Dr. Ed Minor, Jr.
Graveside services for Dr. Ed Minor, Jr., 78, Clanton, will be held on Friday, Oct. 22, 1999, at 2 p.m. at Martin Memorial Cemetery in Clanton, with Rev. Jeff Hughes officiating and Martin Funeral Home directing.
Minor was born on Aug. 21, 1921, in Chilton County, the son of the late Ed and Charlotte Elizabeth Minor. He was a veterinarian. He died at Shelby Ridge Nursing Home in Alabaster on Oct. 20, 1999.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Seymour Minor, Clanton; one son, Kenneth E. Minor, Birmingham; and one daughter, Sharon M. Dinoff, Alpharetta, Ga.
Billie Sue Averett Jones

Pierce was born on July 26, 1973, in Jefferson County, the son of John William Pierce and the late Johnnie Gail Pierce. He was an electrician. He died on Oct. 20, 1999 in Calera.
Survivors include his father, John William Pierce, Jemison; one brother, Mark Pierce, Jemison; and several aunts and uncles.
