Mr. Livingston Hudgen of Dothan passed Monday, April 28, 2003, at Jackson County Convalescent Center in Graceville, Fla. He was 86. Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Levite Funeral Home of Dothan, 334-794-5036.

Gordon (Harpo) Hundley of Enterprise died Monday, April 28, 2003, at his home in Enterprise. He was 45. Funeral services will be 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 30 at Searcy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Hubert McWaters officiating. Burial will follow at Enterprise City Cemetery.

Mrs. Carmen Christine Hussey of County Road 623, Enterprise, died Sunday, April 27, 2003, at the family residence after suffering an apparent heart attack. She was 65. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 30 at Meadowlawn Cemetery with the Rev. Huey Anderson and the Rev. Billy Smith officiating.

Mrs. Marie Lynn Johnson of King Street, Newton, died Sunday, April 27, 2003 at UAB Hospital after an extended illness. She was 64. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 30 at First Assembly of God Church in Newton with the Rev. Andy Wood and the Rev. Ricky Jenkins officiating. Burial will follow at Newton City Cemetery. The body will be placed into the church one hour before service time. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to First Assembly of God Church in Newton, Ala. 36352.

Marshall Codie McCormick of Geneva passed away Sunday, Aug. 27, 2003, as the result of an automobile accident in Walton County just north of DeFuniak Springs, Fla. He was 20. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, May 1 at Bottoms Garden Chapel Funeral Home Chapel in Geneva with the Rev. Wilbur Williams and the Rev. Jack Thompson officiating. Burial will follow at Leddon Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Robert O. Norton Jr., M.D., of New York City, formerly of Louisville, died Tuesday, April 29, 2003, at Dale Medical Center. He was 82. He is survived by sister and brother-in-law, Pearl and Alto Jackson of Clio. Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Keahey Funeral Home of Clio, 334-397-4242.

Mr. James Pearson, formerly of Garden Estates, Dothan, passed away Tuesday, April 29, 2003, at Flowers Hospital in Dothan after an extended illness. He was 66. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, May 1 at Kent-Thornton-Meadows Funeral Home Chapel in Ashford. Burial will be at Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home in Ashford. At other times, the family will be at the home of Donnie and Becky Goff, 4331 Jordon Ave., Cowarts.

Ms. Cornelius B. Reed of Dothan passed away Monday, April 28, 2003, at Southeast Alabama Medical Center. She was 63. Funeral arrangements will be announced by Unity Funeral Home of Dothan, 334-792-5169.

Peter Robertson of Daleville died Tuesday, April 29, 2003, at Medical Center Enterprise. He was 51. Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Searcy Funeral Home, 334-347-2517.

Mary Lannell "Nell" Searcy of Wicksburg died Monday morning, April 28, 2003, at her residence. She was 79. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 30 at Pilgrim Home Baptist Church with the Rev. Buddy Hood officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Mrs. Searcy will be placed in the church one hour prior to service time Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wiregrass Hospice, P.O. Drawer 2127, Dothan, Ala. 36302.

Robert Carl Serball of Peters Road, Slocomb, died early Tuesday morning, April 29, 2003, at his residence. He was 71. Memorial services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 1 at First United Methodist Church of Slocomb with the Rev. Stanley Carter officiating. The family will receive friends at the church Thursday following services. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church, Slocomb.

Jerry Speller of Newton passed away late Sunday evening, April 27, 2003, at Dale Medical Center following a brief illness. He was 50. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 30 at Southern Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ed Quattlebaum and the Rev. Charles Gann officiating. Burial will follow at Newton City Cemetery.

Mr. Jerry Stephen Spooner died Sunday, April 27, 2003, at Clay County Hospital in Ashland. He was 52. Funeral services will be 9 a.m. Wednesday, April 30 in Quattlebaum Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Don Quick officiating. Graveside services will follow at 3 p.m. at Mt. Gilead Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Wicksburg with the Rev. John W. Hicks officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Clay County Hospice, P.O. Box 1270, Ashland, Ala.

Phillip "Scott" Starling of Fort Myers passed away suddenly Saturday, April 26, 2003. He was 21. Family will receive friends at a memorial gathering from 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 30 at Kiser Funeral Home, 9231 Cypress Lake Drive, Fort Myers. A service of remembrance will follow at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the "Lianne Corey Donation Account" at any SouthTrust Bank.

Jeanine Hasty Davidson of Omussee Road, Dothan, died Tuesday morning, May 6, 2003, at her home after an extended illness. She was 69. Mrs. Ruby Tucker Dewrell of Andalusia died Tuesday, May 6, 2003, at a Dothan hospital. She was 64. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, May 8 at Zion Hill Baptist Church. The body will lie in state at the church 30 minutes prior to services.

Mary Stinson Bailey of the Capps community, near Abbeville, died early Monday morning, May 5, 2003, at Ft. Gaines Nursing Home in Ft. Gaines, Ga., after an extended illness. She was 91. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 7 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Ray S. Reiley and the Rev. John W. Helton Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
