Mr. Billy Bolin
Mr. Billy Bolin, 58, died Thursday, April 6, 2000, at his residence in Hamburg. Mr. Bolin was a native of Drew County and a resident of Fountain Hill and Hamburg all of his life and a member of the Eden Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his mother, Virgie Hollis Bolin and a brother, Mack Ray Bolin.
He is survived by his wife, Vicky McDougald Bolin of Hamburg; a son, Charles Bolin; a daughter, Lisa Strickland; his father, R. C. Bolin all of Fountain Hill; two step-sons, Michael & Bobby McGraw of Indianapolis, IN; two brothers, Nem & Kenneth Bolin both of Fountain Hill; two sisters, Norma Allison of Fountain Hill and Charlotte Johnson of Crossett; two grandchildren, Chasity & Brooke Bolin and one step-grandchild, Ashley McGraw.
Funeral services were 2 p.m., Saturday, April 8, in the chapel of Jones Funeral Home of Hamburg with Rev. Lane Amos & Rev. Mike Titsworth officiating. Pallbearers were Bryan & Steve Bolin, Mike & Paul Allison, Brent & Darren Johnson. Interment was in the Eden Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Eden Cemetery, c/o Mr. Jerry G. Stanley, 4026 Hwy 133 N. , Hamburg, AR 71646.
Mr. Roy C. Crawford
Mr. Roy C. Crawford, 74, of Hamburg died Saturday, April 8, 2000, at the Beverly Health Care Center in Hamburg. Mr. Crawford was a native of Big Fort, MN; a resident of the Hamburg area since 1990 and a member of the First Baptist Church in Hamburg. He was an U. S. Army veteran of World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Latoya McQuay Crawford of Hamburg; a son, Mark Crawford of Camino, CA; a daughter, Rose Hensley of Manteca, CA; two sisters, Jean Schneider of Salem, WI and Liz Scholl of Jacksonville, FL; two grandchildren and one great-grandson.
Grave-side funeral services were planned 2 p.m., Wednesday, April 12, at the Hamburg Cemetery with Rev. Klois Hargis officiating. Funeral arrangements are by Jones Funeral Home of Hamburg.
Mr. Robin W. "Sandy" Hill
Mr. Robin W. "Sandy" Hill, 44, of Crossett died Saturday, April 9, 2000, at the St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe, LA. Born July 24, 1955, to Randolph N. and Edith Wilson Hill in Crossett, he worked utility in the Georgia Pacific tissue mill. He was an U. S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam War, serving on the U. S. S. Raleigh. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and attended the Cloverdale Assembly of God.
Survivors include his wife, Karen Gardner Hill; a son, Derek Hill of Crossett; two daughters, Jennifer Hill of Crossett and Brandy Hill of Warren; his parents; two brothers, Danny Hill of Hamburg and Randy Hill of Crossett; a sister, Diane Merriweather of Crossett; and two granddaughters, Lauren and Sara Hill.
Funeral services were planned for 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 12, in the Cloverdale Assembly of God with Revs. Bryan Peck and Bob Willis officiating. Burial was to follow services at the Zion Cemetery, directed by Jones Funeral Home of Crossett.
Mr. Bufford Leon Mason
Mr. Bufford Leon Mason, 62, of Wilmot died Sunday, April 9, 2000, at the Veterans' Hospital in Little Rock. A life-long resident of Wilmot, he was a retired farm laborer and a member of the Assembly of God in Wilmot. He was preceded in death by his father, Albert "Doc" Mason; two sisters, Ann and Dollie Mason; and two brothers, Albert Glenn and Howard Mason.
Survivors include his wife, Nell Mason; a son, Larry Mason of Wilmot; a daughter, Melissa Adams and husband Allen of Hamburg; his mother, Nancy Mason of Crossett; and two grandsons, Glenn Allen and Nicholas Leon Adams.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Monday, April 10, in the Assembly of God in Wilmot with Rev. Randall Eddleman officiating. Pallbearers were Clinton, Richard, Tom and Phillip Weatherly, Chris Hammond and Bobby Vail.
Burial followed services at the Wilmot Cemetery, directed by Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg.
