Dewey Thomas, Jerry Montgomery, Terrell Jones and Tommy Lewis will officiate. Burial will follow in Tuscaloosa Memorial Park. Visitation is tonight from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Heritage Chapel Funeral Home is directing.
She is preceded in death by her father, Isaac J. Champion, mother, Annie Lee Champion, nephew, Dennis Latham, and son, Kenneth Lynn.
Survivors include her spouse, Rev. Arlie L. Lynn, daughter, Wanda Langford (Larry), Columbus, Miss.; daughter-in-law, Bonita Lynn, sisters, Jeanie Lee Champion, Tuscaloosa; Lou Latham (Leslie), Tuscaloosa; Ruth Shaw (Loy), Millport; brother, Elvin Champion, Gordo; grandchildren, Jamey Lynn, Brandy Holmes, Barry Tilley, Gary Tilley, and great grandchild, Kathlyn Tilley.
Pallbearers will be Larry Langford, Kenneth Latham, Jamey Lynn, Barry Tilley, Gary Tilley and Wesley Wade.
Forrest Bryant Burroughs
ROMULUS - Forrest Bryant Burroughs, 82, died November 17, 2001 at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m. at New Hope Baptist Church. Rev. Marvin Park, Jr. will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation is today from 5-7 p.m. at Sunset Funeral Home. The body will lie in state for one hour 10-11 a.m. Monday at the church. Sunset Funeral Home is directing.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Clifton and Clara Burroughs.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Nell Park Burroughs, two daughters, Vicki Burroughs Maness (Tom), Thelma Burroughs Bagley (Austin), three grandchildren, Mary Beth Maness, Justin C. Bagley and Bryant A. Bagley, two sisters, Marie Thomas and Vivian Yessick.
Mr. Burroughs was a disabled veteran of WW II. He was awarded the Purple Heart and the Bronze Star. He was wounded in the invasion of the Invasion of Normandy. He fought in France and North Africa. He was in the 1st Inf. Division, 32nd Field Artillery. When he returned from the war, he opened and ran the Forrest Burroughs Grocery in Romulus for 50 years.
Pallbearers will be Justin Bagley, Bryant Bagley, Leslie Burroughs, Tommy Todd, Jimmy Yessick, Ronnie Thomas, Gary Thomas, Eddie Yessick, Joe Burroughs and Scott Gregory.
Honorary pallbearers are Sara Graham, David and Ethel Graham, Forrest Hill Masonic Lodge, Adult Men’s Sunday School Class, Deacons of New Hope Baptist Church, friends and neighbors of Romulus community, friends of Romulus Methodist and the Buhl Church of God.

John S. (Johnny) Ward

TUSCALOOSA - Erdeal K. "Kitty" Smith, 91, of 1101 Snows Mill Avenue died November 15, 2001 at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be held Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South. Rev. Joseph A. Robinson will officiate. Burial will follow in Big Sandy Cemetery. Visitation is Tuesday from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the chapel. Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South is directing.
Her husband, Alvey Newton Smith of 58 years, precedes her in death.
Survivors include her daughters, Mary Frances Smith (Colonel A. V. Smith), Gig Harbor, Washington; Martha Jean Rouse of CoCoa, Fla.; sisters, Hester F. McLure, Birmingham, Ala.; Georgie Broughton, Tuscaloosa; brother, William G. Faulkner (Jean), Tuscaloosa; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

William Robert (Bob) Thomas
GORDO - William Robert (Bob) Thomas, age 86, of 916 Pioneer Road, died November 18, 2001, at Park Manor Nursing Home in Northport. Services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James F. Posey officiating. Burial will follow in Mitchell Cemetery in Benevola with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be 6-8 tonight, at the funeral home.
Survivors include his former wife, Hazel Cantrell of Gordo; daughters, Hattie Noland (Buddy) of Carrollton and Annie Sue Moss of Gordo; sons, Robert J. Thomas of Northport and George Thomas (Mary Ann) of Addison; eight grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
Mr. Thomas was a member of Flatwood Baptist Church, a retired surveyor with Gulf States Paper and a life long resident of Pickens County.
Pallbearers will be grandsons, Gerald Noland, Mark Noland, Patrick Noland, Wayne Moss, Harold Moss and Michael Thomas.

TUSCALOOSA - Fred Michael Kramer, MD, age 77, of 1130 Germantown Road, died November 18, 2001, at Carraway Methodist Hospital in Birmingham.
Survivors include his wife, Sara D. Kramer, daughters, Michelle L. Kramer-Zolkewitz, MD (Michael), Newhope, Pa., sons, Lynn D. Kramer, MD, (LaVonne), Green wich, Conn., and David O. Kramer, Austin, Texas; sisters, Mia Frelich (Jack), Merrick, N.Y.; grandchildren, Lane and Merrin Kramer and Joshua Zolkewitz.

JASPER - John Randolph Craddock, age 64, died November 17, 2001, at Baptist Medical Center Princeton in Birmingham. A memorial service will be held 8 p.m. today, Collins-Burke Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. tonight at Collins-Burke Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. at Blue Ridge Memorial Chapel in Beckley, W. Va., on November 23 with burial in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. The body will lie in state one hour prior to services at Blue Ridge Memorial Chapel.

John Thomas Bridges
ARLINGTON - John Thomas Bridges, age 76, of 132 Power Line Road, died November 19, 2001, at J. Paul Jones Hospital in Camden. Graveside services will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, Arlington United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. J. Wilson Smack, Rev. Willie Armstrong, Rev. Joe Bates and Rev. Wilbur Majors officiating. Visitation will be 6-8 tonight at O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home in Thomasville.
Mr. Bridges was a fireman at Craig Airforce Base and served in the U.S. Navy.

LAUREL, Miss. - Leonard D. Ingram, 91, of Laurel, Miss. Died on November 20, 2001 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at Memory Chapel Funeral Home in Laurel. Burial in Sunset Gardens Cemetery in Laurel. Rev. Mike Thompson will officiate.
Mr. Ingram is Survived by two sons, Leonard A. Ingram of Tuscaloosa Ala. and Roy D. Ingram of Centreville, Ala. Daughter, Robbie (Peggy) Herrington of Laurel, Miss. Sister, Cynthia Brown of Centreville, Miss. Seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was a retired Barber. He Served in The U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a member of Glade Baptist church in Jones Co.
Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Memory Chapel Funeral Home in Laurel, Which is in charge of the arrangements.

TUSCALOOSA - James B. Holloway "J.B.", 75 of 2402 Prince Ave., died November 20, 2001 at his residence. Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Phillips Chapel Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Montgomery, Rev. Ed King and Rev. Ed Steelman officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation is tonight from 7-9 at the funeral home. The body will lie in state 30 minutes prior to service at the church. Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home, Northport is directing.
He is preceded in death by one son, Ronnie Holloway; Parents, Nason and Irene Holloway; brothers, Leslie Holloway, Curtis Holloway and Pud Holloway; one sister, Ruby Thrasher.
Survivors include his wife, Berthalene Holloway; three daughters, Loretta Skelton (James Roy), Sandra Wallace (Curtis) and Deidra Holloway; sons, Jimmy Holloway (Gail), Kenny Holloway (Deborah); sisters, Jet Holeman, Sue Hall, Tootsie Sullivan; brother, Duell Holloway; grandchildren, Michael Shelton (Andrea), Jason Mitchum, Stephanie Baxter (Jeff), Lindsey Holloway, Brittany Holloway; six step-grandchildren.
J.B. loved his family, friends and music. He devoted much of his life to sharing his music with others. Many young musicians have been inspired and nursing home residents have been blessed by his talents. Mr. Holloway was retired from GM & O Railroad and was also a member of Rosedale Baptist Church.
Pallbearers will be Jack Sullivan, David Bigham, Jackie Houston, Sean Smith, Mark Wicker, Danny Whitcomb, James Roy Rogers and Tim Skelton.
