Etta Oree Johnson
ALICEVILLE - Etta Oree Johnson, 74, of 604 Magnolia Lane, died Nov. 21, 2000. Services will be at West End Baptist on Friday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Mike Griffin officiating. Burial will follow in Magnolia Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Nov. 23 at the funeral home form 6-8 p.m. The body will lie in state one hour prior to service time at the church. Stabler-Robbins Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.
She is preceded in death by her husband, John Henry Johnson, and son, Buddy Johnson.
Survivors include her two daughters, Gloria "Midget" (Wayne) Jones, Enterprise, Miss., and Beth (Joe) Stewart, Aliceville, Ala.; daughter-in-law, Sandra Johnson, Aliceville, Ala.; two sons, Tommy (Judy) Johnson and Ricky (Sarah) Johnson, all of Aliceville, Ala.; two brothers, Joe (Edith) Cullum, Enterprise, Miss., and Clyde (Hazel) Cullum, Irving, Texas; 16 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Johnson was a member of West End Baptist Church for 42 years and served as President and member of the Faith Few Sunday School Class and a retired employee of Aliceville Cotton Mill after more than 22 years of service. Mrs. Oree Johnson was a loving, devoted wife, mother, mamaw and friend.
Pallbearers will be Billy Joe Reece, Charles Ashcraft, Huey Gilmore, Hugh Harris, Jim McKnight and James Kimbrell.
Honorary pallbearers are Faith Few Sunday School Class of West End Baptist Church, Pickens Co. Med. Ctr. Home Health Care Nurses and Staff, Deacons as West End Baptist Church, Evelyn Donaldson, Bessie Mansfield, Eleanor Melton, and former co-workers at Aliceville Cottonmill.
The family will accept flowers, or donations may be made to West End Baptist Church Building Fund, 130 Moblie Road, Aliceville, AL 35442.

James Edward Tilley
GORDO - James Edward "Bub" Tilley, 70, of 630 7th Court N.W., died Nov. 20, 2000, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be at the Gordo First Baptist Church today at 11 a.m. with Bro. Marc Howard and Bro. Johnye Horton officiating. Burial will follow in the Gordo City Cemetery. Visitation is 30 minutes prior to the service. Skelton Funeral Home of Reform is directing.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Vertice and Grace Tilley; and brother, Herbert Tilley.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Letha Dillard Tilley, Gordo, Ala.; daughter, Charlotte Pugh and husband, Dennis, Reform, Ala.; son, James S. Tilley and wife, Margaret, Gordo, Ala.; three grandchildren, Nikki Mullenix and husband, Jason, Justin Tilley and wife, Mystie, all of Gordo, and Kristel Pugh, Reform, Ala.; three great-grandchildren, Colby Gaddy, Devin Tilley and Cabel Mullenix, all of Gordo.
Mr. Tilley was a member of Gordo First Baptist Church and the Gordo Masonic Lodge #564.

Annelle McIlwain Bell
PASCAGOULA, Miss. - Annelle McIlwain Bell, 87, of 1203 Market Street, died Dec. 2, 2000, at Keeler Air Force Base Medical Center. Services are Monday at 1 p.m. at Stabler-Robbins Funeral Home Chapel in Aliceville. Burial will follow in Lower Cemetery in Pickensville. Visitation is Monday from 10 a.m. - noon at the funeral home chapel. Stabler-Robbins Funeral Home of Aliceville is directing.
She was the wife of the late Hunter Benjamin Bell. Pascagoula, Miss., had been her home for the past 40 years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Pascagoula. Her parents were the late Artie Rebecca and Julian Richard McIlwain of Choctaw County, Ala.
The youngest of seven siblings, Mrs. Bell was born in Gilbertown, Ala., on Sept. 30, 1913, weighing only two pounds. She overcame a fragile beginning to lead a long and happy life.
Mrs. Bell is survived by two daughters, Sally Bell Hobbs and Betty Bell Alford; three grandchildren, Lisa Garrison, David Alford and Erin Alford; two great-grandchildren, Rebekah and Chance. She is also survived by son-in-law John Alford, sister-in-law Amanda Bell Patterson, numerous nieces and nephews and their families. She was loved dearly and will be missed by all.
Johnny Lee Dubose
LIVINGSTON - Johnny Lee "Yoggie Bear" Dubose, 39, died Nov. 25, 2000. Services took place Dec. 2 at Morning Star Baptist Church in Livingston. Burial followed in the Livingston City Cemetery. McInnis Mortuary of Livingston directed.
David Michael Fanelli
TUSCALOOSA - David Michael Fanelli, 41, 1635 Teal Circle, died Nov. 29, 2000, in Zellwood, Fla. Memorial services will be at the chapel on Sunday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Mike Hall officiating. Magnolia Chapel South is in charge of arrangements.
He is preceded in death by his father, Victor Fanelli.
Survivors include his wife, Caroline Fanelli, of Tuscaloosa; daughters, Jordan M. and Anna Lee Fanelli, of Tuscaloosa; stepchildren, Key and Kayla Harwell, of Tuscaloosa; mother, Doris Nestor, of Zellwood, Fla; father and mother-in-law, Richard and Connie Key, of Clanton; brother-in-law, Tommy Key; and sister-in-law Emily Key.
Lora Belcher Findley
REFORM - Lora Belcher Findley, 82, died Dec. 2, 2000, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services are Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Donald Parker will officiate. Survivors include daughters, Betty Rodgers, of Tuscaloosa, Patricia Jackson, of Tuscaloosa, Brenda Parker, of Palmetto, and Linda Sorrow, of S.C.; sons, Carlos Belcher, of Reform, George D. Belcher, of Maylene, and Travis Q. Belcher, of Hayden; 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Findley was a member of Hebron Baptist Church, a retired seamstress at Steven's Garment Factory and a well-known resident of Pickens County.
Pallbearers will be Mark Moore, Rodger Belcher, Scott Jackson, David Belcher, Jeff Belcher and Jason Belcher.

Grady Cleophus Lowery
REFORM - Grady Cleophus Lowery, 88, 201 5th Ave. N.E., died Nov. 30, 2000, at his residence. Services will be at Reform First United Methodist Church on Monday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Alan Head officiating. Burial will follow in Hannah Cemetery. Visitation is tonight from 6-8 at the funeral home. The body will lie in state 30 minutes prior to service. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Teresa Urrea of Safford, Ariz.
Survivors include his wife, Pauline R. Lowery, Reform; son, Doug Lowery and wife, Jenny O'Quinn, Reform; sisters, Ruth Leonard, Gordo, and Rachel Vail, Northport; five grandsons, Ruben Urrea (Bridget),Tempe, Ariz., Lee Urrea (Vicky), Safford, Ariz., Steven Lowery and Scott Lowery both of Northport, and Tomas Altamirano, Safford, Ariz.; two step-grandsons, Jack Patterson and Michael Espey, Biloxi, Miss.; one great-grandson, Michael Urrea, Safford, Ariz., and a step-great-granddaughter, Miranda Chestnut, Holt.
Mr. Lowery was a member of Reform First United Methodist Church, a retired employee of Southern Natural Gas where he worked for 30 years and a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II.
Pallbearers will be Ruben Urrea, Lee Urrea, Steven Lowery, Scott Lowery, Henry Elmore and Pete Elmore.
Honorary pallbearers are retirees of Southern Natural Gas, friends and neighbors of his community.
Larry Alan Mills

He was preceded in death by his father, Rufus L. Mills.
Survivors include his wife, Deborah Smith Mills, of Tucscaloosa; daughter, Lindsay Allison Mills, of Tuscaloosa; sisters, Martha Ann Mills, of Demopolis, and Eileen Mills, of Moundville; brothers, Rufus "Buck" Mills, Jr., of Demopolis, Carl Mills, of Demopolis, and Ken Mills, of Moundville; mother, Sadie Callahan Mills, of Moundville.
Mr. Mills was an employee of Uniroyal Goodrich for 26 years. He served for eight years in the U.S. Air Force.
