Daisy Mae Coe

Daisy Mae Coe, 83, of Siloam Springs, Ark., died on Friday, Feb. 11, 2005 at the Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital.

Daisy was born on Feb. 8, 1922, in Ft. Worth, Texas, a daughter of Hollie Badgwell and Mae Wines Badgwell. She marriage Bob Coe in 1955 in Austin, Texas. She and Bob owned and operated the Gypsy Camp for Girls near Siloam Springs for many years, closing it in 1990. Daisy attended Harvard Avenue Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband Bob of Siloam Springs; one daughter, Claudia Baron of Vermillion S. D.; one brother, Clint Badgwell of Odessa, Texas; one sister, Moira Shaw of Ft. Worth, Texas; and three grand-daughters, Mellissa Lee of Houston, Texas, Sarah Baron of Columbia, Mo. and Shawna Baron of Vermillion, S. D.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home of Siloam Springs.

Donald "Don" Ray Castleberry

Donald "Don" Ray Castleberry, 61, of Jessieville, Ark., died Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2005. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 13, at the Jessieville Church of God.

Suzanne Paeschke

Suzanne Paeschke, 61, of Bentonville, Ark., died Wednesday, March 2, 2005. She was born April 17, 1943, in Okmulgee, Okla., to Robert Neill Moore Jr. and Maggie Mae Hurd Moore.

She was a service writer for Bob Maloney Ford.

Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law, Tracy Paeschke Witt and Ronald David Witt of Lone Tree, Colo., and Tiffany Paeschke of Charleston, S. C.; her former husband, Ward Paeschke of Fort Smith, Ark.; her mother, Maggie Mae Moore of Carnegie, Okla.; and two sisters, Patricia Allen of Fairfax, Va., and Pamela Johnson of Albuquerque, N. M.

Viewing will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, March 4, at Benton County Funeral Home of Rogers, Ark. Graveside funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 5, at the Benton County Memorial Park in Rogers with the Rev. Norman Hamby.

Carlton D. Brown

Carlton D. Brown, 74, of Biloxi, Miss., formerly of Rogers, Ark., died Thursday, March 3, 2005, at his home in the Seashore Retirement Community. He was born Aug. 31, 1930, in Mountain Valley, Ark., to Andy Brown and Janice Brown. He was a Korean War veteran and served as a military policeman for four years in Germany. He was a retired master sergeant in the Arkansas Air National Guard, having served with the 188 th Tactical Fighter Group. He was a motorcycle policeman in Hot Springs, Ark., then served with the Arkansas State Police, then was chief of police in Rogers, Ark. He retired as general manager of the Alarm Specialists Division of Wal-Mart Stores Inc. in Bentonville, Ark. In retirement, he served as a U.S. marshal and on the board of directors of the Seashore Retirement Community. He was a licensed pilot, a champion pistol marksman and a Master Mason. He was a member of the J. T. Leggett Memorial United Methodist Church in Biloxi and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He participated in every yearly Cruising the Coast in his 1966 Ford Country Wagon.

He was preceded in death by a son, Verlin Dale Brown; two brothers, Gerald Brown and Jack Brown; and an infant sister, Rose Brown.

Survivors include his wife, Ramona Brown; a daughter and son-in-law, Tammy Watson and Stanley Watson of Gautier, Miss.; two brothers, Kenneth Brown and Donald Brown, and three sisters-in-law, Dean Brown, Nell Brown and Pat Brown, all of Arkansas; and an uncle, Leonard Brown and his wife Frances Brown of Richmond, Va.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 5, at the J. T. Leggett Memorial United Methodist Church in Biloxi, Miss.

According to his wishes, in lieu of graveside services, his remains will be donated to the University of Mississippi Medical Center Body Donation Program in efforts to help in the search for a cure for cancer. Flowers or memorials may be sent to the J. T. Leggett Memorial United Methodist Church, 1410 Beach Blvd., Biloxi, Miss.

Samuel Dewayne Creason

Samuel Dewayne Creason, 32, of Rogers, Ark., died Thursday, March 3, 2005, in Rogers. He was born Oct. 11, 1972, in Sapulpa, Okla., to James Creason and Deborah Walters Creason.

He was a self-employed concrete contractor. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Rogers.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Creason.

Survivors include his wife, Heather Joanne Hunter Creason; a son, Joshua Hunter Creason of the home; his mother and stepfather, Deborah Triplett and Carlos Triplett of Glenpool, Okla.; three brothers, Jeffery Creason and Clayton Walters, both of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Gary Kincaid of Sapulpa, Okla.; a sister, Carla Triplett of Sapulpa; and his grandmother, Lucille Walters of Glenpool. Graveside funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 8, at the Ketchum Cemetery in Ketchum, Okla. Local arrangements are by Benton County Funeral Home of Rogers. Oklahoma arrangements are by Turner Funeral Home of Langley, Okla.

Jack Jesse Brumett

Jack Jesse Brumett, 90, of Siloam Springs, Ark., died Thursday, March 3, 2005, at Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital. He was born March 13, 1914, in Sasakwa, Okla., to J. E. Brumett and Rose Holton Brumett.

He lived most of his life in northeast Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas. He was a World War II veteran, serving in the U.S. Navy, where he was the ship cook and a Golden Gloves boxer. He marriage De Etta Tourtillott on Sept. 13, 1951. He worked for the Kansas (Okla.) Public Schools as head custodian and bus driver. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Kansas, Okla.

He was preceded in death by 11 siblings, including a twin sister. Survivors include his wife of more than 50 years, De Brumett; two sons, James Robert Stacks of Kansas, Okla., and Ronnie Stacks of Watts, Okla.; three daughters, Debbie Phipps of Kansas, Okla., Teresa Brunner of Tulsa, Okla., and Pam Berlin of Siloam Springs; a sister, Helen Ashurst of Wagoner, Okla.; 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 5, at the New Kansas High School Gym in Kansas, Okla., with the Rev. Utah Humphrey. Burial will be at the Kansas Cemetery in Kansas, Okla. Arrangements are by Wasson Funeral Home of Siloam Springs.

Andrew "Jack" Janes

Andrew "Jack" Janes, 72, of Watts, Okla., died Wednesday, March 2, 2005, at his home. He was born May 15, 1932, in Adair County, Okla., to Andrew Janes and Olive Hewes Janes.

He was a self-employed carpenter and a Korean War veteran, serving in the U.S. Army.

He was preceded in death by five brothers, Dan Janes, Dean Janes, Hugh Janes, James Janes and Richard Janes; and a sister, Julie Janes.

Survivors include a daughter, Rhonda White of Garfield, Ark.; a grandson, Jarrett Curtsinger of Prairie Grove, Ark.; two brothers, J. C. Janes of Sacramento, Calif., and Charlie Janes of Watts, Okla.; four sisters, Willie Kreig of Phoenix, Ariz., and Altie Rosebeary, Juanita Reese and Mary Cox, all of Watts; a sister-in-law, Sue Janes of Disney, Okla.; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, March 4, at Wasson Funeral Home of Siloam Springs, Ark.

Graveside funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 5, at the Baptist Mission Cemetery near Westville, Okla., with Jim Beavers.

Wanda Gean Edens

Wanda Gean Edens, 73, of Bentonville, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, March 2, 2005, at her home of 28 years. She was born March 19, 1931, in Rock Springs, Arkansas, to Tr o y Lynville and Lizzie Mae Schrand House.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Marvin Clem Edens, of 58 years; her parents; one brother, James Edward House; one sister, Mollie Ellen House Horton; and one son, Robert Dale Edens.

She is survived by one son, Sammy Dwayne Edens of Bentonville, Arkansas; one brother, Carroll Glen House of Marshall, Arkansas; one granddaughter, Misty Dawn Edens of Westville, Oklahoma; one grandson, Jonathan Russell Edens of Bentonville, Arkansas; five great-grandchildren, Dylan Robert Edens, Quinton Allen Edens, Alex Ray Edens, Jordan Wesley Dwayne Edens, and Jonathan Russell Edens, Jr.

She was saved when she was 10 years old and baptized by Brother Paul Jones. She belonged to the Freewill Baptist Church in Bentonville, Arkansas. She was a homemaker, loved to fish and spend lots of time with her family and friends. Gean worked in restaurants for 41 years and she considered the friends she met and loved her flower garden. She told her niece that she had more flowers than anyone in Bentonville.

She left a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and god-children that she loved dearly.

A visitation will be held Friday, March 4, 2005, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Callison-Lough Funeral Home in Bentonville, Arkansas. Services will be held Saturday, March 5, 2005, at 10:00 a.m. at the Callison-Lough Chapel in Bentonville, Arkansas, with Brother Billy Joe Reid of Marshall, Arkansas, officiating. Music will be presented by Jodie Taylor, Christy Jennings, Misty Webb, and Bobby Don and Shirley Lemmons.

Pallbearers will be Jerry Horton, Larry House, David Tankersley, Alvin House, George Allen Penny, and Bill Caughron.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Redman, Powell Byers, and Steve Liles.

Burial and final resting place will follow at the Bentonville Cemetery in Bentonville, Arkansas.

Arrangements provided by Callison-Lough Funeral Service of Bentonville, Arkansas.

Donald Weigel

Donald Weigel, 62, of Bella Vista, Ark., formerly of Guthrie Center, Iowa, died Sunday, Feb. 13, 2005, at his home. He was born Sept. 2, 1942, in Carroll, Iowa, to Lloyd Weigel and Mary Ellen Gilson Weigel. He marriage Evelyn Ayers on Jan. 24, 1965, in Ravenwood, Mo. He was a graduate of Northwest Missouri State College. He was a branch manager for Hudson Foods in Rogers, Ark. He was a member of American Legion Post 341 of Bella Vista. He was an avid fisherman and an accomplished craftsman, and enjoyed the outdoors and working with wood.

Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Weigel; three sons and daughters-in-law, Tim Weigel and Chris Weigel of Orlando, Fla., Kris Weigel and Melissa Weigel of Centerton, Ark., and Clint Weigel and Marla Weigel of Fayetteville, Ark.; three brothers, Lester Weigel of Martinsville, Mo., Lyle Weigel of Guthrie Center, Iowa, and Sam Weigel of Harlan, Iowa; and a granddaughter, Madeline "Maddie" Weigel of Centerton. Funeral services were held Thursday, Feb. 17, at Roberson Funeral Home of Bethany, Mo.

Burial was at the Weaver Chapel Cemetery in Hatfield, Mo. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, in care of Roberson Funeral Home, P. O. Box 46, Bethany, MO 64424.

Lola Londagin Kaiser

Lola Londagin Kaiser, 84, of Bentonville, Ark., died Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2005, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rogers, Ark. She was born Feb. 20, 1921, in McLean, Texas, to James Hunter and Ollie Swink Hunter.

She marriage Luther Londagin on Dec. 24, 1937. She moved to the area in 1989 from Glendora, Calif. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Rogers and was active in her Sunday school class. She enjoyed gardening and working in the yard.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Luther Londagin, in 1955; six brothers; and three sisters.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Zack Willard Londagin and Sonia Londagin of Bentonville, and Wendell Londagin and Sally Londagin of Anderson, Mo.; a daughter and son-in-law, Glenda Gano and Dr. Walt Gano of Glendora, Calif.; a sister, Ida Jackson of Adair, Okla.; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 24, at Callison-Lough Funeral Home of Bentonville. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 25, at the Callison-Lough Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Pat Jeffers. Burial will be at the Falling Springs Cemetery in Decatur, Ark. Pallbearers will be Brad Lett, Raymond Londagin, Danny Amos, L. B. Amos, Doc Amos and I. D. Amos.
