MOUNDVILLE - James "Jimmy" Manley McCray, 87, 2133 City Road 52, died April 6, 2001, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be at Oakhill Chapel on Sunday at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Oda Lee Cook McCray; daughters, Debra (Larry) Hwghen; sons, James Rufus McCray and Edgar Timothy (Tim) McCray; grandchildren, Mike and Matt McCray, Janie and Jason Hwghen; great grandchild, Anna-Lise Nicole Hwghen.

Survivors are a loving wife of 60 years, Mrs. Lucille McMullen of Tuscaloosa, Ala.; two daughters, Lillie McMullen and Carol Elaine Greene (William Richard) of Tuscaloosa, Ala.; three sons, Frank McMullen Jr., Edward McMullen of Tuscaloosa, Ala., and Leotis McMullen (LuJuan) of Roanoke, Va.; two sisters, Elizabeth Kelly, Tuscaloosa, Ala., and Lillie Edwards (Albert), Holt, Ala.; one brother, James R. McMullen (Annie), Cleveland, Ohio; nieces, nephews a host of other relatives and friends.
Elder McMullen founded and Pastored The New Home Church of God in Christ from 1968 until his passing of April 3, 2001.
Memorial services were April 6, 7 p.m. at New Home Church of God in Christ.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Bessie Smelley Moore Guy; father, Joseph Guy; brothers, W.T. Moore, Hester Moore, Frank Moore and John Moore Sr.
Survivors include her nephew, J.C. Moore, Ralph, Ala.; nieces, Mrs. Dorothy Whitney, Tuscaloosa, Mrs. Beatrice Pons of Oklahoma, Mrs. Tiny Livingston, Huntsville, and Mrs. Clytee Barton of Marion; many great nieces and nephews and cousins.
She was born in Tuscaloosa County, Sept. 24, 1908. Life long member and Sunday School teacher of Rosedale Baptist Church. Retired from Tuscaloosa County Library. A Godly friend and neighbor of Rosedale Community.
Pallbearers will be B.E. Wyatt, Shirley Quimby, Thurston Townsend, Gordon Carroll, Morris Smithson and Jimmie Crawford.

Margaret Cole Watkins
NORTHPORT - Margaret Cole Watkins, 87, 12876 Northside Road, died April 22, 2001, at Northport Medical Center. Services will be at Norwood Chapel of Fayette today at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Billy Lollar Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Norwood Chapel of Fayette is directing.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Henry B. Watkins; parents, Lester and Mildred Hall Cole.
Survivors include her daughters, June Gant of Northport, Joan Shepherd of Northport, Jeanie Lollar of Northport, Wanda Cline of Foster s and Mildred Baker of Berry; two sons, Bob Watkins and Lynn Watkins both of Northport; sisters, Berlene Lollar, Berry and Hazel Francis of Birmingham; 16 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren.
Mrs. Watkins was born Jan. 10, 1914 in Fayette Co., Her parents were Lester and Mildred Hall Cole. She was a native of Berry, Ala., where she operated a country store for many years. She moved to Northside in 1961 and was a member of the Gorgas Homemakers Club, Campground Methodist UMW and the Golden Agers of Northside. Mrs. Watkins was also a Nurse for Partlow Hospital for 17 years. She was loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all her family, friends, neighbors and all who knew her.
Pallbearers will be Peter Gant, Robert Cline, Mark Cline, Jason Baker, Bill Shepherd, Julian Shepherd, Ben Baker, Chad Watkins, David Watkins and Jerry Herzig.
