Lowell Dean Titus

Lowell Dean Titus, age 93, died Tuesday, June 30th, 2020 at Brookstone Assisted Living in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
Lowell was born October 23, 1926 in Des Moines, Iowa to Hazel Monta (Wright) Titus and Charles David Titus. After graduating from North High School in Des Moines, he served in the Navy, then earned a Civil Engineering degree from Iowa State and later a Masters in Sanitary Engineering from University of Iowa.
Lowell and Norma Darlene Knouf were married December 17, 1950 and settled in Muscatine Iowa. There, Lowell pursued an engineering career with Stanley Consultants, eventually doing extensive work overseas. He enjoyed discussing his work experiences in 23 countries across 6 continents. After retirement, Lowell and Norma enjoyed life together at The Village Retirement Community in Indianola, Iowa until Norma’s death in 2016. In 2018 Lowell moved to Brookstone in Fayetteville to take advantage of additional support services.
Lowell loved to sing, dance, and play bridge and table tennis. He also enjoyed a pithy comment. A few of his favorites were: “a little dirt never hurt anyone”; “you’ll never learn any younger”; and “imagination comes easy, engineering is real work”
His was a life well lived. He will be greatly missed by many beloved friends and family.
Lowell was proceeded in death by Norma, his wife of 66 years, and his brothers Charles Titus and Clyde Titus. He is survived by his children: Brad Titus, Janet Titus, Barbara Titus and Carol Hughes, eleven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
A family graveside service will be held in Des Moines at a future date.

Diana Guerin, age 66, of Bentonville, Arkansas died Friday, June 26, 2020 at Mercy Medical Center located in Rogers. She was born December 13, 1953 in Mount Vernon, New York.
She is survived by many loving friends and family.
Inurnment will be at Holy Rood Cemetery located in New York at a later date.

David B. Caldwell, 73, of Bella Vista died June 25th at Mercy Medical Center.
He served in the US Navy.
Survivors: wife; Judith Caldwell, two sons; John and David Jr., and two granddaughters.
Graveside: Saturday at 10am at Bella Vista Cemetery.
Ann Louise Paul

Ann Louise Paul, age 73, passed away on Wednesday, June 23, 2020, at Mercy Hospital in Rogers, Arkansas. She was born November 24, 1946 in Troy, New York, to Joseph and Catherine Flynn.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Roy Paul, her sister Joan Millard and husband Roger, her brother John Flynn, and her brother-in-law William Herald, husband of Catherine.
She is survived by two children from an earlier marriage, Dale Zachery and Georgeann Zachery, her brother, Reverend Joseph Flynn and wife Donna, two sisters, Catherine Herald and Maggie Smith and husband Len. She had many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Ann was a military veteran, a member of Believers Baptist Church in Rogers, AR, and was a friend of Bill W. Her strong faith influenced many people who loved and respected her.
Funeral Service will be conducted at Believers Baptist Church, 924 South C Street in Rogers on Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at 9:00 am. Interment will be at Fayetteville National Cemetery with limited attendance.

Glenda Susanne Elam Ingram Burnley

Glenda Susanne Elam Ingram Burnley passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on June 21, 2020. She was born May 17, 1955 to Lloyd and Mary (Arnold) Elam. Susanne, or Sissy, as she was known to the nieces and nephews she cherished, was preceded in death by her parents, her two brothers, Anthony and David Elam, and her first husband Roy Thomas Ingram. She is survived by her sister-in-law and her husband, Debra Elam and Darin McDonald, of West Fork, and her nieces and nephews, Lauran Elam and Mounir El Fatmi, of Thousand Oaks, CA, Clint and Trella Elam of Lowell, and Aaron Elam, of Fayetteville.
Susanne was a graduate of Fayetteville High School, and worked for years as a CNA and Medical Technician at both Washington Regional and Fayetteville City Hospital. She devoted her life to her family, helping to care for both her nieces and nephews as if they were her own, as well as her beloved late mother-in-law, Nancy Ingram. She had a child-like enthusiasm for life, and delighted in sharing the dolls, toys, and jewelry she collected with those she loved. Her generosity of spirit was unrivaled. She loved her cats, her grand-nieces and nephew, Juliana, Hanae, and Mack, and her network of aunts, aunts-in-law, cousins, and friends with abandon. She was particularly close with her cousin Lisa and her friend LaDonna. Susanne was estranged from her second husband, Paul Burnley, at the time of her passing.

Carla Jean Dougan
October 30, 1969 until June 18, 2020
Carla Jean Dugan age 50 of Greenwood Arkansas departed this life to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on June 18th, 2020 at her residence 3401 Jenny Ridgeway in Greenwood Arkansas where she lived with her husband Robert Eugene Dugan Sr. and her 15-year-old son Seth Eugene Elliott. Carla was an accomplished homemaker, mother, and greatly adored wife, friend, and highly faithful attender in her church. She enjoyed exampling her faith in all areas of her life and delighted in every moment with her family and many dear friends. Her physical absence will be certainly noticed, and her presence sorely missed by all who knew her. Carla was born on October 30th, 1969 in Fayetteville, AR.
Carla was preceded in death by her mother Anna Florence Frederick. Carla Jean Dugan is survived by her father James Cecil Frederick of Farmington, AR, two sisters Fern Clear and her husband Terry of Centerton, AR, Dianne Bottoms and her husband Rob of Patrick, AR, one brother Mike Frederick of Shreveport, LA, one daughter Amanda Horine and her husband Daniel of Greenwood AR, two sons Aron Turner and his wife Cherish of Greenwood, AR, Seth Eugene Elliott of the home, one step son Robert Eugene Dugan Jr. of Hanford, CA, one stepdaughter Cherisse Roberts and her husband Jason of Dinuba CA, 21 grandchildren and two great grandchildren, 3 nieces, 1 nephew, 3 great nieces, and 1 great nephew.
Visitation will be Thursday June 25th at 9 a.m. at Farmington Cemetery in Farmington, AR.
Graveside service will commence at 10 a.m. at Farmington Cemetery, with Pastor Larry Elmore officiating of the Rose Garden Full Gospel Church in Jenny Lind, AR.
Tracy Dawn Gooding-Shook
June 30, 1964 until June 18, 2020
Tracy Dawn Gooding-Shook, 55, of Prairie Grove, AR passed away Thursday June 18, 2020 in Fayetteville. She was born June 30th, 1964 in Fayetteville, Arkansas the daughter of Jerry & Sharon Gooding.
She spent her working career at Tyson Foods and City of Fayetteville Parks and Recreation. She enjoyed fishing, swimming, camping, and other outdoor activities with family and friends. She loved music, loved her sports, and was an avid hog fan.
Tracy is survived by her mother, Sharon Gooding, sisters Cheryl Sanders, Heather Pfeiffer (Justin), Niece Sidney Sims (Payton) Nephews, Jacob Robertson, Hunter Sanders, and Cole Sanders, great Nephew, Mason Ryder Sims, and great niece Palmer Kate Sims, and many relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held on her birthday, Tuesday June 30th, at Vesper Point on Mt. Sequoyah in Fayetteville, AR from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
