Minnie "Bernice" Rudd
Minnie "Bernice" Rudd, 45, of Cherokee Village, Ark., formerly of Bentonville, Ark., died Saturday, March 18, 2006, in Fulton County, Ark., as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was born Aug. 21, 1960, in Hayti, Mo., to Tendel Junior and Ellie Junior.
She marriage Roy D. Rudd on June 16, 1975, in Double Springs, Ala. She worked for the Wal-Mart Home Office in Bentonville for seven years. She was a member of the Church of God. She enjoyed music, reading science fiction novels, watching movies, playing word games, putting puzzles together and playing computer games. She also enjoyed animals, especially her dog, Shelly.
She was preceded in death by a son, James Daniel Rudd, on Oct. 29, 2003; her parents, Tendel and Ellie Junior; and four brothers.
Survivors include her husband, Roy D. Rudd; a daughter, Charity Rudd of Ash Flat, Ark.; a son, Michael Rudd of Centerton, Ark.; a brother, Jimmy Junior of Phil Campbell, Ala.; five sisters, Faye McBroom of Natural Bridges, Ala., Hazel Kelley and Connie Dye, both of Haleyville, Ala., Linda Smith of Rogers, Ark., and Patricia Junior of Cullman, Ala.; and five grandchildren, Taylor Haines, Joshua Rudd, Preston King, Jessica King and Shiloh King.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 22, at Rollins Funeral Home of Rogers, Ark.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 23, at the Rollins Funeral Chapel with Brother Cecil Suggs and Sister Shirley Ford.
Burial will be at the Bentonville Cemetery in Bentonville, Ark.

Ruth Morris, 88, of Grayson, Ky., formerly of Rogers, Ark., died Monday, March 20, 2006, in Kentucky.

Mae Louise Bealmer
Mae Louise Bealmer, 100, of Rogers, Ark., died Sunday, March 19, 2006, in Rogers. She was born May 23, 1905, in Webster City, Iowa, to Gill Hanken and Mary Lachmiller Hanken.
She was raised and educated in Webster City, graduating with the class of 1922. She marriage Wayne Bealmer on Dec. 31, 1933, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Webster City. The couple lived in Webster City, then moved to Woolstock, Iowa, in 1936. In 1954, they purchased the Woolstock Grocery Store, which they operated for 10 years. She was baptized and confirmed as a Lutheran and was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Woolstock. She had lived in Arkansas since 1986 and attended Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Rogers.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Bealmer, on Aug. 30, 1964; a granddaughter, Amy Louise Hartwig; and three sisters, Helen Wurch, Hulda Garth and Gertrude Johnson.
Survivors include a daughter, Mary Hartwig of Rogers; a brother, Gerald Hanken of Webster City, Iowa; a grandson, Michael Hartwig and his wife Debi Hartwig of Bella Vista, Ark.; two great-grandchildren, Lauren Hartwig and Miles Hartwig, both of Bella Vista; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, March 23, at Callison-Lough Funeral Home of Rogers.
Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. Thursday, March 23, at the Callison-Lough Chapel.
Burial will be held at a later date at the Graceland Cemetery in Webster City, Iowa.

Tommy B. Young
Tommy B. Young, 80, of Rogers, Ark., died Monday, March 20, 2006, at Earlene Howard Hospice House in Springdale, Ark. He was born Oct. 7, 1925, in Westminster, Texas, to Marion John Young and Ella Mae Bunch Young.
He was a World War II veteran, serving in the U.S. Navy. He marriage Esther W. Kahlstrom on Feb. 19, 1965. He moved to Rogers from Tulsa, Okla., in 1978. He was a commercial and industrial paint contractor. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge for 48 years and a past member of Pea Ridge Masonic Lodge 119. He was also a Shriner clown for many years.
Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Esther Young; a daughter and son-in-law, Kim Reeder and Randy Reeder of San Antonio, Texas; six sons and four daughters-in-law, Larry Young and Joane Young, and Rick Young and Marla Young, all of College Station, Texas, Barry Young and Janet Young of Sugarland, Texas, John Welch and Elaine Welch of Lawton, Okla., Wynn Young of Arlington, Wash., and Shawn Young of Chicago, Ill.; 15 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, March 23, at the Sisco Funeral Home Chapel in Pea Ridge, Ark., with Masonic rites provided by Pea Ridge Masonic Lodge 119.
Burial will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, March 25, at the Bells North Cemetery in Bells, Texas.
Cremation arrangements are by Sisco Funeral Home of Pea Ridge.

Margaret Elizabeth Lindsey Mann
Margaret Elizabeth Lindsey Mann. "Peggy" peacefully left this earth and went to live, sing and dance with the angels of heaven on Tuesday, March 21, 2006. She joined her husband, Mouzon Mann, and her mother and father, Leslie and Margaret Lindsey. She leaves behind a son and daughter-in-law, Byron Wesley and Janice Mann; a daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca and Steven Garrison; grandchildren, Randall Wesley Mann and his wife Susan, Angela Michelle Mann, Steven Robert Garrison and Andrew Dean Garrison; two great-grandchildren, Lauryn and Haleigh Mann. Her life is celebrated and remembered by many family members, including her beloved cousin, "Cuz" Lindsey Crump and many Mc Michaels from DeKalb, her extended family of Ministers and faithful members of churches served by Mouzon and her many friends in the Mexican-American community of Northwest Arkansas. Peggy worked tirelessly helping those who came to make a new life as Americans. She was a teacher and translator in the schools and churches and community centers.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Bentonville. She was a charter member of the Bethel Church of Rogers, a Hispanic congregation. Her gentle spirit and compassionate heart will be missed.
Funeral service is March 23, 2006, Thursday, 2:00 p.m. at Bates-Rolf Chapel in DeKalb, Texas. Officiating will be Rev. Steve Mc Michael with interment at Woodmen Cemetery in DeKalb. Visitation will be Thursday from 1 - 2 p.m. at the Funeral Home, under direction of Bates-Rolf Funeral Home-DeKalb, Texas.

Rickey Duaine Downs Sr.
Rickey Duaine Downs Sr., 51, of Bentonville, Ark., died Sunday, April 2, 2006, at a Bentonville hospital. He was born April 24, 1954, in Big Flat, Ark., to John Downs and Lola Sutterfield Downs. He was reared and educated in Big Flat. He marriage Charlene Jackson on Oct. 28, 1971, in Fifty-six, Ark. He worked as an auto mechanic for more than 30 years. At the time of his death, he was employed with the Bentonville School System in the bus shop. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, NASCAR racing, basketball and wrestling.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Lola Downs; and a sister, Nadean Williams.
Survivors include his wife, Charlene Downs; a daughter, Trina Swadley of Bentonville; a son and daughter-in-law, Rick Downs Jr. and Michelle Downs of Little Flock, Ark.; two sisters, Joyce Morrison of Marshall, Ark., and Lois Sisk of Big Flat, Ark.; three brothers, Clifton Downs of Fifty-six, Ark., Charles Downs of Gassville, Ark., and Clifford Downs of Centerton, Ark.; four grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Graveside funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 5, at the Bentonville Cemetery.

Naoma Ruth Ferrel Tucker
Naoma Ruth Ferrel Tucker, 74, of Siloam Springs, Ark., died Monday, April 3, 2006, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, Ark. She was born Sept. 3, 1931, in Gravette, Ark., to Jessie A. Ferrel and Rose Replogle Ferrel.
She marriage Ray J. "Cotton" Tucker on Nov. 12, 1950. She had lived in Siloam Springs since 1970, and most recently at the Rocking Chair Inn in Springdale, Ark.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cotton Tucker, on Oct. 26, 2002.
Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law, Linda Melton and James Melton of Naples, Fla., and Tammy Tucker of Minneapolis, Minn.; two sisters, Louise Peek of Spartenburg, S. C., and Rosa Lena Croft of Hannibal, Mo.; a brother, Paul Ferrel of Jefferson City, Mo.; four grandchildren, Ryan Russell of Fayetteville, Ark., Reagan Russell of Alma, Ark., Mindy Yarnell of Joplin, Mo., and Neela Hammer of Minneapolis; and a great-granddaughter, Presley Russell of Alma.
Graveside funeral services will be at 4 p.m. Friday, April 7, at the Maysville Cemetery in Maysville, Ark., with the Rev Raymond Scott.

Gene Presley White
Gene Presley White, 81, of Siloam Springs, Ark., died Monday, April 3, 2006, at his home. He was born Aug. 25, 1924, in Topeka, Kan., to Ray Presley White and Thelma Day White.
He graduated from the University of Kansas with a degree in architectural engineering. He marriage Karen St. John on April 18, 1980, in Las Vegas, Nev. He was an independent insurance agent for 53 years in Emporia, Kan. He was a member of Phi Delta Theta fraternity and was instrumental in establishing a chapter house on the Emporia State University campus. He was previously an Emporia Gazette "Man of the Week" for his contributions to the Emporia community. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II.
He was instrumental in establishing the United Way in Emporia and was its first drive chairman. He started the Emporia Kids Wrestling program, was a member of the Lions Club, served as an active member of the Emporia Country Club, was an Eagle Scout and was an avid golfer and card player.
Survivors include his wife, Karen White; two sons, Gene Presley White Jr. of Parker, Colo., and Douglas W. White of Emporia, Kan.; three daughters, Jettie McCall of Topeka, Kan., Elizabeth Blume of Overland Park, Kan., and Cassie Roth of Minneapolis, Kan.; a brother, Dean White of Topeka; 16 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 5, at Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home of Siloam Springs. Cremation arrangements are by Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home.
