Robert Mosley Jr., a lifelong resident of Monroe County, died Saturday at his Excel residence.
Mosley, 70, was retired from the steamship industry.
He is survived by his sister, Freda Wiggins of Excel.
Services are set for 3 p.m. today at Johnson Funeral Home, with burial at Oak Grove Assembly of God Cemetery.

Rayford Franklin Sawyer
Rayford Franklin Sawyer, 78, a native of Monroe County and resident of Monroeville, died Thursday at Monroe County Hospital.
He was a member of Zion Rest Primitive Baptist Church in Excel. Sawyer was a civil service worker with the federal government and had served in the U.S. Coast Guard.
He is survived by nephews and cousins.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Monroe Chapel Funeral Home. Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery in Frisco City. Arrangements were by Monroe Chapel Funeral Home in Monroeville.

Gussie Clausell
MONROEVILLE - Gussie Clausell, a homemaker and member of Bethel Baptist Church, died Thursday at a local health care facility. She was 86.
Mrs. Clausell was a Monroe County native and resident of Monroeville. She was a former member of her church choir.
Survivors include four sons, Frank Clausell of Milton, Fla., Wymus Clausell of Monroeville, William Clausell Jr. of New Orleans and Jimmy Clausell of Norcross, Ga.; two daughters, Dorothy Kyles of Monroeville and Mary Holloway of Detroit; one sister, Ronza Bogan of Detroit; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Services are set for 1 p.m. Wednesday at Bethel Baptist Church, with burial in the church cemetery. Jones Funeral Home of Monroeville is in charge of arrangements.

Nettie C. Davis
MONROEVILLE - Nettie C. Davis, a retired presser for Jackson Cleaners, died Friday at a local hospital at the age of 90.
Mrs. Davis, a native of Monroe County, was a resident of Monroeville and a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Survivors include two sons, James Davis Sr. of Monroeville and Alfred Salter of Mississippi; one stepson, Cecil Bradley of Washington, D.C.; one brother, Calvin Parker of Huntsville; two sisters, Lula Martin of Mexia, Ala., and Annie Laura Scott of Frisco City, Ala.; 29 grandchildren; and 41 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be at Jones Funeral Home in Monroeville from 7 to 8 tonight. Services are set for 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. Burial will be in New Chapel Cemetery in Mexia, Ala.

Reba L. Green
FRISCO CITY - Reba Lois Green, who worked as a route carrier for several newspapers, died Tuesday at her home. She was 64.
Mrs. Green, a native of Madison County, was a resident of Frisco City. She was a route carrier for both the Mobile Register and Montgomery Advertiser. She also worked in the health care profession as a sitter.
Her memberships included Brookstown Baptist Church in Baton Rouge, La., and Monroe Chapter No. 155 Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Green of Frisco City; three sons, Jesse Sober of Atlanta, and Jesse L. Stokes and Ricky R. Green, both of Frisco City; one daughter, Wanda Gayle Philyaw of Atmore, Ala.; two stepdaughters, Johnnie Josey of Hawaii and Marcella Wilson of Canoe, Ala.; four brothers, Harry Duncan, Bobby Duncan and Paul Duncan, all of Huntsville, Ala., and Johnny Duncan of Pennsylvania; five sisters, Eunice McKnight of New Mexico, Dorothy Adamson of Murfreesboro, Tenn., Kathryn Robinson of Brook Park, Ohio, Roberta Duncan of Huntsville, and Gladys Harsh of Grafton, Ohio; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 tonight at Monroe Chapel Funeral Home in Monroeville, where services are set for 10 a.m. Friday. Burial will be in Pineville Cemetery in Monroeville.

Willie James Brown
ATMORE - Willie James "J.W." Brown, a retiree of the Huxford Pole Mill, died Tuesday in an Atmore hospital. He was 75.
The Monroe County native was a longtime Atmore resident. He had also worked as a barber and was a member of Gaines Chapel AME Church in Atmore.
Survivors include his wife, Annie Ruth Brown of Atmore; three daughters, Helen McCreary of Atmore, Ida Coger and Patricia Dennis, both of Atlanta; seven sons, Miller Helton of Monroeville, Ala., Willie Brown Jr., Eugene Brown, David Brown and Paul Brown, all of Atlanta, Jimmy Brown and James Brown, both of Atmore; three sisters, Stella Jones and Ruby Watson, both of Atlanta, and Louise Ingram of Mobile; one brother, Willie Ingram of Atlanta; 28 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be from 1 to 8:30 p.m. today at Turner Funeral Home in Atmore. Services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday at Gaines Chapel AME Church in Atmore. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.

Grace Lacy
MONROEVILLE - Grace Lacy, a native of Tunnel Springs and resident of Monroeville, died Monday at a local nursing home. She was 86.
Mrs. Lacy was a member of the First Baptist Church of Monroeville.
She is survived by two sons, Jerry Lacy of Zachary, La., and Ray Lacy of Tunnel Springs; one sister, Cornelia Ramer of Tunnel Springs; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. today at Philadelphia Baptist Church in Tunnel Springs, followed by burial in the church cemetery. Johnson Funeral Home handled arrangements.
