Ronnie David
Ronnie David, 43, of Clarkston, GA, formerly of Hamburg, died Tuesday, July 18, 2000, in Georgia. A native of Hamburg and a Georgia resident for the past 13 years, he was a construction worker for Pittman Co., and a member of the Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Mary David and Sherman and Zannie Miller. Survivors are two sons, Robert L. Tucker of Dallas, TX, and Andrew Baker of Toledo, OH; four daughters, Rotundra Tucker and Shinika Davis of Dallas, Arnissa Davis of El Dorado and Melissa Pippen of Little Rock; his mother, Alma Barnett of Hamburg; his father, Charlie Miller of Bowling Green, KY; four brothers, Bobby Barnett of Hamburg, Jamie Barnett of Sedalia, MO, Charles Miller of Atlanta, GA, and Tyson Miller of Bowling Green, KY; three sisters, Marilyn Wilson and Janice Williamson of Hamburg and Letitia Rushin of Lithia Springs, GA; and three grandchildren. Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 22, in the Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. W. R. Taylor officiating. Pallbearers were Wilford Howard, George Howard, Jr., David Henderson, Lonnie Walker, Levell Stanley and Edward Holt. Honorary pallbearers were the deacons and trustees of the church and members of the Hamburg High School 1975 class. Burial followed services at the Lacey Cemetery, directed by Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg.

Frances L. Miller
Frances L. Miller, 76, of Camden died Tuesday, July 18, 2000, at the Ouachita County Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, Norris Grady Miller; her parents, Williams and Idelia Riddick; and a brother, James Barber Riddick. Survivors include three sons, Jimmy Miller and wife Selena of Texarkana, TX, Donnie Miller and wife Tawana of Hamburg, and Doug Miller and wife Sharon of Emerson; a daughter, Kathy Harrell of Camden; four brothers, Roscoe Riddick and wife Marion of Pine Bluff, Bernard Riddick and wife Marie of Jackson, MS, Benny Riddick and wife Myrtle of Camden, and Howard Riddick and wife Gwen of Lafayette, LA; thirteen grandchildren, Scotty Miller, Timmy Miller, Lisa Kaar, Ray Miller, Raney Miller, Deke Miller, Zeke Miller, Ariel Thomas, Joey Don Miller, Krystle Miller, Jenny Miller, Shannon Story, and Paul Covington; five great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services were at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 20, at the Proctor Funeral Home with burial at 3:00 p.m. in Antioch Cemetery in Ashley County. Memorials may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.

Doyle Kenneth Nichols
Doyle Kenneth Nichols, 70, of Crossett died Saturday, July 22, 2000, at the Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock. Born October 17, 1929, to Doyle Ray and Leonard Geraldine Nolan Nichols in Banks, he retired from Georgia-Pacific as a tissue mill machine tender after 25 years of service. He was a former vice president of Papermakers Local #369, enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping, and was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Crossett. Survivors include his wife, Anna Mae Nichols; two daughters, Barbara Cantley and Linda McDougald, all of Crossett; one brother, Henry Nichols of Banks; one sister, Jackie Reddin of Alexandria, LA; and four grandchildren. Funeral services were planned for 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 25, in the First Baptist Church of Crossett with Revs. Jimmie Lewis and David Newberry officiating. Burial was to follow services at 3 p.m. at the McFarland Cemetery in Banks, with arrangements by Jones Funeral Home of Crossett.

Inezer Sanders
Inezer Sanders, 75, of Eudora died Saturday, July 22, 2000, at the Four Oaks Living Center in Little Rock. She was born February 23, 1925, to the late Matthew and Minnie Carr Wesley in Eudora. She was a homemaker and a member of the Zion Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by a grand child, LaTanya Webster. Survivors include three sons, Curtiss Wesley of Sherman, TX, Cedric Wesley and Bonnie Sanders and wife Brenda of Little Rock; five daughters, Bettie Wesley of Little Rock, Vertie Stapes and spouse Raymond of Eudora, Johnettee Walker and spouse John of Wilmot; Joyce Webster of Little Rock, and Vaughncier Davis and spouse William of Little Rock; 14 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, one goddaughter, Legirtha Weston; and a god-sister, Emma Cashier. Visitation will be Friday, July 28, from 7-8 p.m. at the Griffin-Steele Funeral Home in Eudora. Funeral services are planned for 11 a.m. Saturday, July 29, in the Zion Chapel Missionary Baptist Church with Revs. Glenn Donald, Roderick Torrence and Clyde Sanders officiating. Burial will follow services at the Hill Cemetery.
