Wallace Awbrey Bonner
FRANKLIN, Ga.
Services for Wallace Awbrey Bonner, 71, of Franklin, will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Tom Stutts and Son Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. Harold Bonner and Frank Sledge officiating. Burial will follow in the Bethany Lines Christian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 6-8 at the funeral home.
Mr. Bonner died at his home.
Survivors include his wife, Lavern Freeman Bonner of Franklin; a son, Lamar Bonner of Roanoke; a daughter, Dorothy Ann May of Roanoke; two stepchildren, Phillis Martin and Farron Wilson, both of Leant; two sisters, Virginia Jackson and Lera Pearl Bonner, both of Roanoke; two brothers, Leonard Bonner of Cullman and Gerson Bonner of Roanoke; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and three stepgrandchildren;.Mr. Bonner was born in Randolph County. He was the son of the late Joseph Whitman Bonner and Mildred Lurlene Whitman Bonner. He was retired from the maintenance department at Plant Wansley, was an Army veteran and a member of the Bethany Lines Christian Church, Roanoke. [The Anniston Star, 11-29-1998]
Chatman
TALLADEGA - Services for Dorothy Jean Kirksey Chatman, 53, of 494 Kirksey Lane, will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Kelly Springs Baptist Church with Rev. L.L. Jacobs officiating. Burial will follow in Union Spring Cemetery with Sims Funeral Home in charge.
Mrs. Chatman died Monday at Citizens Baptist Medical Center.
Survivors include her husband, Willie M. Chatman of Talladega; three daughters, Sherrell Denise McKenzie of Knoxville, Tenn., Lorika Hutchinson and Chantell Sledge, both of Talladega; her parents, John H. Storey and Ruthie M. Storey, both of Talladega; three brothers, John Kirksey, Lovell Storey and Bobby Storey, all of Talladega; four sisters, Sandra Richardson of Talladega, Diane Nobles of Montgomery, Patricia Truss of Detroit and Michelle Lynch of Fort Campbell, Ky.; and four grandchildren

Christie
Graveside services for Claude Elvin Christie Jr., 80, of 1317 Johnston Drive, will be Monday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Billy Reding officiating. Burial will follow in Forestlawn Gardens with Gray Brown-Service Mortuary & Crematory in charge.
Mr. Christie died Friday at Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include his wife, Betty J. Christie of Anniston; a daughter, Jane C. Bowman of Weaver; two grandchildren, Melissa J. Devlin and Christie D. Snyder; three great-grandchildren, Robert A. Devlin, Jennifer M. Devlin and Gregory Snyder.
Mr. Christie was a member of Alabama League of Savings Association for 25 years, Shine Zamora Temple, Masonic Lodge No. 443, First United Methodist Church and the Acker Sunday School Class. He was a veteran of World War II.

Grassinger
Services for Lillian Grassinger, 89, of Anniston will be Monday at 11 a.m. at St. Michael and All Angels Church with Rev. Dr. James Tuohy officiating. Burial will be in the Forestlawn Gardens with Gray Brown-Service Mortuary & Crematory in charge. The family will receive friends at the church an hour prior to services.
Mrs. Grassinger died Monday at Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include a daughter, Lois Grassinger of Anniston; two grandchildren, Janet Deidrick of St. Louis and Scott Schulte of DeSoto, Mo.; a nephew, Wayne Cooksey of Manning, N.D.; and a cousin, Charles Hamilton of Reseda, Ca.
Mrs. Grassinger was a member of St. Michael and All Angels Church and was a native of Bellville, Ill.

Graveside services for John Michael O達rien, 93, of 1716 Marguerite Avenue, was Saturday at 10 a.m. at Edgemont Cemetery with Dr. Billy L. Harris officiating and Gray Brown-Service Mortuary & Crematory was in charge.
Mr. O達rien died Friday at Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include three sons, Pat O達rien of Alabaster, Tim O達rien of Powder Springs, Ga., and John O達rien of Coral Springs, Fl.; two daughters, Erin O. Arsenault of Highpoint, N.C., and Emily Kay O達rien of Birmingham; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Mr. O達rien was a resident of Anniston for 45 years and a native of Montgomery. He was a veteran of World War II and was retired from Alabama Gas Corporation.

Services for Edward L. Turner, 75, of 775 Old Downing Mill Road, will be today at 3:30 p.m. at Miller Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wayne Eden officiating. Burial will follow in Harmony Baptist Cemetery.
Mr. Turner died Friday at Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include a daughter, Carol Warren of Bynum; a son, Randy Turner of Choccolocco; three sisters, Lucille Grantland of Ohatchee, Doris Diggs and Edith Meeks, both of Ranburne; two brothers, James E. Turner and Cecil Turner, both or Choccolocco; two grandchildren, Scotty Warren and Jason Turner.
