Jane Taylor Broome
Funeral services for Jane Taylor Broome, 63, Verbena, were held on Monday, Nov. 8, 1999, at Little Chapel Funeral Home in Ft. Walton, Fla., with Rev. Terry Smith officiating.
Burial followed at Wright Community Cemetery in Ft. Walton, with Martin Funeral Home directing.
Broome was born on July 15, 1936, in Florida, the daughter of the late Richard and Lorene Bryant Taylor. She was a bookkeeper. She died on Nov. 5, 1999, at her residence.
Survivors include one husband, William L. Broome, Verbena; one brother, Gene Taylor, Ft. Walton, Fla.; one sister, Vera Hibbs, Verbena; and one aunt, Laurece Madden, Niceville, Fla.

Ezra Voncille McCullough
Funeral services for Ezra Voncille McCullough, 67, Thorsby, will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 9, 1999, at 2 p.m. at Milton Baptist Church in Milton, with Rev. Ricky Patterson officiating.
Burial will be at Weaver Cemetery in the Bethel Community, with Martin Funeral Home directing.
McCullough was born on April 20, 1932, in Autauga County, the daughter of the late John Ezra and Nora Colee. She was a homemaker. She died on Nov. 7, 1999, at her residence.
Survivors include her husband, William Harrell McCullough, Thorsby; one son, William Herrell McCullough, Jr., Thorsby; two brothers, Calbert William Colee, Jones, and Leland Alexander Colee, Gold River, Calif.; two sisters, Virginia Nell Colee, Selma, and Flora Jean Pickering, Plantersville; 11 nieces; 10 nephews; and several great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one son, William Jesse McCullough; her parents, John Ezra and Nora Colee; one sister, Mautis Colee Donavan; and one brother, Clifton Kelley Colee.

Clifton Cleckler
Funeral services for Clifton Cleckler, 77, Thorsby, were held on Nov. 8, 1999, at New Cedron Baptist Church, with Rev. Lyn Rowe and Rev. Randy Gothard.
Burial followed at New Cedron Baptist Church Cemetery in Billingsley, with Martin Funeral Home directing.
Cleckler was born on Oct. 6, 1922, in Chilton County, the son of John and Mary Ann Cleckler. He was a brick mason. He died on Nov. 6, 1999, at his residence.
Survivors include six sons, Robert Daniel Johnson and Ralph Edwards, both of Clanton, John Wayne Cleckler and Douglas Cleckler, both of Thorsby, Jimmy Wayne Cleckler, Maplesville, and Randall Cleckler, Jemison; three daughters, Betty Sue Owens, Lillian Faye Edwards, and Alice Faye Smitherman, all of Clanton; 17 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Leonard C. Easterling
Funeral services for Leonard C. Easterling, 88, Clanton, were held on Thursday, Nov. 11, 1999, at Martin Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. W.T. Cleckler and Rev. Charles Easterling officiating.
Burial followed at Mt. Springs Methodist Cemetery in Clanton, with Martin Funeral Home directing.
Easterling was born on July 9, 1911, in Chilton County. He died on Nov. 9, 1999, at Chilton Medical Center in Clanton.
Survivors include four sons, Everett Easterling, Cropwell, Hershell Easterling, Clanton, Royce Easterling, Gadsden, and Ray Easterling, Jacksonville, Fla.; three daughters, Glenda Mims, Clanton, Doris Coleman, Tuscaloosa, and Joyce Williamson, Buford, Ga.; one brother, Roland Easterling, Clanton; three sisters, Mildred Gore, Thorsby, and Willodean Johnson and Nell Easterling, both of Clanton; 18 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Sam Chambers
Funeral services for Sam Chambers 85, Clanton, will be held on Friday, Nov. 12, 1999, at 3 p.m. at Liberty Hill Baptist Church at 3 p.m., with Rev. Roland Davis and Rev. John Will Wyatt officiating.
Burial will follow at Liberty Hill Cemetery, with Martin Funeral Home directing.
Chambers was born on Oct. 25, 1914, in Alabama, the son of the late John W. and Alice Rebecca Chambers. He was a pipe fitter. He died on Nov. 10, 1999, at Hatley Health Care in Clanton.
Survivors include Randall Chambers, Clanton; one daughter, Micki Penton, Clanton; two brothers John W. (Jake) Chambers, Montgomery, and James L. (Luke) Chambers, Clanton; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Pauline Chambers.

James Oliver Boyd
Funeral services for James Oliver Boyd, 60, Verbena, will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 16, 1999, at 2 p.m., with Rev. Randal Mims officiating.
Burial will follow at New Harmony Baptist Cemetery in Marbury, with Martin Funeral Home directing.
Boyd was born on Oct. 20, 1939, in Alabama, the son of he late George Leonard and Idana May Boyd. He was a security guard. He died on Nov. 13, 1999, at his residence.
Survivors include one brother, Henry E. Boyd, Verbena, and one sister, Mildred Boyd Geddie, Holtville.

Joanne Scott Watts
Funeral services for Joanne Scott Watts, 64, Clanton, were held on Sunday, Nov. 14, 1999, at Martin Funeral Home Chapel in Clanton, with Rev. Ralph Brannon officiating.
Burial followed at Clanton City Cemetery, with Martin Funeral Home directing.
Watts was born on Nov. 26, 1999, in Louisiana. She died on Nov. 12, 1999, at Brookwood Medical Center in Birmingham.
Survivors include her husband, Randol Watts, Clanton; two sons, John Burke, Montgomery, and Randy Watts, Alabaster; one daughter, Mary Hollis, Pell City; and four grandchildren.
