She is preceded in death by her husband, Murry Walker.

WINFIELD - Maxine Estes Flippo, 86, died Friday March 1, 2002. FORKLAND - Frances Green Webster, 61, died Jan. 31, 2001, at Bryan Whitfield Hospital in Demopolis. Horace Thurman Fuller
NORTHPORT - Horace Thurman Fuller, 86, formerly of Gadsden, died on Jan. 30, 2001. Services will be held at Collier-Butler Funeral Home Chapel today at 11 a.m. with Dr. Phillip Young and the Rev. Elton Beasley officiating. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service. Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. in Elmwood Cemetery in Birmingham with the Rev. Doug Wells officiating. Collier-Butler Funeral Home is directing.
He is preceded in death by his son, David T. Fuller.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Linda Johnson Fuller; son, Mike Fuller of Green sboro; daughters-in-law, Brenda Fuller of Green sboro and Carolyn Fuller of Mobile; grandchildren, Paige Fuller of Phenix City, Denise Hoss (Shawn) of Austin, Tex., and Kimberly Sneed (Alan) of Corpus Christi, Tex.; great-grandson, Joshua Hoss of Austin, Tex.; and his sister, Lois Hadaway of Atlanta, Ga.
Mr. Fuller was a native and resident of Birmingham until 1961. He was employed with A&P Food Stores for 46 years. He transferred to Gadsden with A&P in 1961. He retired in 1976 and remained in Gadsden until health concerns made it necessary to move to be near his son. He was a member of the Bessemer Masonic Lodge and The Gadsden Shrine Club. He was also a member of First United Methodist Church of Gadsden.
Pallbearers will be Ralph Bigham Jr., Dr. David T. Fuller III, Jack Gault, Shawn Hoss, Bob Johnson, Joe Rogers Johnson and Curtis Wright.
Honorary pallbearers are Joshua Bob Hawthorne, James H. Pruett, Judge J.B. Waid, Men's Bible Class at First United Methodist Church, and all friends and former employees of A&P Food Stores.

BIRMINGHAM - Minister Kenneth Earl Cabbil, 47, formerly of Holt, died Jan. 30, 2001, at his home. Services will be at St. John A.M.E. Church in Holt on Sunday at 2 p.m. Viewing hours are today from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. at the funeral home and at the church Sunday one hour prior to service. Burial will follow in Cedar Oak Memorial Park. Professional services are provided by Van Hoose and Steele Funeral Home.
Survivors include his wife, Angela Cabbil, Birmingham; four daughters, Franchessa, LaKendall, Shyra and Lataisha; son, LaDarious; two stepsons, Tyrell and Yashica; sisters, Sherry M. (Charles) McClyde and Pamela M. (John Jr.) Nero; brothers, Lonnie (Shelia) Mack, Gary (Vicki) Whitfield, Walter and George Whitfield; mother-in-law, Lucille Adams; five sisters-in-law; three brothers-in-law; four aunts, two uncles, a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and acquaintances.
Mr. Cabbil was a graduate of Holt High School Class of 1972.

NORTHPORT - Maurine Nichols Barton Owen, 91, died March 18, 2002 at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be held at Northwood Hills Baptist Church on March 22, 2002 at 10 a.m. Reverend George Shaddix is officiating. Burial will follow in Tusacloosa Memorial Park. Visitation will be Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at Sunset Funeral Home. The body will lie in state one hour prior to service. Sunset Funeral Home is directing.
She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Velma Nichols; her husbands, George Barton and Thomas Owen; son-in-law, Pete Owens; and granddaughter, Faith Barton.
Survivors include her daughter, Carolyn (Bill) Shuman, and Tommie Linda Owen, both of Northport; step-daughter, Mary Katherine Owens, Birmingham; son, Bill (Janice) Barton, Demopolis; 8 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
Maurine Nichols Barton Owen was born in Vance, Ala in 1910, she then moved to the Holt Community as a young child where she graduated from Holt High School in 1928. She worked at Gulf States Paper for many years before moving to Northport to become the wife of a farmer and cattleman.
She was a devoted member of Northwood Hills Baptist Church where she enjoyed the worship fellowship and choir.
Maurine loved the Lord, her family, music, animals and people. She was a kind, generous, loving Christian lady who will be greatly missed!
Pallbearers will be Ken, Kevin, and Joshua Shuman, Michael Barton, Parker and Conner Adams and William Owens.
Honorary pallbearers are Members of Northwood Hills Baptist Church, Mrs. Mel Newman, Kenneth and Bert Guy, Dr. Brian Wilhite, employees of Glen Haven Nursing Home and DCH 5 North.
