Grady Lee Tanner
EVERGREEN - Grady Lee Tanner, a resident of Evergreen, died Tuesday at a local hospital.
He was 81.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Tanner of Evergreen; a son, Bob Tanner of Tuscaloosa; five stepsons, Tony Raines, Robbie Bolton and Tommy Bolton, all of Evergreen, Rus Raines of Daphne and Bill Bolton of Montgomery; a daughter, Leanne Pearson of Birmingham; a brother, Harvy Tanner of Dallas; four grandchildren; and 10 step-grandchildren.
Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at Cope Funeral Home in Evergreen.
Services are set for 10 a.m. Friday at Evergreen United Methodist Church, with burial at Magnolia Cemetery in Evergreen.

Thomas H. Landon
EVERGREEN - Thomas Howard Landon, a Conecuh County native and an Evergreen resident, died Friday at his home.
He was 76.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Bland Landon of Evergreen; two sons, Sonny Landon of Monroeville and Asa Landon of Evergreen; one daughter, Sheryl Hodge of Mobile; one sister, Reba Cockrell of Mobile; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Cope Funeral Home in Evergreen.
Burial will be in Old Town Cemetery.

William Jeffries Jr.
EVERGREEN - William Wesley Jeffries Jr., a resident of Evergreen, died Tuesday in Montgomery.
He was 73.
Survivors include a daughter, Susan Miller of Montgomery; a son, Bill Jeffries of Evergreen; and four grandchildren.
Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at Cope Funeral Home in Evergreen.
Graveside services are set for 2 p.m. Thursday at Trinity Memorial Gardens in Jackson, Ala.

Jefferson L. Moorer
EVERGEEN - Jefferson Lee "Jeff" Moorer, a high school athletics coach, died Tuesday in Pensacola.
He was 65.
Moorer, an Evergreen resident, coached in Escambia County, Fla.
He had played football at the University of Alabama.
Survivors include his wife, Beverly Bruce Moorer of Evergreen; three daughters, Martha Tidman of Pensacola, Vivian Hurd of Navarre, Fla., and Ellen Bruce Moorer of Milton, Fla.; a brother, Ebin Moorer of Evergreen; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services are set for 2 p.m. today at Cope Funeral Home in Evergreen with burial at Magnolia Cemetery.

Joel Francis Hardee
MONROEVILLE - Joel Francis Hardee, who had been self-employed, died Sunday at an area hospital.
He was 82.
Hardee, a native of Conecuh County, was a longtime Monroeville resident.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth Webster Hardee of Monroeville; one son, Scott Hardee of Gadsden; two daughters, Becky Brunson of Jackson, Ala., and Francine Wasden of Monroeville; and six grandchildren.
Graveside services are set for 2 p.m. today at Hillcrest Cemetery in Monroeville, with Johnson Funeral Home of Monroeville directing.

Allen H. Reed
CAMDEN - Allen Howell Reed, a former self-employed carpenter, died Monday in Camden. He was 99.
Reed was a former resident of Evergreen and had recently moved to Camden.
Survivors include his wife, Bessie Reed of Camden; a daughter, Edith Nell Hamil of Madison, Miss.; five sons, James Willard Reed of Huntsville, John H. Reed of Northport, Ala., Phillip W. Reed of Franklin, N.C., Oscar H. Reed of Gulf Shores and Louis S. Reed of Evergreen; 15 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
Services are set for 10 a.m. today at Cope Funeral Home in Evergreen, with burial in Holly Grove Cemetery.

Ardie C. Dewberry
BEATRICE - Ardie Calvin Dewberry, a native of Conecuh County who lived most of his life in Beatrice, died Monday at a local nursing facility.
He was 71.
Survivors include a brother, J.B. Dewberry of Georgiana, Ala.; and four sisters, Martha Covin of Beatrice, Ethel Ross of Century, Fla., Mary Raines of Evergreen, Ala., and Daisey House of Bay Minette.
Services are set for 2 p.m. today at Johnson Funeral Home in Monroeville, Ala., with burial in Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Lyeffion, Ala.
