OATES, Josephine Fulford, 85, a long-time resident of Prattville, AL, died peacefully on Wednesday, June 8, 2005, at a local health care facility. A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 10, 2005, at 11:00 a.m., from Prattville Memory Gardens, with Reverend Jim Whorton officiating, Prattville Memorial Chapel directing. Mrs. Oates was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Perry A. Oates, Sr., and one son, Perry A. Oates, Jr. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Clara and Malcolm Chavers, Prattville, AL; six grandchildren, Lisa Chavers, Brenda (Ricky) Joiner, Glenda Barker, Perry A. (Kim) Oates, III, Kathy (Bob) Hayes, and Karla ________; seven great-grandchildren, Bobby and Caitlin Joiner, Seth and Austin Barker, Crystal and Austin Oates, and Carlie Cumbie; three brothers, Tommy Joe (Millie) Fulford, Jones, AL, Kenneth (Carolyn) Fulford, Selma, AL, and Claude (Frances) Fulford, Plantersville, AL. Donald Miller
MILLER, Donald Ray, 52, a resident of Prattville, AL, died on Thursday, August 16, 2007, at a local hospital. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 18, 2007, at 10:00 a.m., from the Chapel of Prattville Memorial, with Pastor Rick Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Sweetgum Head Cemetery in Sweetgum Head, FL. Mr. Miller honorably served his country as a Veteran of the United States Army. He was preceded in death by his father, Claude W. Miller. He is survived by one daughter, Ashley Milam; his mother, Hazel Miller; two sisters, Diane (Michael) Priest and Suzanne (Stan) Mann; three brothers, Ronnie (Diane) Miller, Mike (Valerie) Miller, and David (Angela) Miller; and several nieces and nephews. Floyd MARTIN
MARTIN, MSGT Floyd Darrell (Ret’d), a resident of Prattville, AL, died on Tuesday, February 12, 2008 at a local hospital. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 16, 2008, at 11:00 a.m., from the Chapel of Prattville Memorial. Entombment will follow in Prattville Memorial Mausoleum, with Prattville Memorial Chapel directing. Mr. Martin was born in Indiana on May 27, 1926. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who will be dearly missed. He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd V. “Abe” and Florence Martin; and one sister, Billie Tschetter. He is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Mary Coady Martin, Prattville, AL; two sons, Robert (Patricia) Martin, Montgomery, AL, Richard (Katrina) Martin, Lake Elsinore, CA; one daughter, Debbie (John) Bush, Pensacola, FL; three granddaughters, Jessica Martin, Stephanie (Ed) Owens, Deanna (Brian) Rupert; five great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Ed, Robert, Allison, and Nathan. Serving as pallbearers will be the United States Air Force Honor Guard. LUSTER, Wayne A., 66, a resident of Marbury, AL, died peacefully on Tuesday, April 10, 2007. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 13, 2007, at 2:00 p.m., at New Hope Baptist Church, with Reverend Clyde Sharber officiating. Burial will follow in the New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery, with Prattville Memorial Chapel directing. Mr. Luster was preceded in death by his parents, James and Hattie Luster; five brothers, and two sisters. He is survived by his beloved wife, Bonnie Luster, Marbury, AL; three daughters, Hope Luster, Tina Luster, both of Deatsville, AL, and Salina Luster, Marbury, AL; six grandchildren, Ashley Georgiou, Wayne Holt, Zayne Holt, Sarah Holt, Savannah Lee, and Trent Riley; one great granddaughter, Grace Jacobson; two sisters, Geraldine Smith and Peggy Thornton; and one brother, Clarence (Linda) Luster; and a host of other relatives and friends. Pallbearers will be Wayne Holt, Zayne Holt, Randy Luster, Dewayne Ross, Ian Jacobson, and Craig Luster. The family will receive friends at New Hope Baptist Church on Thursday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The body of Mr. Luster will lie-in-state at the church on Friday from 12:00 noon until 2:00 pm.
Infant Westin McNeal
McNEAL, Westin Cole, infant son of Scott and DeAnna McNeal, died at birth on Monday morning, September 27, 2004. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 30, 2004, from Prattville Memory Gardens, with Pastor Glenn Brock officiating, Prattville Memorial Chapel directing. Westin Cole is survived by his loving parents; one brother, Hayden; paternal grandparents, Joe and Ann McNeal, and maternal grandparents, Tony and Cindy Tucker. The family will receive friends at Prattville Memorial Chapel on Thursday afternoon one hour prior to his service.

LILES, Jackie Allen, 33 a resident of Prattville, AL died on Wednesday February 15, 2006 at a Montgomery Hospital. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2006 at 6:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Prattville Memorial, with Reverend Bobby Hicks and Reverend Mike Phillips officiating. He is survived by his beloved wife, Alison Bensken; one son, Toby Bensken; one sister, Terry Diane Liles; four brothers, Dennis Wayne Liles, Wesley Roy Liles Jr, Roger H. Liles and Jamie Lynn Liles, all of Prattville, AL; and numerous nephews and nieces.

McCAIN, Larry Nace, 58, a resident of Prattville, AL, died peacefully on Saturday, September 30, 2006. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 4, 2006, at 11:00 a.m., from Prattville Memory Gardens, with Pastor Larry Burke officiating, Prattville Memorial Chapel directing. Mr. McCain proudly served his country for two terms in the Vietnam War. Following his military service, he was the owner and operator of AAA Locksmith Services in Prattville, AL. He is survived by his wife of seven years, Tracey McCain, Prattville, AL; one son, Ruben (Christy) McCain, Benton, AK; one sister, Betty (Hayward) Stephens, Prattville, AL; one brother, Jim (Mary Lou) McCain, Hoover, AL; two grandchildren, Ameila Grace and Sarah Katherine McCain. LOGAN, Norma Lee, 64, a resident of Prattville, AL, died on Wednesday, February 2, 2005. At the time of her death, Mrs. Logan was an Officer with the Department of Human Resources at Maxwell Air Force Base in Montgomery, AL. She had been employed in civil service with the United States Federal Government for over 37 years. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Thomas Logan. She is survived by two sons, Timothy Logan, Prattville, AL, and Shawn (Lynn) Logan, Ozark, AL; one granddaughter, Paige Logan; three brothers, Vernon (Mary) Brewster, Abington, VA, Larry (Debbie) Brewster, Tazwell, VA, and Allen Brewster, Tazwell, VA. Lindsay; parents, D. L. and Murdis McCollum; one sister, Irene Cramer, and one brother, Robert McCollum. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Joey and Nancy Lindsay, three grandchildren, Ben, Conor and Kevin Lindsay, all of Latham, NY; two brothers and sisters-in-law, L.
