Dorethea L. Terry
Dorethea Ledkins Terry, a native of Monroe County, Ala., who resided in Navarre, Fla., died Saturday at a hospital in Gulf Breeze, Fla. She was 73.
Mrs. Terry, a homemaker, worked at Vanity Fair Mills for several years. She was a member of Megargel Assembly of God Church, where she was active in the Women's Missions Group.
She is survived by a son, Karol Terry of Alex City, Ala.; a daughter, Jan Terry Hasenberg of Navarre, Fla.; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Services are set for 11 a.m. today at Monroe Chapel Funeral Home in Monroeville, with burial at Union Cemetery in Frisco City.

Etta V. Hamilton
FRISCO CITY - Etta V. Hamilton, a native of Frisco City, died of Friday at her home. She was 90.
She is survived by two sons, Arthur J. Smith of Burkburnett, Texas, and John K. Smith of Pensacola; one daughter, Carlyn A. Huggins of Frisco City; one brother, Frank Grimes of Mobile; one sister, Met Petty of Monroeville; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. today at Monroe Chapel Funeral Home in Monroeville. Services will be at 3 p.m. on Monday at First Baptist Church in Frisco City. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Frisco City.

Etta Mae Griffin
FRISCO CITY - Etta Mae Enzor Griffin, who worked as a seamstress with Vanity Fair Mills of Monroeville for 27 years, died Tuesday at her home. She was 78.
Mrs. Griffin, a Monroe County native, was a resident of Frisco City. She was one of the oldest members of Frisco City Holiness Church.
Survivors include her husband, Bill Griffin of Frisco City; three sons, Leon J. Enzor of Ripley, Miss., and Edward Buddy Enzor and Levon Enzor, both of Frisco City; four daughters, Elizabeth Johnston of Maroa, Ill., Florence Lambert of Miami, Lorene Chaudron of Brewton, Ala., and Wanda Fountain of Frisco City; two stepchildren, Billie Salter of Evergreen, Ala., and Diana McCoy of Milton, Fla.; one brother, Wes Sigler of Frisco City; 13 grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 this evening at Monroe Chapel Funeral Home in Monroeville, where services are set for 2 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in Union Cemetery in Frisco City.

James E. Harden
MONROEVILLE - James Earl Harden, a former gravel pit owner and operator, died Saturday at his Monroeville home. He was 70.
Harden was a native of Conecuh County.
He is survived by a stepson, Buford Kent of Lenox; a brother, Wilbur Ray Harden of Monroeville; four sisters, Laurie Salter and Vivian Falls, both of Monroeville, Shelby Jordan of Smiths, Ala., and Patricia Watson of Bermuda.; and a step-grandchild.
Graveside services are set for 2 p.m. today at Excel Cemetery in Excel.
Monroe Chapel Funeral Home in Monroeville is in charge of arrangements.

Annie Ruth Tucker
DREWRY - Annie Ruth Tucker, a former seamstress with Vanity Fair, died Friday at an area hospital. She was 62.
Mrs. Tucker, a Monroe County native, resided in the Drewry community near Monroeville. She was a member of Limestone Faulk AME Church and the Drewry Pride Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include her husband, Willie Earl Tucker; a son, Robert Hollings; three sisters, Armiller Hands of Monroeville, Fannie Kimbrough of Frisco City and Bertha Young of Mobile; two brothers, Robert Hollings and Eric Hollings, both of Monroeville; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Services are set for 2 p.m. Wednesday at Limestone Faulk AME Church, with viewing one hour prior to services. Burial will be atthe church cemetery.
Jones Funeral Home of Monroeville is in charge of arrangements.

Wilson Murphy
MONROEVILLE - Wilson Murphy, a native of McGill, died Monday at his home. He was 85.
Murphy worked as a planter in the woodlands division of St. Regis Paper Co. He was a member of Semirah Springs Freewill Baptist Church.
He is survived by three sons, Lavaun Murphy and Fred Murphy of Atmore and Donald Murphy of Monroeville; two daughters, Agnes Akers of Russellville and Eloise Brown of Monroeville; two half-brothers, Hybert Dees of Atmore and Houston Allen of Mobile; one half-sister, Sadie Baggett of Mineola; 16 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 this evening at Monroe Chapel Funeral Home in Monroeville. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery in Frisco City.

FRISCO CITY - Norborn "Nub" Stacey, a resident of Frisco City, died Monday at a local hospital. He was 78.
Stacey was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Estelle E. Stacey of Frisco City; one daughter, Rose Marie Kelly of Excel; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. today at Johnson Funeral Home Chapel, with interment in Union Cemetery in Frisco City.
