Kitty Jean Soukup of Montrose Court, Dothan, died Monday afternoon, Feb. 24, 2003, at her residence. She was 74. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 27 at Byrd Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gillis Crenshaw officiating. Burial will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Beal Cemetery in Ft. Walton Beach, Fla. Gerald Lee (Eldon) Thompson of Dothan died Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2003, at Oakview Manor in Ozark following a brief illness. He was 71. Lillie Dell Wells of Mclane Avenue, Pinckard, died Monday, Feb. 24, 2003, at Northwest Florida Community Hospital in Chipley, Fla., after an extended illness. She was 86. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 27 at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church in Pinckard.
Merle Helen Windsor of Dade City, Fla. (formerly of Ashford), died Sunday, Feb. 23 at Heritage Park Care Center in Dade City. She was 72. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. today at Ashford City Cemetery. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

David M. Earnest, a resident of Wesley Manor, died there Thursday, Feb. 20, 2003. He was 95. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Bethel Baptist Church in Bonifay, Fla., with the Rev.
