Vernon George Schaefer, age 87, of Thursday, July 16, 2020 at Mercy Medical Center located in Rogers, Arkansas. He was born March 27, 1933 in St. Louis, Missouri the son of Esther and Charles Schaefer.
He served in the Army. He enjoyed gardening and traveling. He had lived in the Northwest Arkansas area for over 35 years after moving from St. Louis, Missouri.
He was preceded in death by: his parents.
Vernon is survived by: three daughters; Cindy Schaefer, of Rogers, Robin Stevens, and her husband Allen, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Laura Jones and her husband Shawn, of Bentonville, two brothers; Rick Schaefer and his wife Dana, of Bucoda, Washington, Robert Schaefer and his wife Joan, of St. Louis, Missouri, one sister; Lorraine Grossnickle, of Baltimore, Maryland, and three grandchildren.
No services are planned at this time.

Hazel Mae Olson

Hazel Mae Olson, 95 years old, of Bella Vista, died June 15, 2020 at Village On The Park in Bentonville, Arkansas.
Hazel was the 5th of 6 children born to Martin and Paulina Wolff in Plymouth, WI. She graduated from Oshkosh College and became an elementary school teacher. Later, she worked as an executive assistant in an engineering firm in Madison, WI. Hazel met her beloved husband, Lowell "Ole", at a Green Bay Packer game. Together, they shared their passion for football, golf, skiing, and motorcycle trips for 58 years until Ole's death in 2019. Hazel and Ole loved to prepare holiday dinners for family and friends.
Hazel is survived by her sisters in law, Janet Olson Suhr of Gainesville, FL and Carol Olson of Spring Green, WI, niece, Kristi Rothstein of St. Augustine, FL, cousin, David Johnson of Chicago, and many nieces and nephews in WI.
The family extends gratitude to her neighbors, friends, and especially to her caregiver, Rebecca Cooper, who remained by her side.
Memorials in Hazel's honor can be made to Bella Vista Animal Shelter in Arkansas.
Jill Annette Bright

Jill Annette Bright, 53, of Rogers, passed away peacefully in her sleep on July 11, 2020. Jill was born December 7, 1966, in Joplin, Missouri. She is the beloved daughter of Robert and Judy Arnold. She moved with her family to Rogers in 1978.
Jill attended school in Rogers and graduated from Rogers High School in 1985. She married her husband, Richard Bright, on August 29, 1987. They welcomed their daughter Lauren in 1989, and she has always been the light of their lives.
Jill was a strong Christian woman who showed Jesus’ love to anyone she met. Jill loved people and people loved her. She lit up a room with her personality and she never met a stranger. She loved spending time with her family, loved to travel, loved reading, taking her morning walks, and enjoying coffee with her friends.
Jill spent 33 years in a successful banking career. She began at First National Bank in Rogers in 1988, working there for 17 years and then went on to work at Parkway Bank and Grand Savings Bank. She was most recently employed as Business Development Officer/Grand Business Suite Officer at Grand Savings Bank in Rogers. She was a graduate of Leadership Benton County, active in the community as a Board Member of Restoration Village, on the Board of Directors in the Rogers Rotary Club and received the Paul Harris Fellowship Award. She was also an active member of the Rogers/Lowell Chamber of Commerce serving as a Chamber Ambassador, being named Ambassador of the Year in 2014.
Jill is survived by her loving husband, Richard, of the home and her daughter, Lauren Bright, of Rogers; her parents, Robert and Judy Arnold, of Rogers; her brother, Jeff Arnold and wife Ronnie of Bentonville; her twin sisters, Courtney Hurd and husband Will of Bella Vista, Lindsay Hudson and husband Charles of Rogers; her mother-in-law, Nancy Morgan of Rogers. Also surviving their “Auntie Jill” are many nieces and nephews whom she adored, as well as numerous extended family and countless friends and co-workers.
Jill’s Celebration of Life will be held at Cross Church Pinnacle Hills in Rogers, 2448 S Pinnacle Hills Parkway, on Tuesday, July 14, 2020, at 2:00 pm. Jill loved and supported so many causes and charities, so in lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the charity or non-profit of your choice in Jill’s name.
Patricia Ann Morningstar
May 25, 1953 until July 6, 2020
Patricia Ann Morningstar, 67, of Fayetteville passed away July 6, 2020 at Fayetteville Health and Rehab. She was born May 25, 1953 in Cassville, MO.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents: Jim and Bernice (Martin) Converse; and her daughter, Avesta Moore.
Survivors include her ten children: Carl, John, Rebecca, Cindy, Sandra, Jerry Jr, Theresa, Little John, Savanna, and Kelly; and many, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Patricia had lived most of her life in Northwest Arkansas, and enjoyed music, singing, and sitting outside in her recliner.
A memorial service will be Saturday, July 11 at 11am at Word of Life Fellowship in Bentonville.
Dwight Frame
January 27, 1937 until July 5, 2020
Dwight Frame was born in Fresno, CA in 1937. He met his beloved wife, Joyce, in Albuquerque and in the winter of 1975 moved her and their 3 kids to Rogers, AR where he would live out the rest of his days.
He was a stranger to no one in part due to his 30 plus year career in Snap On tools. He was a most hardworking man, true friend, as well as a greatly devoted husband, father, and grandfather. The best word to describe him would be service as he gave anything for everyone in his life.
He is preceded in death by his cherished wife, Joyce, son Gary, and granddaughter Lindsey Frame.
He is survived by his son Randy and daughter Cathy. Twin sister Joan and brother in law Mike Jeffcoat. Grandchildren Zach, Josh, Lisha, and Tia along with 6 great grandchildren. This great dedicated man will be truly missed.
Frankie Michele Merryman

Frankie Michele Merryman, 50, of Fort Smith passed away July 3, 2020.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Norma Miros; her father, Frank Merryman; her sister, Tina King; and her nephew, Shane Morton.
She is survived by her three children: Cody Merryman of Fort Smith, Kaley and husband Tyler Walker of Fort Smith, and Haley Merryman of Mobile, AL; three sisters: Treana Baker of Cave Springs, Christy Douglas of Van Buren, and twin sister Rainey Cox of Mulberry; eight grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Amy Elizabeth Tatom
August 14, 1967 until July 2, 2020
Amy Elizabeth Tatom, age 52, of Rogers, Arkansas died July 2, 2020, after a long battle with Life. Amy was born to Barbara and Kent Tatom, in Clinton Sherman Air Force Base, Oklahoma, on August 14, 1967.
As the daughter of an Air Force pilot, Amy had the exceptional opportunity to travel internationally, as well as reside in multiple states and countries. Amy taught herself to read music as a child and was a talented pianist and singer. She was a voracious reader and inspirational writer. Amy completed extensive academic studies in the fields of psychology and sociology, and worked in related areas until no longer able. She remained a lifetime learner, with a quick wit.
Amy is preceded in death by her son, Benjamin.
She is survived by her devoted partner, Glen Childress of Arkansas.
Amy was most proud of her three daughters, Jenni Beeman of Arkansas, Hannah Tatom of Georgia, and Rebekah Maggi of Florida. She has one grandson, Silas. Amy is survived by her mother, Barbara Beeman of Arkansas and her father, Col. Kent Tatom of Florida.
Amy admired her older brother, Blake Tatom of California, and loved his wife Diane and their children Trent, Ella, and Zane.
She was a lover of Jesus, southern food, a good book, Coca-Cola, and music.
She had a heart for people, especially the hurting. Her family finds peace knowing she is at peace, dancing with the Lord.
A private memorial service will be held in Northwest Arkansas at a later date.
