He was chairman of the board of the Arkansas Precast Corporation, board member of First Arkansas Bank and Trust, board member of the Jacksonville Industrial Development Commission, board member of the Jacksonville Boys and Girls Club and past president and board member of the Architectual Precast Association. Survivors inclde his wife, Betty; a son, Michael Cory of Atlanta; a step-son, Todd Cotten of North Little Rock; and one brother, the Rev. Jack Cory of Chicago. Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at First United Methodist Church of Jacksonville. Burial will follow at Rest Hills Memorial Park in North Little Rock. Timothy Justin Riddle Timothy Justin Riddle, 18, of Jacksonville died Wednesday Aug. 23, 2000. He was born Sept. 21, 1980 in Jacksonville. Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Sherri Spencer Porter of Vilonia and David Porter of Jacksonville; his father, Tim Riddle of Oklahoma; a brother, Gabriel Porter of Vilonia; and one sister, Natasha Riddle of Mayflower. Sandra Lois Jenkins Sandra Lois Jenkins, 60, of Jacksonville died Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2000. She was born in Brockton, Mass., and has been a resident of Jacksonville for over 30 years. She was an American Legion Ladies Auxiliary President. Survivors include her husband of 41 years, Norman D. Jenkins; three daughters, Gail Jenkins of Jacksonville, Joan Cogswell of Warner Robins, Ga., and Sherie Moss of Great Falls, Mont.; a son, Norman Jr. of Blytheville; five grandchildren; one sister, Brenda Dunton of Norwell, Mass.; and four brothers, Arthur Badger of Baker, Fla., Walter Badger of Sharon, Mass., Wayne Badger of Plymouth, Mass., and Kevin Badger of Pembroke, Mass. Yvonne Hummel Yvonne Hummel, age 60, of Jacksonville died Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2001. She is survived by her husband, Richard; son, Adrian Hummel; and daughter, Elizabeth Hummel. A memorial service was held Friday at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church in Jacksonville. Mable Vivian Griffin Mable Vivian Griffin, 85, of Jacksonville died Jan. 3, 2001. She was a member of the First Assembly of God in Jacksonville, and the Elderly Activity Center in Jacksonville. Survivors include a son, Gary Griffin; daughter, Sandra Halcumb; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Hazel Cal; a brother, Billy Lamb; and stepchildren, Louise Reynolds, Bill Griffin and Patricia Lumpkin. Ralph Massengale Ralph Eugene Massengale, age 68, of Benton died Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2001. He was a United States Marine Corps E-6 serving 21 years active and nine years in the reserves. He served three tours in the Vietnam War. He was a machine gunner in the Korean War during 1950-1951 and was wounded three times. He was one of the chosen few in the 1st Division Marine in Korea. He was awarded 16 awards and medals including two Presidential Unit Citations and five Purple Hearts. He retired from the Marine Corps as a gunnery sergeant. He was a past quartermaster for VFW Post 9095 and a member of the American Legion. Survivors include his wife, Doris E. Massengale of Benton; two sons, Mark Massengale and Michael Massengale both of California; brother, Micky D. Massengale of Hawaii; three sisters, Betty Sparks of Jacksonville, Mary Massengale of Newport, Ky., and Phyllis Baldwin of Jacksonville, North Carolina; and four grandchildren. William Collins William Nickles Collins, age 62, of Cabot died Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2001. She was a member and Sunday school teacher at First Baptist Church in Jacksonville for many years. She worked as an inspector at the ordnance plant in Jacksonville during WW II. She was the owner and operator of Price's Mobile Home Park for 22 years. She retired from Rebsamen Regional Medical Center. She is survived by three sons, Eddy Price of Jacksonville, Joey Price of Jacksonville, David Price of North Little Rock; four grandchildren; a sister, Grace Shelby of Conway. Myron Stroud Myron Stroud, age 72, of Beebe, died Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2001. He was a retired insurance salesman and a member of the Church of Christ. Surviving are one son, Larry Stroud of Rogers; one daughter, Becky Ballew of Beebe; three brothers, Wayne Stroud of Jacksonville, Douglas Stroud of Little Rock, and Rob Stroud of Beebe; one sister, Louise Baskin of Little Rock; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
