Edwin E. Breaux
Edwin E. Breaux, 71, of Rogers, Ark., died Feb. 10, 2006, at his home after an extended illness. He was born Dec. 11, 1934, in Abliene, Texas, to Frank Breaux and Gladys Lewis Breaux. For 36 years he traveled border to border in Texas as a marketing representative for an insurance company and as an instructor of continuing-education classes for the state insurance association. Following his retirement he had worked with Aspire Gymnastics and Dance facility, owned by his daughters.
Survivors include wife Janice Breaux; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Cne Breaux of Rogers, Ark., DeeDee Pierson and Chris Pierson of Omaha, Neb., and Angela Foster and Glen Foster of Bella Vista, Ark.; one son and daughter-in-law, Von Breaux and Darleen Breaux of Austin, Texas; eight grandchildren, Jessica Pierson, Ryan Looney, C. J. Pierson, Sarah Pierson, Taylor Foster, Joshua Foster, Hannah Foster and Daniel Cabal.
Funeral services were held Feb. 13 at the Bentonville Church of Christ with Chris Pierson, Glen Foster, Walton Hook and Dean Bryce.
A private graveside and burial services was held Feb. 14.
Arrangements were under the direction of Callison-Lough Funeral Home in Bentonville.
Albert Leroy Fox
Albert Leroy Fox, 68, of Bella Vista, Ark., died Feb. 9, 2006, at his home. He was born Dec. 22, 1937, in Kremmling, Colo., to Albert Fox and Nora Brown Fox. He was raised and educated in Colorado. He marriage Karen Armstrong on April 16, 1960, in Greeley, Colo. He was a partner in the Fox Center, a grocery and liquor store, in Breckenridge, Colo.; and the Hickory Creek Marina at Beaver Lake, Ark. He was later a partner of A&J; Propane in Bella Vista. He was an avid golfer, hunter and fisherman. Survivors include his wife, Karen Fox; two sons and daughters-in-law, Dwayne Fox and Rena Fox of Waco, Texas, Daryn Fox and Wendy Fox of Bentonville, Ark.; two brothers, Robert Fox of Loveland, Colo., and David Fox of Bonners Ferry, Idaho; a sister and brother-in-law, Betty Jane Browning and Keith Browning of Bonners Ferry; and three grandchildren, Taylor, Sydney and Grant. Marchant Wanda Mae Marchant, 84, of Cave Springs, Ark., died Feb. 10, 2006, at her home. She was born Nov. 6, 1921, in Jenks, Okla., to Curtis Lackey and Edith Mae Grimmitt Lackey.
She was a homemaker and a member of Lowell Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading, painting and doing crosswords.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Marchant; and a son, Stephen Marchant.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Gary Marchant and Lena Kay Marchant of Rogers, Ark.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Willa Dean Loyd and Bob Loyd of Bella Vista, Ark., and Sue Holly and Bob Holly of Hiwasse, Ark.; three brothers, Duane Lackey of Flippin, Ark., Kenneth Lackey of Cotter, Ark., and Dale Lackey of Arthur City, Texas; one sister, Judy Henley of Fayetteville, Ark.; 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Feb. 14 at Rollins Funeral Chapel in Rogers with Bro. Johnny Harp. Burial followed at Elm Springs Cemetery in Elm Springs, Ark.
Pallbearers were Kent Novak, Steve Marchant, Jack Loyd, Rob Holly, Lance Holly, Barry Dunlap, Drew Rosser and Justin Novak.

Dora Jo D. J. Monnett
Dora Jo "D. J." Monnett, 83, of Bella Vista, Ark., died Feb. 3, 2006. She was born April 6, 1922, in Yale, Okla., to Loyd Melvin Cable and Blon Galyon Cable.
She graduated from Yale High School in 1940. In 1942, she received an associate s degree in business management from Oklahoma State University.
Prior to moving to Bella Vista in 1993, she had lived in Shawnee Mission, Kan., for 28 years. She retired in 1987 after 21 years as financial manager and associate administrator to the director of broadcasting at KCUR FM, a public radio station owned and operated by the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Susan Moulton Drummond; a son, Kevin Paul Moulton; and a sister, La Nora Paschall.
No services were planned.
Cremation arrangements were by Callison-Lough Funeral Home of Bentonville, Ark.
Cornelia Henry Fitzgerald Pickens
Cornelia Henry Fitzgerald Pickens, 91, of Rogers, Ark., died Feb. 8, 2006, in Rogers. She was born Aug. 6, 1914, in Bentonville, Ark., to Dr. Richard T. Henry and Ethel Howard Henry. Her family moved to Springdale, Ark., when she was 4 weeks old. She attended Springdale public schools, graduating in 1933, then entered the University of Arkansas where she was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority. While at the U of A, she won the Springdale Smile Girl contest, then participated in the Ozark Smile Girl competition in Joplin, Mo.
She marriage Truman O. Fitzgerald in 1937, and the couple lived in Fayetteville, Ark. In 1946, the family moved to Springdale, then in 1949 to Rogers, where she lived until her death. She was employed for many years by Dr. Lee Dean, then by Dr. James L. Pickens. She was also the first social worker at St. Mary s Hospital in Rogers. She was a lifelong member of the Methodist Church and was active in the New Life Sunday school class, Logos, the Dorcas Circle and Christmas Crafts at Central United Methodist Church in Rogers. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi and enjoyed playing bridge and golf.
After the death of her husband, Truman Fitzgerald, she lived at the Innisfree Senior Center until her marriage to Dr. James L. Pickens in 1999. He preceded her in death in 2003.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Dr. Howard Henry and Richard Henry.
Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law, Sharon Mallory and Phil Mallory of Round Rock, Texas, and Martha Watson of Rogers; five grandchildren, Paige Douthit of Bethesda, Md., Janet Mountain of Austin, Texas, Philip F. Mallory of Round Rock, Karen Singleton of Bella Vista, Ark., and B. J. Watson of Rogers; 10 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Feb. 11 at Central United Methodist Church in Rogers. Burial was at the Benton County Memorial Park in Rogers. Pallbearers were be B. J. Watson, George Blue, Philip F. Mallory, Philip H. Mallory, Wes Harold and Ray Sanford. Memorials may be made to Central United Methodist Church in Rogers.
Edna M. Wiseley
Edna M. Wiseley, 75, of Bella Vista, Ark., died Feb. 9, 2006, at Springdale Regency Hospital in Springdale, Ark. She was born Sept. 5, 1920, in Wheeler, Ill., to Rawleigh Brown and Lora Brown. She marriage William Wiseley on April 9, 1948. She retired from Sunstrand after 18 years as a timekeeper. After retiring in 1986, she and her husband moved to Bella Vista. She was active in her church and was leader of the prayer chain for 15 years. She enjoyed caring for her pet, Cuddles.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Wiseley, on Sept. 8, 1993.
Survivors include three sisters and a brother-in-law, Agnes Bowie and Herbert Bowie, and Lorane Eaton, all of Rockford, Ill., and Louise Jourdan of Farmington, N. M.; two friends, Patsy Burress and Inga Yount; seven nieces; and two nephews.
Funeral services were held Feb. 12 at the Bella Vista Funeral Home Chapel.

Lillian Dueker
Lillian Dueker, 104, of Bella Vista, Ark., died Feb. 17, 2006, at Highland Health Care in Bella Vista. She was born June 18, 1901, in St. Louis County, Mo., to Adolph Jilg and Anna Jilg. She moved to Bella Vista in November 1991 from Fort Dodge, Iowa. She as a member of the Bella Vista Lutheran Church. She was active in Lutheran churches, having taught Sunday school, Vacation Bible School and sang in the choir. During World War II, she was active by giving blood, rolling bandages and mothering soldiers.
She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Harold E. Dueker in 1955, one grandchild, seven brothers and a sister.
Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Harriet Mueller and Carl Mueller of Bella Vista, Ark., and Esther Trahms and the Rev. Vern Trahms of Sun City West, Ariz.; a sister, Anna Koslowski of Holyoke, Colo.; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 22, at the Bella Vista Lutheran Church. Burial will be at Fort Dodge, Iowa. Arrangements are by the Bella Vista Funeral Home and Crematory.
LaVon Iona Graham
LaVon Iona Graham, 86, of Bella Vista, Ark., died Feb. 16, 2006, at Northwest Medical Center of Benton County in Bentonville, Ark. She was born April 7, 1919, in Preston, Minn., to Frank Yanzer and Mabel Halla Yanzer.
She was raised and educated in Austin, Minn. She earned a teaching degree and later a master s degree from Mankato State University. She marriage Ron Stephenson on Oct. 7, 1939, in Austin, Minn. He preceded her in death on May 25, 1985.
She taught school for 42 years and retired from teaching in the Rapid City (S. D.) Public School System in 1983. She marriage Ernest Graham on Nov. 26, 1988, at the First United Methodist Church in Bella Vista. She enjoyed flowers, gardening, dancing, golfing, playing bridge, crocheting and knitting.
She was also preceded in death by an infant son, Ronald Dale Stephenson; a granddaughter, Katy Johnson; seven brothers; and a sister.
Survivors include her husband, Ernest Graham; four sons and two daughters-in-law, Jim Stephenson and Nancy Stephenson, and Bob Stephenson, all of Rapid City, S. D., Jack Stephenson of Newcastle, Wyo., and Russ Stephenson and Barbara Stephenson of South Hadley, Mass.; six daughters and five sons-in-law, Bonnie Johnson and Dick Johnson of Litchfield, Minn., Cathy Laughlan and Peter Laughlan of Tulsa, Okla., Elaine Gould and Sam Gould of Divide, Colo., Lorinda Stofcheck and Rick Stofcheck of Bay Village, Ohio, Sandy Glasmire and Joe Glasmire of Center Valley, Pa., and Susan Watz of Colorado Springs, Colo.; a sister, Doris Kaiser of Brownsdale, Minn.; 37 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held Feb. 19 at the First United Methodist Church in Bella Vista with the Rev. Wayne Bartruff. Arrangements were by the Bella Vista Funeral Home and Crematory. Rhonda Merlene Hayes
Rhonda Merlene Hayes, 43, of Bella Vista, Ark., died Feb. 18, 2006, at the Northwest Medical Center of Benton County in Bentonville, Ark. She was born Sept. 4, 1962, in Huntsville, Ark., to Jean Edward Johnson and Nellie America Tucker Johnson.
She was a homemaker and attended school in Saint Paul, Ark. She was a member of the Bella Vista Church of Christ and the Crafty Ladies Club of Bella Vista. She enjoyed cooking, playing softball, playing and coaching volleyball and singing.
She was marriage to John Henry Hayes Jr. on June 29, 1979, at the New Home Church of Christ in Boston, Ark.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Nellie Johnson, in 1989.
Survivors include her husband, John Henry Hayes Jr.; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Cody John Hayes and Britney Hayes of Bella Vista, Ark., and Dakota James Hayes of the home; a daughter, Caitlin Mackenzie Hayes, of the home; her father and stepmother, Jean and Lorene Johnson of Huntsville, Ark.; two brothers, Larry Johnson and Jerry Johnson, both of Boston, Ark.; two sisters, Shirley Jackson of Aurora, Ark., and Marilyn Johnson of Eureka Springs, Ark.
Funeral services were held Feb. 21 at the Bella Vista Church of Christ with Randall Castleman.

Floyd Louie Jennings
Floyd Louie Jennings, 80, of Bella Vista, Ark., died Feb. 15, 2006, at Northwest Medical Center of Benton County in Bentonville, Ark. He was born July 29, 1925, in Green Forest, Ark., to Charley Anderson Jennings and Mary Frances Leach Jennings. He was the manager of a pharmacy in California for 16 years before moving to northwest Arkansas. He was a custodian for Eastside Elementary School in Rogers, Ark. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Bentonville Ward. He enjoyed dancing and playing the piano, accordion, guitar and drums.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and six sisters.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Ellen Robbins Jennings; a son and daughter-in-law, Gary Wayne Jennings and Rosalie Jennings of Rogers, Ark.; two daughters and a son-in-law, Sandra Lynn Jennings of Bentonville, Ark., and Teresa Estelle Reighman and Greg Reighman of Tehachapi, Calif.; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Feb. 17 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Bentonville Ward, with Bishop Matt Isabell.
Burial was at the Oakley Chapel Cemetery in Rogers, Ark. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Eastside Elementary School, 505 E. New Hope Road, Rogers, AR 72756.
