Lucille Trotter Moseley
Lucille Trotter Moseley, 77, of Crossett died Sunday, November 25, 2001, at the Ashley County Medical Center. Born November 15, 1924, in Monticello to William and Ada Amelia Holman Trotter, she was a member of the Crossett Housing Authority board, the Forest Echoes board and the Delta Kappa Gamma International Teachers' Society. She was a retired teacher with 42 years of service, including 18 years as an elementary principal, and she was a member of the First Baptist Church of Crossett. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe A. Moseley.
Survivors include a daughter, Joe Moseley Johnson of Crossett; a sister, Hazel Dean Gulledge of Little Rock; and a grandchild, Jillian Leigh Johnson of Crossett.
Funeral services were planned for 11 a. m. Tuesday, November 27, in the First Baptist Church with Bro. Larry White officiating.
Burial was to follow services beginning at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Enon Cemetery in Monticello with arrangements by Jones Funeral Home of Crossett.

Josephine "Josie" Myles
Josephine "Josie" Myles, 73, of Wilmot died Friday, November 23, 2001, at her residence. A lifelong resident of Wilmot, she was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Yolanda Russell, in 1993; her parents, Tommy and Rosetta Davis Myles; and a sister, Odell Myles.
Survivors include two sons, Orlando Days of Little Rock and Tommy Russell of Toledo, OH; four daughters, Alethea Curenton and Elosie Smith of Little Rock and Rowena Days and Wanda Ramie of Toledo, OH; 20 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were planned for 1 p.m. Wednesday, November 28, in the First Baptist Church with Rev. J. D. Crockett officiating. Pallbearers were to be Carl Rollins, James Boldwin, John Metcalf, Ron Miller, Herbert Shelton and Harvest Moore. Honorary pallbearers were to be Orlando Days, Tetzel Turner, Jimmy Smith, Tommy Russell, Reginald Fowler and Leroy Stanley. Burial will follow services at the Jim Smith Cemetery under the direction of Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg.

Oma Jeanette Smith
Oma Jeanette Smith, 82, of Greenwood died Thursday, November 22, 2001. Born January 28, 1919, to James Henry and Carrie Agnes Powell DuBose, she was preceded in death by her husband, William D. Smith, and a brother, Bobby DuBose.
Survivors include three daughters, Sue Carol Smith of Fort Worth, TX, Donna Stewart of Little Rock and Janet Patton of Greenwood; one brother, James DuBose of Crossett; five sisters, Leta Kelley, Rena Tucker, Betty Murphy, and Elise Courson, all of Crossett, and Ollie Barnett of Monticello; seven grandchildren, Brian, Whitney, Abby, Joseph, Caroline, Mary Alice and Lucie, and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Sunday, November 25, in the Jarvis Chapel Baptist Church with Bro. Donnie DuBose and Gary Farmer officiating. Pallbearers were Harold Allen Tucker, Ronnie Tucker, Steve Courson, Danny Courson, Richard Murphy and Matthew Farmer.
Burial followed services at the Outlaw Cemetery, directed by Jones Funeral Home of Crossett.

Mrs. Fannie Wood Tatum
Mrs. Fannie Lou Wood Tatum, 86, of Monroe, LA, died Sunday, November 25, 2001, at her daughter's residence in Monroe. Mrs. Tatum was a native of Fountain Hill, a resident of Crossett for over 50 years until moving back to Fountain Hill in 1975, and she was a resident of Monroe since March, 1999. She was a graduate of Crossett High School and a member of the Fountain Hill First Baptist Church. She and her husband owned and operated the Tatum Grocery Store in Crossett for many years and was a member of the Fountain Hill First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Charles Reginald Tatum, in 1992; her parents, Dr. Jesse Thomas & Mittie Louise Deal Wood, and a sister-in-law, Mrs. J D. Wood.
She is survived by a daughter, Betty W. Lemmer of Monroe, LA; a granddaughter, Renee Chance and husband J.L. of Sterlington, LA; a great-grandson, Tatum Reese Chance; two brothers, Dr. Julian Deal Wood of Seminole, OK, and Dr. Jack A. Wood and wife Dottie of Fayetteville; and many nieces, nephews and close friends.
Grave-side funeral services and interment were planned for 11 a.m., Wednesday, November 28, in the Pinewood Cemetery with Revs. Bill Elton & Randy Farmer officiating. Funeral arrangements were by Jones Funeral Home of Hamburg. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Fountain Hill First Baptist Church, PO Box 265, Fountain Hill, AR 71642 or to the American Cancer Society, 901 N. University Ave., Little Rock, AR 72207.
