Pamila Renee Burton, age 51, of Lewisville, died Wednesday, May 25, 2005 at her residence. She was born April 4, 1954 in Seminole, OK. Mrs. Burton was a member of The First United Methodist Church in Lewisville and a loyal Oklahoma Sooner fan.
She is survived by her husband, Bruce Burton of Lewisville, AR.; Two Step-Sons, Dylan Burton of Wakasa, Japan and Darrell Burton of Lewisville, AR.; Daughter, Jacey Walker of Stamps, AR.; Brother and Sister-in-law, Melvin & Alice Craig of Caddo, OK.; Sister, Jeanetta Gains of Texarkana, AR.; A Very Special Aunt, Lois Bender of Seminole,.OK; Very Special Grandson, Ethan Walker; Very Special Granddaughter, Lauren Spakes.
A Private Family Service will be held.

John Thomas Hanson, SR., age 70, of Taylor, Arkansas died Sunday May 22, 2005 at his residence. He was born December 26,1934 in Haynesville, LA. Mr. Hanson was a retired Painter Contractor, a Navy Veteran and was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Ray Hanson.
He is survived by: his Wife, Katherine Hanson of Bristow,OK.; three sons, Steven Hanson of Bossier City, LA., John Hanson, Jr. of Kempner. TX and John Glen Hanson of Shreveport, LA.; daughter, Lisa Ducote of Greenwood, LA; brother, Byron Doss Hanson of Loveland, CO.; ten grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
Private memorial services will be held at a later date.
Olie Mae Eason
Ms. Olie Mae Eason, age 43, of Lewisville, Arkansas died Wednesday, May 18, 2005 at Magnolia Hospital. She was born January 23, 1962 in Lewisville. She was a member of Gumpoint Baptist Church where she served as Sunday School teacher and secretary, president of Youth Dept., and president of the program committee.
Survivors include: her parents, John H. & Bessie L. Eason of Lewisville; two sisters, Leanner Stewart of Lewisville and Bessie Jean Eason of Dallas, TX; two brothers, John L. Eason of Stamps and John H. Eason, Jr. of Magnolia, AR; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, May 26, 2005 at Smith Chapel in Stamps with Rev. Tommy Law officiating and burial in Lakeside Cemetery in Stamps.
Gertrude Warren Alderson
Gertrude Warren Alderson, age 82, of Lewisville, Arkansas died Wednesday, May 18, 2005 at the Homestead Manor nursing Home in Stamps, Arkansas. She was born November 10, 1922 in Lafayette County, Arkansas. Mrs. Alderson was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church at Lewisville.
She is survived by: her husband, Curtis Alderson of Lewisville; one son, Warren Curtis Alderson, Jr. of San Diego, CA; three daughters, Elsie Louise Halbert of Mountain View, AR, Ethel Pauline Darleck of Port LaVaca, TX, and Hilda Rebecca Curry of Benton, LA; four sisters, Virginia Ward of Ogden, AR, Francis Beeman of Monroe, LA, Nan Clift of Texarkana, TX, and Betty Cook of Mayflower, AR; nine grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, May 21, 2005 at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Stamps with Rev. Lane Garner officiating and burial in Wilson Cemetery in Lewisville under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.
Wanda Sue Ison
Wanda Sue Ison, age 62, of Magnolia, Arkansas died Sunday, May 15, 2005 at Magnolia Hospital. She was born February 24, 1943 in Magnolia. Mrs. Ison was a homemaker and a Baptist.
She is survived by: her husband, Woodrow Ison of Magnolia; two sisters, Betty Franks of Magnolia and Lana Faye Oglesby of Indianapolis, IN; a very special child, Soraya Aydani of Magnolia; nephew, John Robert Sanner, Sr., of Emerson, AR; niece, Regina McKinnon of El Dorado, AR; great nephews, Koby McKinnon of El Dorado and John Robert Sanner, Jr., of Magnolia; great niece, Kim McKinnon of Eldorado.

Tyler Jacob Castleman
Tyler Jacob Castleman, age 22 months, of Lewisville, Arkansas passed away in his sleep on Sunday, May 15, 2005 at Arkansas Childrens Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was born June 26, 2003 in Texarkana, Texas.

Eva Mae Little
Eva Mae Little, daughter of the late Jessie Smith and Gertrude Williams was born August 15, 1914. She departed this life Wednesday, May 11, 2005 at Homestead Manor Nursing Home in Stamps, Arkansas.
She was a longtime member of the Greenville Baptist Church in Stamps where she worked diligently in helping raise funds to build the church, was a Mission Sister, and sang in the choir. Eva Mae worked for many years as a domestic worker in many homes in Stamps and Lewisville. She was preceded in death by: her grandparents, Henry and Lizzie Williams; her husband, John Little; brothers, Willie Smith, Stanley Smith and Oree Smith; and sister, Velma Harper.
Survivors include: one son, Johnnie Little of Bakersfield, CA; one granddaughter, Ebony (Reginald) Little of Grand Prairie, TX; three great grandchildren, Tycobia Shionte Williams, Reginald Dawayne Williams, Jr., and Kendarius Dawayne Williams of Grand Prairie; two sisters, Essie Gipson of Minden LA and Jessie Ree Smith of Los Angeles, CA; one brother, S.J. Smith of Los Angeles; one special sister-in-law, Rosie Smith of Cullen, LA; one she raised as her own, Robin (Jeanie) White of Magnolia, AR; one aunt, Artie Ruth Ellis of Stamps; a special great-niece, Latisha "Pampa" Harper of Garland, AR; a host of other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held at Smith Chapel with Elder Bobby Washington and Rev. James Fred Williams officiating and burial in Lakeside Cemetery in Stamps.
Robert C. Lollis
Robert C. Lollis, age 67, of Lewisville, Arkansas died Thursday, April 28, 3005 at St. Michaels Hospital in Texarkana, Texas. He was born May 13, 1937 in Gilliam, Louisiana. Mr. Lollis was a retired worker with Alford Farms in Lewisville.
He is survived by: four sons, Calvin Lollis of Lewisville, Huey Lollis of Lewisville, Kenneth Lollis of Hope, AR, and Johnny Lollis of Lewisville; daughter, Roxanne Cunningham of Emerson, AR; brother, David Lollis of Emmett, AR.

Norman Allen Page
Norman Allen Page, age 77, of Stamps, Arkansas died Wednesday, April 27, 2005 at his residence. He was born September 18, 1927 in Waldo, Arkansas. Mr. Page was retired from Alumax Company in Magnolia, was a member of the American Legion, an Army Veteran, and was preceded in death by two brothers: Porter A. Page and Herman W. Page.
He is survived by: his wife, Betty Page of Stamps; daughter, Brenda Wilkerson of Stamps; brother, Darrell William Page of El Dorado, AR; grandson, Jason Dewayne Wilkerson of Stamps.

Doyce Hamilton Jones
Doyce Hamilton Jones, age 81, of Stamps, Arkansas died Tuesday, April 19, 2005 at the Homestead Manor Nursing Home in Stamps. She was born June 4, 1923 in Lafayette County, Arkansas. Mrs. Jones was a homemaker, a lifetime member of The Pleasant Grove Church of Christ and was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Jones.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Elmore Burns, age 70, of Lewisville, Arkansas died Tuesday, April 19, 2005 at his residence. He was born March 13, 1935 in Lewisville. Mr. Burns was a retired SWEPCO Line Supervisor and a member of the Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his wife, Andra Burns.
He is survived by: his son, Wade Burns of Austin, TX; daughter, Brenda Dudley of Texarkana, TX; three brothers & sisters-in-law, Delmore & Toni Burns of Hope, AR, Milburn & Ann Burns of Lewisville and Wilburn & Sarah Burns of Stamps, AR; sister & brother-in-law, Neladine & Harold Freeman of Hope; three grandchildren, Garrett and Madison Dudley of Texarkana and Savannah Burns of Austin, TX; numerous nieces and nephews.

William T. "Bill" Horn
William T. "Bill" Horn, 88, of Waldo, Arkansas passed away Thursday, April 14, 2005 at Magnolia City Hospital. He was born December 10, 1916 in Taylor, Arkansas to the late Mr. and Mrs. W.C. Horn. He served in the US Air Force during World War II, was an operator for McKamie Gas Co., and attended the First Baptist Church in Waldo. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Sedell King Horn.
Survivors are: one son, Terry Horn and wife Marsha of Rockwall, TX; one daughter, Sharon Smith and husband Steven of Magnolia, AR; two brothers, Dana Horn of Riverside, CA and Bill "Sonny" Horn of El Dorado, AR; one sister, Gwen Havens of Shreveport, LA; grandchildren, Jill Griffin, Tonia Sprayberry, Corey Horn, Stacia Huffman, Brian Edington, Lesley Scott and Ashley Horn; great grandchildren, Tyler and Taylor Sprayberry, Shaley Betts, Courtnie Huffman, Haley Huffman, Landon and Savannah Horn.

Estelle Lookadoo Butler
Estelle Lookadoo Butler, age 91, of Carmel, Indiana died Wednesday, April 13, 2005 in Carmel, IN. She was born July 5, 1913 in Amity, Arkansas to James I. and Martha Cates Lookadoo. Mrs. Butler was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Lewisville, Arkansas and was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Lee Butler.
She is survived by: a daughter, Beth Van Tassel of Carmel; sister, Marion Lookadoo Howell of Pamona, CA; granddaughter, Carrie Van Tassel of Carmel.

Billy Warren Formby
Billy Warren Formby passed away on April 12, 2005 from a heart attack at the age of 70. He was born on April 19, 1934 to Narval and Thelma Formby in Patmos, Arkansas, who preceded him in death.
Bill graduated from Lewisville High School and the University of Houston with a degree in petroleum engineering. He served in the US Army from 1954 to 1958 and was stationed, among other places, in Heidelberg, Germany, where his eldest daughter was born.
Bill is survived by: his children, Suzanne and Mark Marshall of Austin, TX, Stacey and Steve Taggart of Dallas, TX and Steve Formby of San Marcos, TX; his grandchildren, Chris, Drew, Zoe, and Lily; two brothers, Travis Joe Formby and Theo Formby; other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Burial took place in Patmos, Arkansas at Mount Nebo Cemetery at 10:00 am on Friday, April 15, and a memorial service was held at 3:00 pm at the Radar Funeral Home in Longview, TX.
Jimmy E. Pierce
Jimmy E. Pierce, age 70, of Crown Point, Indiana formerly of Lansing, Illinois died Sunday, April 10, 2005. He was born June 18, 1934 in Stamps, Arkansas.
Mr. Pierce enjoyed singing country music, playing his guitar and golfing. His favorite past-time was watching his grandchildren participate in all of their sports activities. He was president and sole owner of Pierce Builders for 46 years building garages in Chicagoland from 1959 to present.
He is survived by: his wife of 52 years, June M. Pierce of Crown Point; three children, Eddy W. & Amy Pierce of Crown Point, Theresa & Richard Bernal of Park City, UT, and Danny & Tracie Pierce of Crown Point; two brothers, Herschel & Marsha Pierce of Dallas, TX and Jerry & Vickie Pierce of Emory, TX; eight grandchildren, one great grandson, a host of many dear relatives and close friends.
Funeral services were held at 10:00 am on Saturday, April 16, 2005 at the Falcon Church of Christ in Falcon, Arkansas with burial in the Falcon Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home, Stamps.

Laura Elizabeth Powell, age 91, of Lewisville, Arkansas died Sunday, April 10, 2005 at Medical Park Hospital in Hope. She was born September 19, 1913 in Hempstead County, Arkansas. Mrs. Powell was preceded in death by: her husband, Charlie Powell; two daughters, Pearlene Stultz and Nita Jo Moore; and by a son, Charles Powell.
She is survived by: two sons, Billy H. Roy Gene Strange, age 69, of Buckner, Arkansas died Saturday, April 9, 2005 at Wadley Regional Medical Center in Texarkana, Texas. He was born March 20, 1936 in Petit Jean. Mr. Strange was a laborer employed by Falcon Products. He was a member of South Side Baptist Church in Hope, AR.

Larry Cheatham
Larry Cheatham, age 60, of Stamps, Arkansas died Monday, April 4, 2005 at his residence. He was born June 2, 1944 in Stamps. Mr. Cheatham was self employed and was known for his love of 1957 Chevrolets and his racing experience. He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Walter Cheatham and his uncle, Edwin Goodwin.

Ralph K. Bennett
Ralph K. Bennett, age 54, of Perryville, Arkansas, died March 31, 2005. He was born July 20, 1950, in Lewisville, Arkansas, to the late Robert and Jean Bennett. He was a graduate of Hope High School and attended Henderson State College.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Pat Byrd Bennett and his beloved son, Joshua Bennett, both of Perryville. Survivors also include his sisters, Wanda Adcock of McNeil, Arkansas; Janice Jurls of Lewisville, Arkansas; Linda Bennett of Hope, Arkansas; his niece "daughter" Stacey Bennett of Perryville, Arkansas; and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his best friend and a brother-in-law Gary Traywick of Atkins, Arkansas.
Ralph was an avid reader, naturalist and bible scholar. He was presently a member of Adoration Church, Atkins, Arkansas.
A private memorial service was held by Reverend J.W. Bobo, with special singing provided by Bobby Jones, at Bowden Cemetery, Crow Mountain, Pottsville, Arkansas where his ashes were interred.
Ozell Fort
Ozell Fort, age 88, of North Little Rock, Arkansas died Sunday, March 27, 2005 at Baptist Medical Center in North Little Rock. She was born April 21, 1916 in Stamps, Arkansas to the late Emmet & Nola Fort. Ms. Fort was a member of The First United Methodist Church of North Little Rock, the NLR Women's Club, the National Society of Arts and Letters, Arkansas League of Artists and retired from Exxon/Mobile in Shreveport, LA and from Arkla Gas Co.
She is survived by three nephews, Benny Fort of Pine Bluff, AR, Bill Fort of Ozark, AR and Terry Fort of Sherwood, AR.
