Margarett Tucker
ATMORE - Margarett Tucker, a homemaker and member of Mount Olive Baptist Church of Robinsonville, Ala., died Monday at an area hospital. She was 74.
Mrs. Tucker, a native of Wilcox County, had lived most of her life in Atmore.
Survivors include five daughters, Eloise Lambert, Anita Cooks, Margaret Ann Bradley, Evie Thomas and Lena Tucker, all of Atmore; six sons, Leo Tucker Jr. of College Park, Ga., Willie James Bufford of St. Louis, Mo., Billy Tucker of Cleveland, Ohio, Jackie L. Tucker and Henry Tucker, both of Atmore and Albert Tucker of Atlanta; her adopted son, Adrian Tucker of Atmore; 56 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be begin at 1 p.m. today at Turner Funeral Chapel in Atmore, with visitation from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Services are set for 1 p.m. Saturday at Mount Olive Baptist Church in Robinsonville, with burial in Stallworth Cemetery.

Luvita T. Wise
ATMORE - Luvita T. Wise, an Atmore homemaker, died Sunday. She was 66.
Mrs. Wise, a native of , was a member of McCullough Christian Center.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry C. Wise of Atmore; two sons, Jerry A. Wise and Jesse Wise of Jay, Fla.; three sisters, Retha Heston and Margaret Roundtree, both of Milton, Fla., and Linda Croder of Dothan; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Services are set for 2 p.m. Tuesday at McCullough Christian Center, with burial at McCullough Cemetery.
Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

Patsy Blackmon
ATMORE -Patsy Blackmon, a homemaker and member of Great Mount Triumph Baptist Church in Atmore, died Wednesday at Atmore Community Hospital. She was 96.
Mrs. Blackmon was a native of Monroe County, but had been a resident of Atmore for most of her life. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star Chapter No. 648 in Atmore.
Survivors include two daughters, Rosie M. Payne-Harrison and Tinner Blackmon, both of Atmore; three sons, Oleo Blackmon of Pensacola, Fla., and John Vince Blackmon and Frank Lee Blackmon, both of Naples, Fla.; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be from 1:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. today, with a family hour scheduled from 6 to 7 p.m. at Turner Funeral Chapel in Atmore.
Services are scheduled for 1 p. m. Monday at Greater Mount Triumph Baptist Church, with burial in the Stallworth Cemetery.

Lillie B. Reed
ATMORE - Lillie Bell Reed, who had worked as a quilter with Goodwill Manufacturing, died Saturday in Atmore. She was 78.
Mrs. Reed, a native of Repton in Monroe County, was a resident of Atmore.
Survivors include a son, Jerry Reed, a daughter, Annie King, and a sister, Macie Harrison, all of Atmore; seven grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Services took place Monday at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home in Atmore. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Lucy L. Johnson
ATMORE - Lucy Lambert Johnson, a retired business owner and child-care provider, died Friday at an Atmore hospital. She was 78.
Mrs. Johnson, who resided in Atmore, was a native of . She attended Escambia schools and was a member of Jones Street True Holiness Church in Atmore.
She is survived by her son, Richard Johnson of Moundville, Ala.; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 1 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at Turner Funeral Chapel in Atmore. Viewing will be Tuesday at Jones Street True Holiness Church in Atmore from 1 p.m. until services begin at 2 p.m., with burial at Stallworth Cemetery.
Turner Funeral Chapel of Atmore is handling arrangements.

Clarence W. Dorriety
ATMORE - Clarence Winston "Pete" Dorriety, a native of and resident of Atmore, died Monday in Mobile. He was 65.
Survivors include his mother, Luverne P. Dorriety of Atmore; three brothers, John Dorriety and Hurston Dorriety, both of Atmore, and Roy Dorriety of Biloxi; and a sister, Dorothy Dorriety of Atmore.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home in Atmore, with burial in Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

Nellie Van Bryant
ATMORE - Nellie Van Bryant, a member of Christ Temple EPC Church, died Tuesday. She was 60.
Mrs. Bryant was a native of Linden, Ala. She had lived in Atmore for the past 43 years.
Survivors include five daughters, Dorothy B. Johnson and Jacqueline V. Bryant, both of Houston, Angela Tabb, Janice Bryant and Van Lisa Bryant, all of Atmore; four sons, Ronnie L. Bryant of Bryan, Texas, Charles E. Bryant of Worms, Germany, Kenneth R. Byrant and Marlon Stallworth Bryant, both of Atlanta; three sisters, Lois Lawson of Detroit, Eva Burrows of Gautier, Miss., and Bertha Denis of Portland, Ore.; four brothers, Roosevelt Stallworth, Bennie Stallworth and Issac Stallworth, all of Moss Point, Miss., and Cemarian Stallworth of Gautier; and 10 grandchildren.
Viewing will be from 1 to 8:30 p.m. today, with visitation from 7 to 8 p.m., at Turner Funeral Chapel in Atmore. Services are set for 11 a.m. Saturday at Greater Mount Triumph Baptist Church, with viewing one hour prior to services. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
