Oliver V. Mixon
FOLEY - Oliver V. Mixon, a native of Conecuh County and a resident of Foley, died Monday, March 22, 1999.
He was 78 years old.
He is survived by his wife, Hazel Mixon of Foley; one daughter, Sylvia Perry of Montrose; four sons, Ray Mixon of Crestview, Fla., Thad Mixon of Margate, Fla., Forrest Mixon of Foley and Walter Mixon of Magnolia Springs; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
Cremation arrangements were handled by Mack Funeral Home & Crematory in Robertsdale.

Earl S. Booker
EVERGREEN - Earl Swenson Booker, a lifelong resident of Evergreen, died Tuesday.
He was 86.
Booker, a member of Lone Star Reorganized Latter Day Saints Church, had worked for the city of Monroeville and had been a farmer.
He is survived by five sons, Travis Booker, Larry Booker and Marty Booker of Monroeville, Bill Booker of Robertsdale and Johnny Booker of Evergreen; three daughters, Lois Duce of Birmingham, Melba McKenzie of Reston, Va., and Charlotte Hayes of Frisco City; three brothers, Robert Batt Booker and Melvin Booker of Evergreen, and Samuel Booker of Peterman; one sister, Bernice White of Pensacola; 18 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. today at Lone Star Reorganized Latter Day Saints Church in Pine Orchard, with burial in Lone Star Cemetery.
Johnson Funeral Home handled arrangements.

Helen Jenell Hall
Helen Jenell Hall, a member of Baggetts Chapel Church, died Wednesday in a nursing facility in Citronelle.
She was 67.
Mrs. Hall, a native of Lenox, Ala., had been a resident of Repton for most of her life.
Survivors include her mother, Velma Watson of Repton; three sons, Greg Hall of Repton, Gary Hall of Monroeville and Terry Hall of Atmore; two daughters, Brenda White of Excel, Ala., and Redetha Saucer of Goodway, Ala.; one sister, Frances Watson of Mobile; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services are set for 2 p.m. today at Johnson Funeral Home in Monroeville with burial in Baggetts Chapel Cemetery.

Dannie Mac Muzik
SILVERHILL - Dannie Mac Muzik, an Evergreen native and Silverhill resident, died Saturday.
She was 86.
She is survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Tuesday at Mack Funeral Home in Robertsdale with services to follow.
Burial will be in Silverhill Cemetery.
The Rev. Ed Lyrene will officiate.

Helen Etheredge
SALITPA, Ala. - Helen Earline Hughes Etheredge, a Conecuh County native and a Salitpa resident, died Wednesday in Jackson.
She was 86.
She was a member of River Hill Baptist Church in Salitpa.
She is survived by two sons, William K. Tidwell of Chatom and Claude Etheredge of Jackson; one daughter, Helen Rollo of Pensacola; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 tonight at Lathan Funeral Home in Jackson, with services at 10 a.m. Friday.
Burial will be in River Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Salitpa.

Carrie G. Weaver
Carrie Glasdwell Weaver, an Evergreen resident, died Monday at a hospital.
She was 96.
Mrs. Weaver is survived by two sons, William Joe Weaver of Evergreen and Charles Myron Weaver of Opp; one daughter, Evelyn Brooks of Evergreen; two sisters, Lena Mae Weaver of Cantonment, Fla., and Mamie Lane of Evergreen; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Cope Funeral Home in Evergreen.
Burial will be held at the Old Town Cemetery in Evergreen.
Arrangements are by Cope Funeral Home in Evergreen.

EVERGREEN - William Thanal Brooks, a resident of Evergreen, died Tuesday at a health care facility in Georgiana, Ala.
He was 90.
Survivors include his wife of 70 years, Tula Brooks of Evergreen; three sons, Glenn Jackson Brooks of Evergreen, James Oliver Brooks of Houston, Texas, and William Paul Brooks of Billings, Mont.; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
