May 14, 1946, in Hamburg, she was preceded in death by her father, C. T. Starling; a sister, Janice D. Harris, and a brother, Michael D. Harris.
Survivors include her husband, R. C. Cook, Sr.; a daughter, Teresa J. Cody; a son, Troy Dale Lohr; her mother, Janet, and stepfather Winfred Harris; grandchildren Rodney Cody, Codi Carr, Taylor Lohr, and Jazmine Lohr, all of Conroe, and Todd Lohr of Tomball, TX; two brothers, Charles and wife Sandy Starling of Dayton, TX and Kirk Starling; four sisters, Peggy and husband Harry Moyer and Christal Smith of Hamburg, Yvette Ostolasa of Emmett , Idaho, and Retta Murphy of Louisiana; a stepsister, Dianna and husband Bill Cannan of Huntsville, TX; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were at 3 p.m. Monday, April 9, in the Cashner Colonial Chapel in Conroe with Rev. Mark Stoval officiating.
Carl Barry Dintelman
Carl Barry Dintelman, 53, of Stuttgart died Thursday, April 4, 20001, at the Stuttgart hospital. Born July 14, 1947, in Pine Bluff, he was retired from the U. S. Army after serving in the Vietnam era and was a member of the Stuttgart First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two brothers, Jim Dintelman of Hamburg and George Dintelman of Stuttgart.
Grave-side services were at 2 p.m. Friday, April 6, at the Lone Tree Cemetery with Rev. George Williams officiating and arrangements by Turpin Funeral Home of Stuttgart.
The family suggests memorials to the First United Methodist Church of Stuttgart.
Mr. James Hershell "Boogie" Harris
Mr. James Hershell "Boogie" Harris, 56, of Bastrop, LA died Monday, April 2, 2001. at the Hill View Nursing Home in Bastrop. A native and former resident of Jones, LA, and a resident of Bastrop for the past 20 years, he attended the Pine Grove Church of God. He was preceded in death by his father, Berry Harris, and three brothers, Calvin, Lee & Hersey Harris.
He is survived by his mother, Robbie Cole Harris of Bastrop; four brothers, Ernest and Pete Harris of Seminole, TX, and G.W. and Royce Harris of Bastrop; three sisters, Marie Moore, Jewel Ruth & Betty Sue Middlebrooks of Bastrop and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were at 10 a.m., Wednesday, April 4, at the Pine Grove Church of God with Rev. Bobby O'Fallon officiating. Nephews were pallbearers. Interment followed services at the Mt. Adrian Paskel
Adrian Paskel, 34, of Alexandria, LA, formerly of Hamburg, died Tuesday, April 3, 2001, in Alexandria. A native of Chicago, IL, he was a former electrician, a member of the Latter Rain Pentecostal Church in Alexandria, and a 1983 graduate of the George Washington Carver High School in Chicago.
Survivors include his mother, Gloria Allen of Pine Bluff; his grandmother, Carvine Paskel of Hamburg; his great-grandmother, May Bell Jenkins of Hamburg; a sister, Yolanda Cunningham of Alexandria, LA; a niece, Crystal Williams of Alexandria, LA, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 8, in the Christ Temple Pentecostal Church with pastor Gloria Allen officiating. Pallbearers were Sammy Jenkins, Jr., Sheldon Putney, Carl Jenkins, Charles and Calvin Barnett and Chris Tatum. Burial followed services at the Carlock Cemetery, directed by Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg.
