Jamie Mark Edwards

Jamie Mark Edwards, age 61, of Fayetteville, died Thursday, September 10, 2020 at his residence. He was born November 13, 1958 in Fort Smith, Arkansas.

Survivors include: one son, one daughter, one brother, and three grandchildren.

Vesta Jean Curtsinger
July 14, 1927 until September 7, 2020

Vesta Jean Curtsinger of West Fork, AR passed away peacefully at home on September 7, 2020.

Jean was born in Los Angeles, CA on July 14, 1927 to Earl and Effie Thomas. She was preceded in death by her parents, triplet siblings, and her husband Jesse Birch “JB” Curtsinger.

Jean is survived by daughter Jody Lee and husband Malcolm of Santa Monica, CA, daughter Jan Alexander and husband Dale of Shelter Cove, CA, and son Tim Helder and wife Holly of West Fork, AR. She is also survived by her grandchildren Christy, Nolan and wife Kasey, Clay, Karli and husband Beau and great grandchildren Nicholas, Noah, Kane, Ruthie, Ellie, Henry, Alana and Joey.

Mom and JB attended First Baptist Church of West Fork, she loved spending time playing games with her family and friends.

She was given exceptional care over the last couple of years. A special thanks to Jennifer Livermore who attended to her medical needs and of course to Mary Siniawa and Vivian Hanson who became part of our family as they lovingly cared for mom on a daily basis.

John R. Lipe Jr.
July 8, 1969 until August 31, 2020

John R. Lipe Jr., 51, of Bella Vista passed away August 31 in his home. He was born July 8, 1969 in Germany to John and Greta Lipe.

John was preceded in death by his father.

Survivors include his mother, Greta, of Bella Vista, one brother, and many loving relatives.

No services are planned at this time.

Mason Parker Stevens
October 18, 2013 until August 28, 2020

Mason Parker Stevens, age 6, of Little Flock received his angel wings on Friday, August 28, 2020 at Arkansas Children’s Hospital located in Little Rock. He was born October 18, 2013 in Bentonville and is the son of Zach and JoAnn Stevens.

He recently started kindergarten at Russell Jones Elementary School and had spent the previous 5 years at Sunshine School & Development Center. He enjoyed playing with ferris wheels, his toy kitchen, loved spending time in the water, and watching Elmo’s World.

He was preceded in death by his cousin Mackenzie McCarthy.

Mason is survived by his parents; Zach and JoAnn Stevens, of Little Flock; one brother, Ethan Tanner Stevens, of Little Flock; his great grandmother, Jackie Dykes of Hot Springs, AR; his grandparents, John and Vicky Stevens of Hot Springs, AR, Dave and Kathy Carpenter of Watervliet, NY, and James Izzo of Bennington, VT. He is also survived by his loving aunts Jennifer (Matt) Richardson of Ashdown, AR; Charlene (Nicholas) Prince of Nashville, TN; and Ashley Carpenter of Fredericksburg, VA and many other family members who he loved so much.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 2-3pm at First Baptist Rogers “Olive Street Location.”

A celebration of Mason’s life will be Tuesday at 3pm at First Baptist Rogers “Olive Street Location” with Pastor Dawn Spragg officiating. Interment will follow at Pinnacle Memorial Gardens located in Rogers.

Pallbearers will be Ethan Stevens, Trent Hunter, Matt Murphy, Matt Richardson and Dean Bailey.

The family would like to give special thanks to the first responders with Little Flock Police & Fire Department; Rogers Fire Department; and the doctors, nurses and staff at Northwest Medical Center and Arkansas Children's Hospital.

Robert Frank Scruton
July 4, 1930 until August 22, 2020

Robert Frank Scruton, 90, died August 22, 2020, in Rogers, Arkansas. He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Betty Scruton, and a sister, Barbara Hardardt.

He was a US Navy Veteran, serving in the Korean War.

Survivors include: his wife; Eleanor, two sons, six grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren.

No funeral services are planned; burial will occur in Hampton, New Hampshire.

Hazel Womble
March 1, 1921 until August 21, 2020

Hazel Womble, 99, of Rogers died August 21st at a skilled nursing facility. She was born on March 1, 1921 to Mamie and Lem Willis in Oklahoma.

Hazel is survived by son-in-law, Mike Bimm; grandsons, Sean and Jeremy Bimm and many friends.

Mary Edythe Mason
June 3, 1940 until August 19, 2020

Mary Edythe Mason, 80, of Rogers passed away August 19 in her home, surrounded by family. She was born June 3, 1940 in Brutus, Michigan to Ivan and Edith Sanford.

Mary had lived in Northwest Arkansas for 25 years after moving from Diamond City, Arkansas. She retired as Financial Director for the City of Lowell. She enjoyed playing the piano, singing, playing cards, doing puzzles, and sewing. She was faithful in her church. She loved her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and her cat, Izzy.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents and two children, Dale and Jodi.

Survivors include five children: Kim Harris (Bryan) of Michigan, Tonya Duran (Rick) of Rogers, Scott Smith (Tanya) of Eureka Springs, Jill Risley (Stan) of Mountain Home, and Paula Cain (Brad) of Lead Hill. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be Saturday, August 22, 2020 at 10am with the funeral service following at 11am at the New Hope Assembly of God in Rogers. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Rogers.
