Mr. William Radford
Mr. William Radford, 45, of Helena died Friday, February 18, 2000, in Helena. Mr. Radford was a native of Crossett, a teacher in the Helena District for the past 18 years, and a member of the Beautiful Zion Baptist Church of Helena.
He is survived by two sons, Brady and William A. Radford, both of Nashville, TN; two daughters, Nakita Radford of Terrell, TX, and Rhateische Radford of Tacoma, WA; his parents, Rev. and Mrs. Jessie Radford, Sr., of Crossett; one brother, Jessie Radford, Jr., of Hope; two sisters, Mary Martin of Crossett and Carol Brow of Monroe, LA; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services were Wednesday, February 23, at 4:00 p.m. in Helena with the Rev. L.T. Mapp officiating. Interment was in the Ryles Chapel Cemetery on February 24 at 1:00 p.m., directed by Stephens Funeral Home of West Helena.
Maude Senn Ferrell
Maude Senn Ferrell, 87, of Warren died Friday, February 18, 2000, at the Lakeside Rehabilitation Center in Lake Village. Born September 16, 1912, at Sumpter to the late Walter and Nicie Pope Senn, she was a homemaker and a member of the Christian Fellowship Church. She marriage Bernard B. Ferrell April 13, 1940, and he died September 11, 1984. She was also preceded in death by a son, Walter Ferrell; a stepmother, Alice Senn; a brother, Harmon Senn; and a sister, Margie Willis.
Survivors are two sons, Louis Ferrell of Fussa, Japan, and Phillip Ferrell of Mountain View; two daughters, Patricia South of Chaney, WA, and Vickie Barrett of Portland; a brother, George Senn of Jersey; seven sisters, Eva Lou Ferrell, Carmen Campbell, Athleen Hines and Sarah Carter of Warren, Una Miller of Pine Bluff, Mary Frisby of Fort Smith and Linnie Mae Connor of Bryan, TX; 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were at 1:30 p.m. Monday, February 21, in the Christian Fellowship Church in Warren with Rev. Wayman Mann officiating. Lawana Mann was pianist. Pallbearers were Allen Ferrell, Billy Massey, Wayne Steadman, James Temple, Don Stuard and James E. Smith.
Burial followed services at the Smyrna Cemetery, directed by Frazer's Funeral Home of Warren.
Thomas C. Hunter
Thomas C. Hunter, 65, of Crossett died Saturday, February 19, 2000, at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock. Born October 2, 1934, to Grafton Pinson and Lula Marinda Holt Hunter in Coffeeville, MS, he was an U. S. Army veteran who served in Germany. He retired from the Georgia-Pacific tissue mill after 33 years of service. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Arkansas Trace Hunting Club and enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Hunter Outlaw.
Survivors are his wife of 41 years, Pat Hunter; a son, Thomas C. Hunter, Jr., and a daughter, Felicia Outlaw, all of Crossett; two brothers, Percy Hunter of Coldwater, TN, and Leroy Hunter of Crossett; a sister, Marie Walker of Water Valley, MS; and a grandson, Patric Outlaw of Crossett
Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Tuesday, February 22, in the First Baptist Church of Crossett with Dr. David Newberry officiating. Burial followed services at the Pine Memorial Park, directed by Jones Funeral Home of Crossett.
Memorials may be made to a favorite charity.
Mr. Morris Wyatt Kervin
Mr. Morris Wyatt Kervin, 73, of Natchez, MS, died Monday, February 21, 2000, at his home in Natchez where he had lived for the past four years. He was a native of Natchez and a former resident of Parkdale, New Orleans, and Shreveport, LA. He was a Certified Public Accountant, an U. S. Army veteran of World War II and a member of the Parkdale Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, D. D. and Velma Tisdale Kervin, and two brothers, Dale and Virgil E. Kervin.
Survivors are two brothers, Rex G. Kervin of Rayville, LA, and George M. Kervin of Midlothian, TX; two sisters, Mary Virginia Looney of Dallas, TX, and Jeannette Dickey of Natchez; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, February 22, at Jones Funeral Home in Hamburg. Grave-side services are planned for 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 23, at the Parkdale Cemetery with Rev. Harry Noble officiating.
