KNOXVILLE - Rev. Willie H. Knox, 88 of Route 1, Box 74, died December 24, 2001 at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Eutaw. The Rev. Paul Calligan is pastor. The Rev. S.N. Norwood, Jr. will officiate. Burial will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery in Knoxville. Visitation is today from 12:00 noon- 5:00 p.m. at the mortuary. Family hour tonight from 6:00- 7:00 p.m. at Cedar Grove Baptist Church in Knoxville and the body will repose an hour prior to service at First Baptist with McInnis Mortuary of Eutaw entrusted with all arrangements.

COTTONDALE - Harold Kyzer, 71, died December 26, 2001 at Forest Manor Nursing Home. Services will be held Saturday at 2:00 p.m. from Cottondale Baptist Church with Rev. Dan Arsenault officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Zion Baptist Cemetery with Heritage Chapel Funeral Home directing. Visitation is tonight from 6:00- 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. The body will lie instate one hour prior to services.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers and sisters.
Survivors include his guardian niece, Hazel Pierce (John); other nieces, Carolyn Epperson (Ron), Clara Turner (Don), Betty Sellers (Gaython), Janice McCoy, Barbara Jackson and Mary Howell; many other relatives and a host of friends.
Harold was a faithful Christian who loved God, his church and fellowman. He told everyone he met "I Love You" and "Jesus is coming back."
Pallbearers will be nephews.
Honorary pallbearers are members of Cottondale Baptist Church, Dr. Delos Reyes and staff of Forest Manor Nursing Home.

BROOKWOOD – Agnes Hayes, 91, 15986 Hwy 216, died Jan. 28, 2001 at Estes North Nursing Home. Services will be held at Memory Chapel Funeral Home on Tuesday at noon with the Rev. She is preceded in death by her husband, Oal Hayes.
She is survived by her children and their spouses, Judy and Woody Smith of Cottondale, Bruce and Ann Hayes, and a special son, Brad Avery of Brookwood; grandchildren and their spouses, Lee Ann and Jackie Teat, Jill Hayes, Dell and Nickole Smith, Robert and Kim Smith, Tim and DeAnn Smith; great-grandchildren, Christopher Golden, Ashton Lee Golden, Andrew Smith, Tanner Teat, Jake Smith, Taylor Smith and Dustin Teat.
She was a member of the Brookwood United Methodist Church, and was active in the women’s WSCS.
The honorary pallbearer is the Estes North Nursing Home staff.
Dr. Robert Grover Harris
NEW VERNON - Dr. Robert Grover Harris died December 30, 2001 at his home in New Vernon, NJ following a long battle with cancer. A memorial service will be held at eleven o’clock on Wednesday at Christ Episcopal Church. Dr. Harris is survived by his wife, Amie Hale Harris, and a daughter Sara Alexandra Harris of New Vernon, NJ; his parents Robert G. and Rebekah Shamblin Harris of Tuscaloosa; two sisters and their husbands; Nancy (Harris) and Larry Perrine of Tuscaloosa, Honey (Harris) and Bob Wheeler of Destin, FL and brother Steve and his wife Kathy Harris of Birmingham. He will also be missed by a large number of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. Dr. Harris was born November 21, 1951 in Tuscaloosa, and was descended from old Tuscaloosa families. His grandparents, now deceased, were Mr. and Mrs. Ben E. Harris and Dr. and Mrs. William Grover Shamblin. Dr. Robert Grover Harris was the eleventh practitioner in a distinguished line of physicians of which his maternal Grandfather was the first. Dr. Harris graduated from Tuscaloosa High School in 1970 and then served in the United States Marine Corps. He completed pre-dental studies at The University of Alabama graduating magna cum laude in 1976. He earned a degree in dentistry from New York University in 1980 and then completed a residency in oral and maxilofacial surgery from Rutgers University and Sloan Kettering Cancer Institute. He organized and led a large dental clinic in the New York metropolitan area until his health forced his retirement. Memorials may be sent to Hospice Care or Christ Episcopal Church, or any other charity.
