Bobby Gene Washington
Mr. Bobby Gene Washington, 57, of Crossett, died Tuesday, April 10, 2001, at his residence in Crossett. A lifelong resident of Crossett, he was preceded in death by his parents, Vail and Rose Tucker Washington, and three brothers, Earnest Spratt, John T. Spratt, and Leonard Washington.
He is survived by two sons, Jerome Washington of Arcadia, CA, and Chancellor Washington of Los Angeles, CA; two daughters, Monica Washington of Los Angeles, CA, and Veronica Washington of Crossett; one brother, Lonnie and wife Hattie Washington of Lancaster, CA; one sister, Virginia Jones of Los Angeles, CA; and one granddaughter, Brianna Velazquez.
Funeral services were Monday, April 16, at 1:00 p.m. at Ryles Chapel A.M.E. Church with the Rev. Jessie Radford officiating. His nephews served as pallbearers. Interment was in the Ryles Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg.

Charlotte Mae Arrington
Charlotte Mae Arrington, 72, of El Dorado, formerly of Hamburg, died Monday, April 2, 2001, at the Southeast Arkansas Medical Center in El Dorado. A native of Hamburg and an El Dorado resident for the past 28 years, she was a homemaker and a member of the Miles Memorial Church of God in Christ. She was preceded in death by a son, E. G. Green; her parents, Lewis and Annie Arrington; and three sisters, Alma Allen, Maddie Arrington and Flotie Mae Lambert.
Survivors include two sons, Jerry L. Robinson of Darnell and Lewis Robinson of El Dorado; six daughters, Gloria B. Wright, Maydell Moore, Rozella Coleman and Tammy Robinson of El Dorado and Rosie Robinson and Kathy Jefferson of Long Beach, CA: a brother, Lewis Arrington of Hamburg; a sister, Lottie B. Lyons of Little Rock; 21 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, April 17, in the Emmanuel Temple Church of God in Christ with Supt. Jasper Mays officiating. Pallbearers were Alvin Reynolds, Rodney Henry, Alfonso King, Willie Mays, Henry Dunn and Eddie Mays. Burial followed services at the Johnson Memorial Cemetery, directed by Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg.

Willie Mac Barnett
Willie Mac Barnett, 77, a lifelong resident of Crossett, died Wednesday, April 4, 2001. Born September 27, 1923, to Elzie and Ollie Mae Doss Barnett, he was a self-employed building contractor, a Baptist, and a long-time member of the Crossett Riding Club and the Old Carter Deer Camp. An avid hunter and fisherman, he was preceded in death by a son, Bruce Barnett; a daughter, Betty Bolin; two brothers, Leroy and Norris Barnett; and two sisters, Ione Barnett and Hazel Schictel.
Survivors include his wife, Martiel Barnett; a son, Jerry Mac Barnett and wife Margaret; son-in-law, Johnnie Bolin; a daughter, Kathy Baldwin and husband Tom; his mother-in-law, Zelma Young, all of Crossett; three sisters, Willene Stinson of Crossett, Martha Ingram of Rayville, LA, and Violet Ross of Whitehall; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were at 3 p.m. Friday, April 6, in the First Freewill Baptist Church with Revs. Roy Craig and John Reed officiating. Pallbearers were Charles Grassi, Roger Naff, Joe Harper, Don Henson, Ben T. Carter and Jimmy Mills.
Burial followed services at the Carter Cemetery, directed by Jones Funeral Home of Crossett.
Memorials may be made to the Carter Cemetery Fund, c/o Ben T. Carter, 10900 Wilkin, Bastrop, LA 71220 or to the Crossett Riding Club Scholarship Fund, P. O. Box 1720, Crossett, AR 71635.

Camille Anita Paulk Bearden
Camille Anita Paulk Bearden, 55, of Crossett died Saturday, April 7, 2001. Born June 14, 1945, to Bertram and Geraldine Hall Paulk, she was a homemaker and loved to paint, draw and read.
Survivors include a son, William Cody Bearden; a daughter, Summer Bearden, both of Crossett; three sisters, Katie Willacker of Merced, CA, Diana Peacock of Monticello, and Denise Paulk of Humble, TX.
Funeral services were planned for 11 a.m Tuesday, April 10, in the Jones Funeral Home chapel in Crossett with Carlton White officiating. Pallbearers were to be Steve Kannard, Will Kannard, Josh Kelley, Jason Akers, Kenny Duncan, Rusty McGaughan, Donnie McCaughan and Deon Peacock.
Burial was to follow services at the Simms Cemetery.
