Percy M. Baggett

REPTON - Percy M. Baggett, a Repton resident, died Friday.

He was 91.

He is survived by his wife, Katie Lou Baggett of Repton; two daughters, Alva B. Ivy of Repton and Emily Baggett of Mobile; one son, Dean C. Baggett of Repton; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Springhill Methodist Church, with burial to follow in Springhill Cemetery.

Arrangements are by Cope Funeral Home in Evergreen.

Aubrey Boatwright

RANGE - Aubrey Boatwright, a native of Escambia County and resident of Range, died Sunday at his residence.

The private farm owner was 86.

He is survived by a daughter, Charlotte Hoffman of Atmore; two sons, Charles Boatwright of Robertsdale and Bobby Boatwright of Range; 12 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6 to 9 tonight at the Monroe Chapel Funeral Home.

Services will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Range Freewill Baptist Church with burial in Range Cemetery.

Howard H. Josey

EVERGREEN - Howard Hillary Josey, who had worked as a truck driver, died Thursday at a local hospital.

He was 66.

A native of Excel, Ala., Josey was a resident of Evergreen for the past several years.

Survivors include his daughter, Hydie Josey of Louisiana; and two brothers, John Josey of Frisco City, and Alvin Josey of Pensacola.

A memorial service is scheduled for 1 p.m. Monday in Mount Zion Cemetery in Excel.

Johnson Funeral Home of Monroeville is in charge of arrangements.

Dwight W. Roberts

MONROEVILLE - Dwight Wayne Roberts, who was an electrician with Southern Pine Electric Co-op for 33 years, died Friday at a Monroeville hospital.

He was 71.

A resident of Sevierville, Tenn., Roberts once resided in Evergreen.

He is survived by his wife, Virginia "Janie" Roberts of Sevierville; a son, George Wayne Roberts of Sacaton, Ariz.; two daughters, Becky Miniard of Castleberry and LeAnn Middleton of Monroeville; a brother, Bill Roberts of Portage, Ind.; a sister, Ruth Roberts of Sevierville; five grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.

Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at Johnson Funeral Home in Monroeville.

Services are set for 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with burial Thursday at Middle Creek Methodist Church Cemetery in Sevierville, Tenn.

Mary Liza Pace

ATMORE - Mary Liza Pace, a homemaker and member of Greater Mount Triumph Baptist Church in Atmore, died Feb. 19 in an Atmore hospital.

She was 90.

Mrs. Pace was a native of Conecuh and resident of Atmore for most of her life.

Survivors include two sons, M.C. Pace of Philadelphia and Willie Frank Pace of Los Angeles; one sister, Annie Crosby of Los Angeles; one brother, Johnny Longmire of Daphne; the niece who served as her caregiver, Mary L. Dailey of Atmore; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Viewing will be from 1:30 to 8:30 p.m. today at Turner Funeral Chapel in Atmore.

Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday at Greater Mount Triumph Church in Atmore with burial in Stallworth Cemetery.

Gwendolyn Coover

REPTON - Gwendolyn Watford Coover, a homemaker and member of New Hope Community Chapel in Repton, died Sunday at her home.

She was 63.

Mrs. Coover, a native of Monroe County, was a resident of Repton.

She was a charter member of Faith Chapel Assembly of God Church in Franklin, Ala.

She attended Southeastern Bible College in Lakeland, Fla.

Survivors include her husband, the Rev. J.F. "Dusty" Coover of Repton; two sons, David Brian Coover of Franklin and Jeffery Grant Coover of Birmingham; two daughters, Allison Gwen Kile of Birmingham and Wendy Felise Rigdon of Frisco City, Ala.; one brother, Woodrow Wilson Watford of Franklin; one sister, the Rev. Mary Watford Stabler of Franklin; and three grandchildren.

Services are set for 2 p.m. today at Faith Chapel Assembly of God Church in Franklin, with burial in Corinth-Deer Cemetery in Franklin.

Ila Mae Sawyer

FRISCO CITY - Ila Mae Sawyer, who had worked for Vanity Fair Mills in Monroeville, died Tuesday at an area hospital.

She was 83.

Mrs. Sawyer, a native of Conecuh County, was a resident of Frisco City and a member of Frisco City United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her son, William P. Sawyer of Montgomery; her brother, Homer Hart of Dothan, Ala.; her sister, Mary Beth Hyde of Evergreen, Ala.; and one granddaughter.

Services are set for 10 a.m. today at Frisco City United Methodist Church, with burial in Union Cemetery in Frisco City.

MILTON, Fla. - Mary A. Landon, and native of Conecuh County and a resident of Milton, died Tuesday in Pensacola.

She was 88.

Her survivors include a number of nieces and nephews.

Graveside services are set for 11 a.m. today in Cedar Creek Cemetery in Castleberry, Ala., with Cope Funeral Home in Evergreen, Ala., in charge of arrangements.
