Linda K. Hayden
Linda K. Hayden, 56, of Rogers, Ark., died Tuesday, April 19, 2005, in Rogers. She was born Jan. 18, 1949, in Lawton, Okla., to Clyde Sang and Wilma Speck Sang.
She graduated from Oak Harbor (Wash.) High School. She was an administrator's assistant to the vice president for learning at Northwest Arkansas Community College in Bentonville, Ark. She joined the staff on April 18, 1994. She enjoyed arts and crafts and flower gardening.
Survivors include her husband, Leonard L. Hayden; two sons and daughters-in-law, Brian Hayden and Kathrin Hayden of Frisco, Texas, and Kevin Hayden and Andrea Hayden of Bentonville, Ark.; her parents, Clyde and Wilma Sang of Fayetteville, Ark.; and a granddaughter, Victoria Hayden of Frisco.
Memorials may be made to a scholarship fund established in her memory at Northwest Arkansas Community College, in care of the Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. Fourth St., Rogers, AR 72756.
Lori Denise Husky
Lori Denise Husky, 36, of Exeter, Mo., died Wednesday, April 20, 2005, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, Ark. She was born Aug. 29, 1968, in Stuttgart, Germany, to Larry Bobbitt and Novella Vigil Bobbitt.
She was employed as an order filler with Wal-Mart. She marriage Frank Husky in October 2003 in Exeter. She was a Girl Scout troop leader. She attended the Assembly of God Church in Cassville, Mo.
Funeral services were held Monday, April 25, at the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home Chapel in Bentonville, Ark., with John Baker. Burial was at the Benton County Memorial Park in Rogers, Ark.
Frank W. Mann
Frank W. Mann, 91, of Rogers, Ark., died Tuesday, April 19, 2005, at Bradford House. He was born Aug. 16, 1913, in Independence, Kan., to Claude Mann and Zona Ryder Mann.
He was a longtime resident of the area. He marriage Georgia Snoderly. He retired from Daisy Manufacturing after 23 years and was known as "Whistling Frank." He also worked as a farmer all his life. He was a member and charter deacon of the Freedom Freewill Baptist Church in Garfield, Ark., and a member of the Pea Ridge Masonic Lodge and the Northwest Arkansas Fox Hunters Association. He enjoyed singing gospel bass.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Georgia Mann, in August 1984.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth Mann and Carolyn Mann of Garfield, Ark.; a daughter and son-in-law, Peggy Houpt and Gary Houpt of Garfield; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Hollis D. Merrick
Hollis D. Merrick, 86, of Rogers, Ark., died Wednesday, April 20, 2005, at St. Mary's Hospital in Rogers. He was born Sept. 26, 1918, in Dougherty, Iowa, to Hubert Merrick and Ora Riggins Merrick.
He marriage Lucile Arthur Merrick on Nov. 24, 1942, in Niagara Falls, N. Y. He moved to the area in 1979. He worked as a design engineer for Oliver Tractor Manufacturing. He was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran, serving in the Pacific Theater in World War II, including Iwo Jima. He was a member of the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), the Cornerstone Masonic Lodge in Marble Rock, Iowa, and American Legion Post 774 in Charles City, Iowa. He was a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity, Meals on Wheels and the High School Career Counseling Services. He enjoyed woodcarving, reading and gardening.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Merlin Merrick.
Survivors include his wife, Lucile Merrick; two daughters, Nanette L. Sturgill of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Jean A. Merrick-Mack of West Chester, Ohio; a brother, Charles Merrick of Phoenix, Ariz.; a sister, Marjorie Lockhart of Charles City, Iowa; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held Saturday, April 23, at the First Christian Church in Rogers with the Rev. Chris Pulliam. Cremation arrangements were by Callison-Lough Funeral Service of Rogers.
Geraldine Phillips
Geraldine Phillips, 81, of Rogers, Ark., died Saturday, April 16, 2005, at Heritage Park Nursing Center in Rogers. She was born Feb. 4, 1924, in Rockwell City, Iowa, to Myrel Finn and Edna Ballard Finn.
She moved to Rogers five years ago from Anaheim, Calif. She worked as a mortgage closer for a real estate company.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Tindall.
Survivors include a daughter, Tony Williamson of Independence, Mo.; and a sister, Bonnie Dietrick of Bentonville, Ark.
No service is planned at this time. Cremation arrangements were by Callison-Lough Funeral Service of Bentonville, Ark.
Sharon L. Ridley
Sharon L. Ridley, 52, of Fayetteville, Ark., died Sunday, April 17, 2005, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville. She was born Sept. 27, 1952, in Springdale, Ark., to Everett Meadors and Roylene Hunt Meadors.
Survivors include her husband, Ronnie Ridley; a son, Steven Ridley of Springdale, Ark.; a daughter, Rhonda Renee Wieland of Wagoner, Okla.; her mother, Roylene Meadors of Elm Springs, Ark.; two brothers, Danny Ray Meadors of Elm Springs and Everett Meadors of Lowell, Ark.; and three grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services were held Saturday, April 23, at the Baptist Ford Cemetery in Greenland, Ark., with Brandon Champagne.
Wayne Allen Rogers
Wayne Allen Rogers, 69, of Scurry, Texas, died Saturday, April 16, 2005. He was born Nov. 29, 1935, in Noel, Mo., to Shirley Ray Rogers and Pearl Rogers.
He lived most of his life in the Fresno, Calif., area, where he was a business owner and an accomplished mechanic.
Burial was at Noel, Mo. Cremation arrangements were by the Benton County Funeral Home of Rogers, Ark.

Robert 'Bob' Edward Schultz
Robert "Bob" Edward Schultz, 62, of Rogers, Ark., died Thursday, April 21, 2005 in Guy, Ark. He was born March 19, 1943, in Muskeon, Mich. to Edward Fredrick Schultz and Alice May Schultz.
He was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Rogers. He was also a member of the Pontiac Club in Rogers. He had lived in Northwest Arkansas since 1990 after moving to the area from Guy. He graduated from Farris University in Michigan, obtaining a business degree. He enjoyed the outdoors, yard sales and collecting antiques.
A memorial service was held Monday, April 25, at Stockdale Funeral Services of Rogers with the Rev. Sandra Wanasek. Cremation arrangements were by Stockdale Funeral Services of Rogers.
Beatrice A. Scott
Beatrice A. Scott, 89, of Rogers, Ark., died Thursday, April 21, 2005, at a local nursing home. She was born March 27, 1916, in Comanche City, Okla., to James Thomas Hawkins and Carolyn Allen Hawkins.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed playing the piano and singing.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sharon Hill; and a sister, Helen Craig.
Graveside services were held Monday, April 25 at Rogers City Cemetery with Cal Stewart. Arrangements were by the Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers.
J.W. 'Wash' Waldrop
J.W. "Wash" Waldrop, 82, of Rogers, Ark., died Thursday, April 21, 2005, at St. Mary's Hospital in Rogers. He was born July 1, 1922, in Eureka Springs, Ark., to A.K. Waldrop and Permitta Johnson Waldrop.
He marriage Fanny Usrey. He worked in the electrical manufacturing industry. He was a member of the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930s. He was an avid fisherman.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Fanny Waldrop, in 1980.
Survivors include two sons, Lonnie Waldrop and Carl Waldrop, both of Rogers; two daughters, Winnie Mahurin and Phyllis Waldrop, both of Kingston, Ark.; five brothers, Marion Waldrop of Lincoln, Ark., James Waldrop and Otis Waldrop, both of Fort Worth, Texas, Virgil Waldrop of Rudd, Ark., and Junior Waldrop of Berryville, Ark.; a sister, Annie Fultz of Rudd, Ark.; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Dorothy Williams
Dorothy Williams, 94, of Rogers, Ark., died Monday, April 18, 2005, at a local health-care facility. She was born Jan. 30, 1911, in Brunswick, Mo., to Charles Arbogast and Katherine Pemberton Arbogast.
She was employed by Nelly Dawn Manufacturing, where she was a seamstress. She moved to northwest Arkansas in 1980 from Shawnee Mission, Kan., and was a member of the First Christian Church of Bentonville, Ark. She enjoyed plants, flowers and all types of needlework.
She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Charles E. Williams; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Betty Petty and Calvin K. Petty of Bentonville, Ark., Patricia Stanton and Tracy Stanton of Columbus, Ohio, and Beverly Boswell of Kansas City, Mo.; nine grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Lillian Bates Wilmoth
Lillian Bates Wilmoth, 88, of Gravette, Ark., died Sunday, April 17, 2005, at her home. She was born Feb. 20, 1917, in Tulsa, Okla., to Jackson Bates and Golda Raye Holloway Bates.
She attended school in Hiwasse, Ark. She was a homemaker and worked with her husband, James Earl Wilmoth, on the couple's farm. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Gravette. She enjoyed all sports and watching her children participate in sporting events and other activities.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, James Earl Wilmoth, in 1999.
Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Alice DelVecchio and Don DelVecchio of Pleasanton, Calif., and Earline Baker and Earl Baker of Oklahoma City, Okla.; two sons and daughters-in-law, Larry Wilmoth and Evelyn Wilmoth of Gravette, and Jim Wilmoth and Delores Wilmoth of Waldron, Ark.; a sister, Wanda Austin of Decatur, Ark.; a brother and sister-in-law, J.D. Bates and Iris Bates of Springdale, Ark.; a brother-in-law, James "Bunny" Evans of Gravette; two sisters-in-law, Audrey Austin of Bentonville, Ark., and Odessa Wilmoth of Rogers, Ark.; 11 grandchildren, Linda Burns, Scott Baker, Linda Cooper, Donna Henninger, Suzanna Lykins, Robin Hall, Scottie Klentz, Jimmy Wilmoth, Traci Brown, J.D. Newberry and Nancy Owens; 24 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Friday, April 22, at the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Sam Moore and the Rev. J.D. Arnold. Burial was at the Mount Pleasant Cemetery near Hiwasse, Ark. Arrangements were by Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home of Siloam Springs, Ark.
