Jerre Joseph "JJ" Clements
Services for Jerre Joseph "JJ" Clements, 56, of 618 Shady Glen Road, Anniston, will be Tuesday 3 p.m. at Chapel Hill Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Reggie Kirk officiating. Burial will follow in the Maple Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Clements died Saturday at Stringfellow Hospital.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Sue Clements; three sons, Jerre Joseph Clements, II, Anthony B. Clements, and Aaron Barto Clements all of Anniston; five sisters, Naomi Young of Memphis, Betty Avery of Anniston, Marie Marquis of Baltimore, Babara Wood of Ohatchee and B.W. Clements of Smyrna, Tenn.; several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be nephews.
Mr. Clements was a lifelong resident of Calhoun County. He was employed at U.S. Castings and was United States Army veteran. [The Anniston Star, 11-30-1998]
Rose Marie Creed
LINEVILLE - Services for Rose Marie Creed, 68, of Lineville, will be today at 11 a.m. at Clay County Funeral Home Chapel with Bros. Roy Johnson and Richard Bledsoe officiating. Burial will follow in Campbell Church of Christ Cemetery.
Mrs. Creed died Saturday at Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include her husband, Wayne Creed; a daughter, Gina Marie Burns of Atlanta; a son, Wayne Preston Creed of Falls Church, Va.; a sister, Anna Parent of West Haven, Conn., and three grandchildren.
Pallbearers are David Pittard, Sam Bowden, Chuck Campbell, Jimmy Adamson, Roy Adamson, and Larry Buchanan.
Mrs. Creed was a native of New Haven, Connecticut, and lived in Clay County for the past twelve years. She was a retired school nurse, homemaker, and an active member of the Campbell Springs Church of Christ. [The Anniston Star, 11-30-1998]
Hazel Curlee
CALIFORNIA - Graveside services for Hazel Curlee, 75, of Fullerton, California, will be held Wednesday 1 p.m. at Clay County Memory Gardens with Rev. Mark Curlee officiating with Clay County Funeral Home in charge. The family will receive friends Tuesday night from 5 p.m. until service.
Mrs. Curlee died Friday at Terrace View Care Center, Fullerton.
Survivors include her husband, Jesse Curlee, Jr.; two sons, Tom Curlee and Stan Curlee; three grandchildren, all of Fullerton.

Fred M. Gauntt, Sr.
EASTABOGA - Graveside services for Fred M. Gauntt, Sr., 83, of Eastaboga, will be Tuesday 11 a.m. at Eastaboga Cemetery with Rev. Jeff Lyles officiating and Gray Brown-Service Mortuary and Crematory in charge. The family will receive friends tonight from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Gauntt died Sunday in Lincoln.
Survivors include his wife, Rebecca Gauntt of Eastaboga; a daughter, Carolyn G. Phillips of Eastaboga; a son, Fred M. Gauntt, Jr., of Eastaboga; a sister, Dessie Sue Wyatt of Talladega; two brothers, Don C. Gauntt of Eastaboga and Mack Gauntt, Jr., of Silver Run; three grandchildren, Michelle Irwin of Birmingham, Trey and Todd Gauntt both of Eastaboga.
Pallbearers are Tim Irwin, Trey Gauntt, Todd Gauntt, Milam McGehee, Gene Hester, and Donald Wallace. Honorary pallbearers are retired employees of Sonat, DeArmanville.
Mr. Gauntt was a World War II retired from employee from Sonat.

Mrs. Glenn died Wednesday.

Survivors include his wife, Stella H. Howton of Oxford; a son, Michael E. Howton of Oxford; a sister, Edith H. Humphrey of McCalla, Al.; a brother, Lewis Howton of Houston; two grandchildren, David Howton and Veronica Howton.

Mr. Keen died Saturday at his residence.
Survivors include his wife, Marie Dean of Talladega; two daughters, Wendy Woodfin of Florence and Diane Knodel of Lincoln; two sons, Donald Keen, Jr. of Dallas and Edmund Keen of Talladega; two sisters, Lillian Bailes of Cleveland and Milly Cross of Brunswick, Ohio; and six grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Donald Keen, Jr., Edmund Keen, Paul Woodfin, Tim Woodfin, Tom Woodfin, William Knodel, Larry Barton and Donald McKinnon. Honorary pallbearers will be the elders and deacons of Talladega Church of Christ.
