Doris Williams

Doris Williams, 70, of Southwest City, Mo., died June 2, 2002, at Grove General Hospital in Grove, Okla., of an illness. Born May 7, 1932, in Pineville, Mo., she was the daughter of Luther and Martha (Pratt) Hatfield.

She was preceded in death by her father; two brothers, Melvin Hatfield and Gene Hatfield, and a granddaughter, Kim Moorman.

Survivors include her husband Ralph Williams of the home; three daughters, Mary McFerron of Kansas, Okla., Jenny Jones of Bella Vista, Ark., and Teresa Moorman of Sulphur Springs, Ark.; two sons, David Cooley of Buffalo, Mo., and Joe Cooley of St. Peters, Mo.; her mother Martha Hatfield of Noel, Mo.; two sisters, Pat Hutchens of Anderson, Mo., and Darlene Mitchell of Noel; three brothers, Ed Hatfield of Noel, Jim Hatfield of Neosho, Mo., and Jack Hatfield of Anderson; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were June 5 at Ozark Funeral Home in Anderson, Mo. The Rev. David Williams and the Rev. Bob Howard officiated the service, which was followed by burial at Southwest City Cemetery.

Erma Dee Kirby-Wright

Erma Dee Kirby-Wright, 52, a life-long resident of Colcord, Okla., died June 4, 2002, at her home in Siloam Springs, Ark. Born Oct. 15, 1949, in Colcord, she was the daughter of Albert (An) Anderson Kirby and Velma Elizabeth Sisson.

Kirby-Wright was a special education teacher for 21 years at Kenwood School and various other schools. She was a member of the Oklahoma Teachers Association and the National Teachers Association.

She was preceded in death by her previous husband, Evert Jay Wilkerson; two fathers-in-law, Jay Wilkerson and Doyle Wright; and a sister, Myrtle Jewel Kirby.

Survivors include a son, Carlos Wright of the home; two sisters, Mayce Larmon and husband Danny, and Annavee Kirby-Denny, all of Colcord; four brothers-in-law, Barney, Billy Ray, Kenneth Wilkerson and Buz Larmon, all of Colcord; and two sisters-in-law, Maxine Larmon and Barbara Whitmire.

A funeral service took place June 7 at the Draper Community Center in Colcord. Larry Ellis officiated the service, which was followed by burial at Sunset Cemetery.

Alice Carol Moore

Alice "Carol" Moore, 65, of Farmington, Ark., died Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2004, in Springdale, Ark. She was born July 30, 1939, in Louisville, Ky., to Elmer E. Hettinger and Alice Lee Keightley Hettinger.

Shirley Ann Terlecki

Shirley Ann Terlecki, 69, of Bella Vista, Ark., died Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2004, at her home. She was born June 20, 1925, in Chicago, Ill., to John Donat and Lottie Dusz Donat.

LeRoy Eugene Miller

LeRoy Eugene Miller, 70, of Bella Vista, Ark., died Monday, Oct. 25, 2004, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, Ark. He was born Sept. 1, 1934, in Bayfield, Colo., to Jacob Holland Miller and Florence Edna Landreth Miller.

Ray Collinsworth

Ray Collinsworth, 88, of Rogers, Ark., died Sunday, Oct. 24, 2004, at St. Mary s Hospital in Rogers, Ark.

Charles Gordon Gustafson

Charles Gordon Gustafson, 80, of Bella Vista, Ark., died Monday, Oct. 18, 2004, at his home. He was born May 21, 1924, in Viking, Minn., to Carl Gustafson and Ida Halvorson Gustafson.

Larry A. Hutmacher

Larry A. Hutmacher, 64, of Bella Vista, Ark., died Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2004, at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Fayetteville, Ark.

Gerald Jerry Leffler

Gerald "Jerry" Leffler, 74, of Bella Vista, Ark., died Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2004, at St. Mary s Hospital in Rogers, Ark. He was born Oct. 15, 1929, in Gary, Ind., to Benjamin M. Leffler and Ethel Bulkeley Leffler.

Daphne Tyler

Daphne Tyler, 74, of Gentry, died Saturday, Oct. 16, 2004. She was born on March 16, 1930, in Summit, Ark. She was the daughter of Dolph and Velma Dilday.

Terry Laster

Terry Laster, 49, of Bentonville, Ark., formerly of Hazel Green, Ala., died Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2004, at his home. He was born Feb. 13, 1955, to Jack Laster and Geneva Laster.

Robert Don Tedford

Robert Don Tedford, 61, of Bella Vista, Ark., died Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2004, in a hospital in Oklahoma City, Okla. He was born Dec. 6, 1942, in Lindsay, Okla., to Don Allen Tedford and Lola Tedford. He graduated from Oklahoma University. He worked as a certified public accountant and later became a truck driver.

Gerald "Jerry" Leffler

Gerald "Jerry" Leffler, 74, of Bella Vista, Ark., died Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2004, at St. Mary s Hospital in Rogers, Ark. He was born Oct. 15, 1929, in Gary, Ind., to Benjamin M. Leffler and Ethel Bulkeley Leffler.

Ruby Lue Guthrie, 90, of Gentry, Ark., died Sunday, Sept. 19, 2004, at Siloam Springs Nursing and Rehabilitation in Siloam Springs, Ark. She was born Jan. 22, 1914, in Depew, Okla., to Albert Strand and Elsie Wright Strand.

Kyisha Chanell Reding,

Kyisha Chanell Reding, 23, of Gentry, Ark., died Friday, Sept. 17, 2004, near Cherokee City, Ark. She was born March 6, 1981, in Salina, Kan., to Gary Buckland and Margie Harrington Buckland.

Erman Dell Wood

Erman Dell Wood, 89, of Colcord, Okla., died Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2004, in Tulsa, Okla., after an extended illness. She was born April 15, 1915, near Colcord to Frank Gibson and Bertha Gibson.

She attended school at Minni Ha Ha through the eighth grade. She was a homemaker and a longtime resident of Colcord. She attended Faith Baptist Church in Sandusky, Okla. She enjoyed reading and crocheting.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Richard Leno "Lee" Wood, in 1979; an infant son, Franklin John Wood; a daughter, Betty Reynolds; two granddaughters; and a great-granddaughter.

Survivors include four sons and two daughters-in-law, Richard Calvin of Tulsa, Okla., Lowell Wood and Wanda Wood of Colcord, Clyde Wood and Betty Jo Wood of Rogers, Ark., and Dennis Wood of Watts, Okla.; four daughters and two sons-in-law, Eula Bernard of Tulsa, Hazel Dentis of Gravette, Ark., Velva Hernden and Bill Hernden of Neodesha, Kan., and Reba Cobb and Don Cobb of Springdale, Ark.; two sisters, Betty Scales and Doris Sherman, both of Clatskanie, Ore.; 17 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 5, at Wasson Funeral Home of Siloam Springs, Ark. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 6, at the Faith Baptist Church in Sandusky, Okla., with Brother Mike Whiteley. Burial will be at the Row Cemetery in Colcord.

Paul "Smokey" Boles

Paul "Smokey" Boles, 87, of Pineville, Mo., died Monday, Nov. 1, 2004, at Freeman Neosho Hospital in Neosho, Mo. He was born Aug. 12, 1917, in Howell, Ark., to William Boles and Cleda Emery Boles.

He worked as a lineman for the Santa Fe Railroad and as one of the first policemen in Owasso, Okla. He later worked construction for Douglas Aviation in Tulsa, Okla. He and his wife moved to the Grove, Okla., area from Tulsa in 1978 and had lived in Pineville for 10 years. He enjoyed camping, fishing and playing his guitar.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Carolyn May Boles.

Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Laura Crippen Boles; a daughter and son-in-law, Barbara Baker and Harold Baker of Pineville; a sister, Alma Stroud of Baytown, Texas; two half brothers, Alvie Boles and Ed Boles, both of Rosedale, Okla.; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 4, at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home of Grove, Okla., with the Rev. Jerry Seigel.

Burial will be at 3 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 4, at the Collinsville Cemetery in Collinsville, Okla.
