Dorothy Faddis Richardson
Dorothy Faddis Richardson, 82, of Decatur, died Friday, May 9, 2008, at Bentonville Manor in Bentonville. She was born Sept. 5, 1925, in Red Star, to Wesley Friend and Rebecca Collins Friend. She lived the majority of her life in Gentry and Decatur, where she was a homemaker. She was a member of the Ever Ready Educational Homemakers Club in Decatur and volunteered at the Decatur Care Store. She was affiliated with the Assembly of God Church in Decatur and the Springtown Pentecostal Church.
She was preceded in death by two husbands, William Argus Faddis and Ben Richardson.
Survivors include three sons and a daughter-in-law, William Faddis and Terry Faddis both of Gentry, and Thomas Faddis and Tess Faddis of Pineville, Mo.; four daughters and sons-in-law, Wilma Hubbard and Bob Hubbard, Andra Hecht and Darrell Hecht and Wanda Faddis, all of Decatur., and Frankie Kelley and Randy Kelley of Bella Vista; a brother, Andy Friend of Huntsville; a sister, Ipha Roberts of Rogers; 12 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were May 13, at Wasson Memorial Chapel in Siloam Springs, with Pastor Sherman Robinson officiating. Burial was at Falling Springs Cemetery in Decatur. James William 'Boy' Roberts James William "Boy "Roberts, 77, of Rogers, died Sunday, May 4, 2008. He was born April 6, 1931, in Best to Altus Earl Roberts and Nellie Mae Oxford Roberts.
He was a Freewill Baptist. He served in the U. S. Army during the Korean conflict. He was a member of the Fox Hunters Lodge and enjoyed camping and fishing.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Altus Dejarnett and Artie Kirk.
Survivors include his wife, Helen Relethford Roberts; four sons and three daughters-in-law, Jerry Roberts and Annella Roberts of Bella Vista, Larry Roberts and Lori Roberts of Springdale, Dale Hutson and Jan Hutson of Pea Ridge, and Ivan Roberts of Rogers; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were May 8, at the Bayless Cemetery in Gateway, with Brother Anthony Lane officiating.
Jane R. Crispell
Jane R. Crispell, 92, of Bella Vista, Ark., died at her home. She was born in Hartford, Conn. to A. Raymond Robertson and Pauline (Winkler) Robertson. She was raised and educated in Connecticut. Jane marriage Lawrence Crispell in Bridgeport, Conn. She enjoyed needlepoint and has a piece displayed in the Joplin, Mo., City Hall and one at Westminster College commemorating the "Iron Curtain Speech". "She also had done the "Swiss Flag "in the Rug of Nations displayed at the United Nations in New York City. She was a past president of the Missouri Medical Auxiliary and was a member of St. Theodore's Episcopal Church in Bella Vista. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Crispell; a daughter, Amelia Hawkins; grandsons, Larry and Peter; a brother, Stuart and a sister, Ann. Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law, Judy Moxon and Buz Moxon of Bella Vista; Pam Satterly of Atlanta, Ga.; seven grandchildren, and seventeen great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 8, at the Mildred B. Cooper Memorial Chapel, 504 Memorial Drive, Bella Vista. Shirley 'Shirl' Darleen Doshier
Shirley "Shirl "Darleen Doshier, 64, of Bella Vista, Ark., died Thursday, Oct. 2, 2008, at Northwest Medical Center of Benton County in Bentonville, Ark.. She was born Nov. 16, 1943, in Arkansas to Floyd Doshier and Marie Cass Doshier. She was a member of the Association of Research and Enlightenment since 1988. She worked for the Upward Bound Program at the University of Arkansas for several years. She was also a past assistant manager for Darling Properties in Fayetteville, Ark. She was an avid reader and enjoyed gardening and traveling. She had lived in the northwest Arkansas area for more than 25 years, after moving from Atlanta, Ga. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Greg Moody and Heidi Moody of Florida; Chris Moody and Nancy Moody of Prairie Grove, Ark.; a daughter, Mechelle Glass of Bentonville, Ark.; a sister, Sherry Venable of Bella Vista, and seven grandchildren. Paul William Fleming
Paul William Fleming, 78, of Bella Vista, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2008. He was born on July 30, 1930, in Omaha, Neb., to Ethel Marguerite Merritt Fleming and Paul Nelson Fleming.
Paul was raised in Omaha, where he attended Technical High School. He worked for Omaha Cold Storage until he was drafted into the Army. He was a U. S. Army Veteran of the Korean War, serving as an aviation engineer. He was a special carpenter apprentice under the G. I. Bill and was a finish carpenter for 28 years. He then worked for the Omaha Public Schools as a supervisory carpenter for 21 years.
Paul moved with his wife, Marilyn to Bella Vista in 1996 where he had been a member of FlyTyers, member of Thrivent and helped as foreman for Habitat for Humanity. He loved to fish, bowl and play cards. Paul and his wife made woodcrafts in Nebraska and were called Pa & Ma's Wood Crafts.
He marriage Marilyn Joyce Johnson on August 18, 1951.
He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Nelson Fleming and his mother Ether Marguerite Fleming.
Survivors include his wife, Marilyn Fleming of Bella Vista; two daughters, Kathleen Kay Marcey-Fleming and husband Kenneth of Hampton, Neb., Marleen Marie Griger and husband, Jeff of Rogers; six grandchildren, Lona Fleming Mason, Jesse and Dustin Fleming of Hampton, Matthew, Mark and wife Maighan and Kelleye Griger of Rogers; one great-grandson, Hunter Linn Griger and great-granddaughter, Holly Joy Griger; one sister, Carol Ann Stewart and husband, Donald of Omaha.
A memorial service was held Oct. 6 at the United Lutheran Church, with Pastor Fred Nelson and Fred Schaap officiating.

Charlene Edith Galiano
Charlene Edith Galiano, 58, of Bella Vista, died Saturday, Sept. 27, 2008, at her home. She was born on Feb. 21, 1950, in Weatherford, Texas, to John Creel and Vergil Strait Creel. She moved to Bella Vista in 2006 from Slidel, La. She was preceded in death by her father, and sister Dwenneth. She is survived by her husband, Ralph Galiano of Bella Vista; mother, Vergil Creel of Bentonville; three daughters, Alicia Galiano of Denham Springs, La., Bethany Galiano of Bella Vista, Catlin Galiano of Bella Vista; two sisters, Yvonne Perry of Bentonville, Angeline Davis of Cleveland, Texas; one grandchild Rhiannon. "Cliff "Horn, 90, of Coleman, died Sunday, Sept. 21, 2008, at his daughter's home in Bella Vista, where he had lived for the past year. He was born Dec. 9, 1917, near Winters, Texas, to Dee Burton Horn and Mattie Mayhew Horn. His father was a rancher, and the family moved several times before he completed high school in Miles, Texas. He graduated from Howard Payne in 1939, and his first positions teaching band were in Bronte, Texas, and Brownfield, Texas. When World War II arrived, he joined the U. S. Army Air Corps, serving until 1945. He was honorably discharged after serving as a gunnery and flight instructor at the Harlingen, Texas, base. After his discharge, he was offered the position of high school band director at neighboring McAllen, Texas, resuming his career teaching band. Over the years, he taught band, orchestra or chorus in Kingsville, Texas; Deer Park, Texas; and San Angelo, Texas, until his retirement in 1977. He received a master's degree from Texas A & I while teaching in Kingsville. He marriage Jacqueline Holt in 1941 in Brownfield. The couple were marriage from 1941 to 1962 and had two daughters. He marriage Ann Wilson of San Angelo in 1967. They were marriage from 1967 to 1986. After his retirement from teaching, he purchased a ranch near Glen Cove, Texas, and named it "The Hi C." He marriage V. J. Perkins Kemper in fall 1986. She preceded him in death in January 2000.
He was active in many organizations over the years, but most recently, the First United Methodist Church of Coleman, the Chancel Choir and the Chapel Sunday school class. He was active in the Coleman County Farm Bureau, the Republican Party, the Heartland Harmonizers and the Coleman Lanterns Barbershop Groups. He served on the Coleman Library Board and the Central Colorado River Authority Board, and was a member of the Texas Retired Teachers Association and Phi Beta Mu.
He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Burton Horn and James Horn; three sisters, Jewel Elizabeth, Floy Ranson and Beth Neighbors; a stepdaughter, Susan Kemper; and a son-in-law, Larry Dooley, in 2006.
Survivors include two daughters, Jacqueline Horn Dooley of Bella Vista and Barbara Ann "Bobbie "Horn of Brownfield, Texas; two stepdaughters, Judia Terry and her husband Ralph Terry of Coleman and Anita Calk and her husband Mike Calk of Silver Valley, Texas; three stepsons, Martin Kemper and his wife Dr. Karen Kemper of Waco, Texas, William "Kemp "Kemper and his wife Kaylene Kemper of Abilene, Texas, and Alan Kemper and his wife Julie Kemper of Houston, Texas; a brother, Victor Horn of Midland, Texas; five grandchildren, Cary Dooley of Edmond, Okla., Christopher Dooley, Shana Pass of Columbia, S. C., Crissie Perez, and Aaron Swan of Brownfield; and nine great-grandchildren, Allison Dooley, Ryan Dooley and Avery Kate Dooley, all of Edmond Okla., Parker Dooley and Peyton Dooley, Gwynyth Pass of Columbia, S. C., Makayla Perez, Emily Perez, and Jeremy.
A celebration of life was held Saturday, Sept. 27, at the First United Methodist Church in Coleman.
Pallbearers were Cary Dooley, Christopher Dooley, Aaron Swan, Mat Gaines, Phil Neighbors and Rob Schuppenhaur.
Local arrangements were by Epting Funeral Home of Bentonville.

Mary Margaret Kutkoski
Mary Margaret Kutkoski, 92, of Bella Vista, died Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2008 at Circle of Life Hospice House in Springdale. She was born on August 7, 1916, in Eveleth, Minn., to Frank Mayasich and Mary Pavkovich Mayasich. She marriage Anthony Kutkoski on July 22, 1938, and he preceded her in death on November 2005. She moved to Bella Vista in 2006 from Kouts, Ind. She was a member of St. Bernard's Catholic Church and also attended Bella Vista Community Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Anthony; one sister, Rose Strle; one brother, Frank Mayasich; grandson, Jeff Intihar, his wife, Kristie and great-granddaughter, Kaelyn. She is survived by two sons, John Kutkoski and wife, Marsha of Kouts, Ind.; Michael Kutkoski and wife, Jackie of North Augusta, S. C.; two daughters, Barbara Intihar and husband, Jim of Bella Vista, Beth Luksich and husband Greg of Munster, Ind.; five brothers, Joseph Mayasich and wife, Lorraine of Shore View, Minn., Edward Mayasich and wife, Jenny of Tower, Minn., Bernard Mayasich and wife, Harriet of Shore View, Minn., John Mayasich and wife, Carol of Eveleth, Minn., James Mayasich and wife, Mary Ann of Eveleth, Minn.; three sisters, Ann Daily of Hammond, Ind., Lucy Long of Roseville, Minn., Katheryn Mayasich of Eveleth, Minn.; granddaughter, Amy Intihar of Bella Vista, eight grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren. Online condolence may be made at www.funeralmation. com Paul Charles Rausch Paul Charles Rausch, 77, of Bella Vista, passed away on Monday, Sept. 29, 2008, at Mercy Health in Rogers. He was born in Mankato, Minn., on Nov. 4, 1930, to Aloyious and Margaret Kruetzer Rausch. He marriage Norma Jean Kubista on Sept. 29, 1956, at St. Anne's Catholic Church in LeSueur, Minn.
He graduated from Mankato State Teachers College in 1953 and was then employed for the next 33 years by Green Giant / Pillsbury. He held various positions with Green Giant that took the couple to Cokato, Minn., Dayton, Wash., and back to LeSueur, Minn. Thanks to Pillsbury, an early retirement came in 1986.
This idle time led him to the World Wide College of Auctioneering in Mason City, Iowa, where he completed the course and earned his auctioneering license. He also earned his realtor license in Minnesota. In 1993, Paul and Norma retired to Bella Vista.
Paul was preceded in death by brothers Robert, Luke, Richard, and sisters, Rita Alleven and Patty. Paul is survived by brothers, Ken and Mark, and sisters Shirley Kachelmyer, Martha and Mel Dressel and Mary & Larry Culligan.
Paul loved to garden and was a true master at keeping his kids busy. Paul also loved to dance and bowl. Throughout his life he was very involved with the Knights of Columbus, serving as an officer at many levels and was a 4 th degree Knight.
Paul and Norma have seven children, Mike and wife Amy of London, England, Tom and wife Brenda of Osceola, Wis., Marybeth and husband Mike Gordon of Austin, Texas, Patrick and wife Victoriana of Corvallis, Ore., Anthony and wife Sandi of Flower Mound, Texas, Greg and wife Kathleen of Fergus Falls, Minn., and Margaret and husband Chip MacElhiney of Longmeadow, Mass. They also have 19 grandchildren and one step-great granddaughter.
A mass of the resurrection was held Oct. 2 at St. Bernard Catholic Church, with Father Andy Smith officiating.
A memorial mass was held Oct. 4 at St. Anne's Catholic Church, LeSueur, Minn. Burial followed at Calvary Cemetery.
Elizabeth E. 'Betty' Roller
Elizabeth E. "Betty" Roller, 81, of Maryville, Ill., formerly of Bella Vista, Ark., died Monday, Sept. 29, 2008, in Maryville. She was born July 13, 1927, in East Chicago, Ind. She was preceded in death by her husband, Max E. Roller; and a daughter, Deborah McNutt. Survivors include two sons, Charles L. Roller, M. D., and Randolph W. Roller, M. D.; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 8, at St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church in St. Louis, Mo. Bernice Joanne Spann
Bernice Joanne Spann, 99, of Bella Vista, died Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2008, at Northwest Medical Center of Benton County in Bentonville. She was born on July 14, 1909, in Portland, Ore., to Thomas F. McMann and Joann Smith McMann. She attended the Bella Vista Christian Church. She was a member of the Benton County Republican Committee, Bella Vista Republican Women, and America Business Women. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Cheryll Spann, sister, Marie Depietro, and brother, Thomas McMann. She is survived by one son, Charles Spann of Thailand; four daughters, Cathy Livesey of Crystal River, Fla., Marlene Enblom of Kingman, Ariz.; Diana Cape of Bella Vista, Judy Spann of Bella Vista; one sister, Irene Danicourt of Bella Vista; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. A memorial service was held Oct. 3 at the Bella Vista Christian Church, with Pastor Lee McClanathan officiating. Arrangements were by the Bella Vista Funeral Home & Crematory. Thomas Sherman Stone
Thomas Sherman Stone, 77, of Maryville, Ill., formerly of southern Indiana and northwest Arkansas, died at Eden Village on Wednesday Sept. 24, 2008. He was born on Dec. 18, 1930, in Antigo, Wis., to Bessie Marie (nee Church) and Harry Sherman Stone. Over his 77 years, Tom Stone forged his own path, which led to many memorable life experiences. He graduated in 1948 from Antigo High School, where his athletic endeavors led to a try-out in professional baseball and on to Stevens Point College in Wisconsin, Nebraska Central in Central City, Neb., and finally to a college degree from York College, York, Neb., in 1954. After a decision to follow Christ's call to ministry, he attended and graduated from United Theological Seminary, Dayton, Ohio, in 1957, and later earned a master's in higher education administration from the University of Michigan in 1965. As an ordained United Methodist minister, he combined many years as a university administrator at Westmar in LeMars, Iowa, Earlham in Richmond, Ind., and The University of Evansville, in Evansville, Ind., while serving many United Methodist and Presbyterian congregations in Oklahoma, Iowa, South Dakota, Indiana, Illinois and Arkansas, on a temporary / interim basis. For health reasons, Tom retired from the University of Evansville in 1993, where he had been the director of Financial Aid. His great joy was to assist parents and their children in seeking higher education degrees. He also served many couples in marriage and conducted funerals for family, friends and church members.
Survivors include his caring wife, Jean Morton Stone, to whom he was marriage on July 5, 1952, in Russell, Kan., and his three beloved sons and their families; Christopher John Stone, Sandra, Alyssa and Alexandra of Greenville, S. C.; the Rev. Kurt Thomas Stone, Linda, Elizabeth, Rachel, Grace and Daniel of Troy, Ill.; and Kyle David Stone, Cindy, Jessie and Jamie of Portland, Ore. He is also survived by three sisters-in-law; Marge Stone, Cudahy, Wis., Norma Stone, Antigo, Wis., and Jackie Tibbetts, Hays, Kan., and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother at age 12, two brothers and one sister.
He was a member of professional organizations, serving as president of the Indiana Student Financial Aid Association, awards for his volunteer work with Cub Scouts and Little League, in addition to many years as a minister, counselor, mentor and friend to all. In retirement, Tom loved golfing, he was an avid Green Bay Packer fan and supported the St. Louis Cardinal baseball team. A memorial service was held Oct. 4, with the Rev. Dennis Price officiating. There was a memorial service at the Fairview Presbyterian Church, near Princeton, Ind., Oct. 5, with inurnment following in the Fairview Church Cemetery. The Rev. Tarrell Thompson officiated. Curtis E. 'Curt' Tarrant
Curtis E. "Curt" Tarrant, 79, of Ft. Gratiot, Mich., formerly of Bella Vista, Ark., died Thursday, Oct. 2, 2008, in Port Huron Hospital in Port Huron, Mich. He was born Dec. 10, 1928, in Bucklin, Kan., to Alton Tarrant and Dollie Tarrant. He marriage Betty S. King on July 1, 1955, in Hays, Kan. He served in the Air Force in Europe during the Korean Conflict. He was a teacher for 38 years at both the high school and college level and also coached high school athletics. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, playing cards. He was preceded in death by a son, Kipp Tarrant. Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Betty Tarrant; a son and daughter-in-law, David Tarrant and Maud Tarrant of Grosse Pointe Park, Mich.; a grandson, Stephan Tarrant of Grosse Pointe Park; and a daughter-in-law, Stephanie Tarrant of Grosse Pointe Park.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in Jefferson Avenue Presbyterian Church in Detroit, Mich.

Inge Jutta Barton
Inge Jutta Barton, 75, of Bentonville, died Thursday, March 20, 2008, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale. She was born Sept. 16, 1932, in Hamburg, Germany.
She marriage Cecil Everett Barton in 1955 in Germany. She moved to Bentonville 15 years ago from Orange County, Calif.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Barton, and a brother, Adolf Berger.
Survivors include three sons and two daughters-in-law, David Barton and Gina Barton, and Roger Barton and Lisa Barton, all of Bentonville, and Robert Barton of Taft, Calif.; two daughters and a son-in-law, Alex Stoltzfus and Richard Stoltzfus of Dallas, Texas, and Teresa Barton of Bella Vista; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
No services are scheduled at this time.
Inurnment will be at a later date at the Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside, Calif.
