Mr. Josh Cunningham
Mr. Josh Cunningham, 70, of Fountain Hill died Sunday, March 5, 2000, at the Drew Memorial Hospital in Monticello. He was a native and a resident of Fountain Hill for most of his life, a former resident of Clarksdale, Mississippi, and he was a retired electrician and a member of the Zion United Methodist Church. He is preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Charlene Cunningham, in 1994 and his parents, Gus & Georgia Mae Crabtree Cunningham.
Survivors include three sons, Edward, Roger and Carl Cunningham all of Fountain Hill; two daughters, Sherry G. Maxwell of Fountain Hill and Patricia Sury of Houston, TX; three brothers, Ben Cunningham of Winnsboro, LA, Earl Cunningham of Monticello and Lloyd Cunningham of Baskin, LA; two sisters, Margaret Whitsit of Monticello and Margie Thomas of Napa, CA; seven grandchildren, Jimmy Langley, Michael Cunningham, Cassie Maxwell, Kevin Maxwell, Melissa Cunningham, Amanda & Shelby Smith; and two great-grandchildren Amber & Kristopher Langley.
Funeral services were planned for 10 a.m., Tuesday, March 7, in the Zion United Methodist Church with Revs. Pat Wilkerson and Lane Amos officiating. Pallbearers were to be Scott Strickland, David Kinney, Harrison Shaver, Jr., Justin & Ronnie Pennington and Joe Chaney. Interment was to follow services at the Zion Cemetery, directed by Jones Funeral Home of Hamburg.

Mrs. Amanda Jo Fuller
Mrs. Amanda Jo Fuller, 92, of Montrose, died Sunday, March 5, 2000, at the Chicot Memorial Hospital in Lake Village. Mrs. Fuller was a native of Ashley County; a resident of Boydell and Montrose for most of her life, a homemaker, a member of the Boydell Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Q. A. Fuller in 1982, her parents, David Benjamin & Amanda Miles Hollis Reynolds, a brother and a sister.
Survivors include three sons, Leon, John and Dewayne Fuller all of Houston, TX; three daughters, Zada Warren of Houston, TX, Nora Bawcom of Parkdale and Bobbie Higginbotham of Hamburg; a brother, Dave Bradford Reynolds of Jerome; a sister, Verdell Matthews of Lake Village; 12 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were planned for 2 p.m., Tuesday, March 7, in the Montrose Baptist Church with Revs. Larry Donaldson & E. W. Ricks officiating. Pallbearers were to be Johnny & Gary Matthews, Glenn Reynolds, Ricky Russell, Henry Greer and Dale Bates. Interment was to follow services at the Trafalgar Cemetery, directed by Jones Funeral Home of Hamburg. Memorials may be made to the Montrose Baptist Church, 209 W. Oak Street, Montrose, AR 71658 or to the Trafalgar Cemetery Association, c/o Mr. Ben Lawrence, 859 Ashley Road 105, Montrose, AR 71658.

Alta Mable Lewis Jeffress
Alta Mable Lewis Jeffress, 92, of Crossett died Friday, March 3, 2000, at the Hamburg Health and Rehabilitation Center. Born August 9, 1907, to David Oscar and Carrie McDonald Lewis in Jonesboro, LA, she was a teacher for 37 years, a life member of the Arkansas and national Retired Teachers Associations, a member of the Louisiana Tech University Alumni since 1934, and a member of the United Methodist Women and the First United Methodist Church of Crossett. She was preceded in death by two brothers, one sister, and her husband, Jewell M. Jeffress.
Survivors include a special nephew, John David Allen of Crossett; three great-nephews, David, Donald and Calvin Allen, and many other nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 5, in the First United Methodist Church of Crossett with Rev. Larry Williams.
Burial followed services at the Unity Cemetery, directed by Jones Funeral Home of Crossett.

Katlynn Jane Kelley
Katlynn Jane Kelley, four months, of Crossett died Friday, March 3, 2000, at the Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock. The infant was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Bill King, Don Amerson, Johnny Kelley and Martha Combs.
Survivors are her father, Jimmy Don Kelley, and her mother, Krystal Graves, both of Crossett; a sister, Morgan Marie Kelley of Crossett; her grandparents, Nancy Barnett of Crossett, Gary "Pee Pee" Graves of Monticello, Telford and Patricia Norman of Hamburg, and Jimmy C. and Janet Kelley of Fountain Hill; and her great-grandparents, Geneva King and Edith Amerson.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Monday, March 6, in the Rolfe Chapel Freewill Baptist Church with Revs. Carlton White and Charles Pullin officiating. Pallbearers were Kelly Menendez, Todd Shaw, B J. King and Heath King. Burial followed services at the Carlock Cemetery, directed by Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg.
