Kimberly Fleming, Alex Hall, Hunter Hall, Nick Hall and Haley Hall; three sisters, Shirley (Wayne) Smith, Linda (James) Whitlow; Rhonda (Jack) Coltrain; and three brothers, Jimmy (Debbie) Hall, Mike (Tammy) Hall; and Ronald Hall.
The family will receive friends at Prattville Memorial Chapel on Monday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.
Ann Nichols Harp
HARP, Ann Nichols, 60, a resident of Montgomery, AL, died peacefully at home on Wednesday, February 2, 2005, after an extended illness.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 4, 2005, at 1:00 pm., from the First United Methodist Church in Prattville, with Reverend Ed Henne and Reverend Randy Woodham officiating.
Burial will follow in Prattville Memory Gardens, with Prattville Memorial Chapel directing.
Mrs. Harp was a graduate of the University of Alabama and a retiree from the State of Alabama, Department of Mental Health.
She was preceded in death by her father, Dr. Robert Kenneth Nichols, Sr., and one nephew, Garon Galloway.
She is survived by her beloved spouse, Randy Harp, Montgomery, AL; her mother, Rowena Nichols, Prattville, AL; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Sue and Steve Burton, Prattville, AL, Elaine and Joe Cox, Pensacola, FL; one brother and sister-in-law, Dr. Robert K. “Kenny” Nichols, Jr. and Charlotte Nichols, Prattville, AL; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, K. J. and Eve Harp, Wetumpka, AL; father-in-law and mother-in-law, J. C. and Eunice Harp, Chattanooga, TN.
Pallbearers will be Ken Burton, Bob Burton, Brian Nichols, Willis Nichols, Robert Nichols, and Jeff Hoskins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to The First United Methodist Church, 100 East Fourth Street, Prattville, AL 36067.
The family will receive friends at the First United Methodist Church one hour prior to her service from 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m.
Jerry LaGear
LeGear, Jerry Arthur, 58, a resident of Prattville, AL, died peacefully at home on Sunday, March 4, 2007.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 7, 2007, at 1:00 p.m., from the Chapel of Prattville Memorial, with Reverend Bobby Hicks officiating.
Burial will follow in Prattville Memory Gardens, Prattville Memorial Chapel directing.
Mr. LeGear was preceded in death by his parents, Mary Elizabeth and Jessie Carson LeGear; two brothers, Mark Spencer and Eddie Ray LeGear; one sister, Irene Dixon; and one step-son, Danny Thrower.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Myrtle LeGear, Prattville, AL; five brothers, Roscoe (Lisa) LeGear, Prattville, AL, Teddy (Janet) LeGear, Prattville, AL, Fred (Veronica) LeGear, Deatsville, AL, Kit LeGear, Inverness, FL, and Bill Haywood, Opelika, AL; three sisters, Elsie Varner, Millbrook, AL, Patsy (Jerry) Watkins, Wetumpka, AL, and Judy (Joe) Swick, Gainesville, FL; one step-son, Terry (Amy) Thrower, Notasulga, AL; one daughter-in-law, Ann Thrower; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A special recognition is extended to Malenna Culpepper, which was my pride and joy.

Lula Harris
HARRIS, Lula Mae, 72, a resident of Montgomery, AL, died peacefully on Friday, January 11, 2008, at a Montgomery hospital. Mrs. Harris was a devoted wife, mother and loving grandmother who will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by two daughters, Pauline Burton and Linda Quates; two sisters, Louise Holman and Lanell Hudson; three brothers, Mitchell Thornton, Calvin Thornton, and Donnie Thornton; one granddaughter, Becky Lightsey; three great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren; The family will receive friends at Prattville Memorial on Sunday evening from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
Carlos Jimenez-Armenta
JIMENEZ-ARMENTA, Carlos, 28, a native of Mexico City, Mexico, and a three-year resident of Elmore, AL, died accidentally on Friday, December 3, 2004.
A Mass of Christian Burial, celebrated by Father Philip McKenna, will be held on Wednesday, December 8, 2004, at 3:00 p.m., from St. Joseph Catholic Church.
At the time of his death, Carlos was employed with Jenkins Brick Company in Montgomery, AL.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Blanca-Estela Hernandez Nuņez; one son, Carlos Jimenez-Armenta, Jr.; five brothers, Juan Jimenez, Jorge Jimenez, Alfredo Jimenez, Enrique Jimenez, and Gustavo Jimenez; one sister Leticia Jimenez; one sister-in-law, Maricela Morales; one brother-in-law, Tomas Hernandez; several cousins, including Gerardo Armenta; and several friends, including Hemildigo Jimenez.

Marie Kelley
KELLEY, Marie Owens, 85, a resident of Prattville, AL, died peacefully on Saturday, June 30, 2007, at a local hospital.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 2, 2007, at 2:00 p.m., from Camellia Baptist Church, with Reverend Glen Brock and Dr. Noel Walker officiating.
Burial will follow in Prattville Memory Gardens, with Prattville Memorial Chapel officiating.
Mrs. Kelley was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her beloved spouse, Ed Kelley; one son, Bill Kelley, and one grandson, Todd Kelley.
She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Charlotte and Jim Jones, Meridian, MS; one son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Peggy Kelley, Prattville, AL; one daughter-in-law, Janice (Harvey) Clark, Prattville, AL; eight grandchildren, Tonya (Robbie) McKee, Anne (Joe) Bishop, Barry (Dawn) Kidd, Amber (Eric) Patten, Derek Kelley, Lesa (Jamie) Stember, Eddie Kelley, and Brent Kelley; 11 great-grandchildren, Allison Kelley, Luke Cumberland, Sam Peeler, Ben Peeler, Ethan McKee, Fletcher McKee, Jeremiah McKee, Lexiann Kidd, Ella Patten, Peyton Stember, and Tyler Stember.
The family will receive friends at Prattville Memorial Chapel on Sunday afternoon from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m, and the body of Mrs. Kelley will lie-in-state at the church one-half hour prior to her service.
Stella Jones
JONES, Stella Howard, 75, a resident of Autaugaville, AL, died peacefully at home on Friday, August 10, 2007.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 17, 2007, at 11:00 a.m., from the Prattville Kingdom Hall of the Jehovah Witnesses with Brother Johnnie Howard officiating.
Mrs. Jones was a graduate of Alabama State University where she earned a BS Degree in Education.
For ten years, she was an educator in the Autauga County School System at North Highland High School before relocating to Los Angeles, CA where she continued her profession for twenty more years.
She was also honored by the Los Angeles NAACP for her educational efforts and community accomplishments.
She is survived by one son, Kenneth (Diana) Jones; one grandson, Kenneth Jones, II; one brother, William (Ernestine) Howard; several nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends.
