Helen Marie Pile, age 88, died Sunday, November 1, 2020 at her residence, where she had been surrounded by her loving family. She was born March 16, 1932 in Friedens, Pennsylvania to Bert and Olive Pugh.
She married her childhood sweetheart on November 17, 1950 and they moved to Arkansas in July of 1951. Helen was a homemaker who loved gardening and spent her life caring for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She attended First Baptist Church of Lowell for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, son Bruce Pile; son-in-law Dave Moffitt; and grandson Colby Pile.
Helen is survived by her loving husband, Ronald Pile of 70 years, children, Barry Pile, Sherrie Moffitt and Mark (Missy) Pile all of Lowell; grandchildren, Aaron (Jessica) Pile, Chelsea (Ryan) Tucker, Ann Marie Pile, Michelle (Damon) Donnell, Michael (Jennifer) Moffitt, Dustin Pile, and Bailey Pile; great-grandchildren, Khyleigh Kelly, Emma Pile, Graham Tucker, Lucy Tucker, Faith and Cadence Donnell, Jacob, Joshua and Jonathan Moffitt, Lane Pile, and many loving friends.
A public visitation will be Wednesday, November 4 from 5 to 7pm at Epting Funeral Home of Bentonville.
A public graveside service will be held Thursday, November 5th at Rogers Cemetery at 2pm with Gary Thomas and Ben Rowell presiding.

Gerard Kinsell Swartz
December 6, 1940 until November 1, 2020
Gerard Kinsell Swartz died November 1, 2020 at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville. He was born December 6, 1940 in Berkley, California to Herman Frank Swartz and Margaret Phyllis Sawyer Swartz.
Gerard served in the Air Force. He married his love, Judy, on April 11, 1963. His career was, in a field that he had a passion for, in electronics as a quality assurance manager and he worked a few different companies in Silicon Valley. He never strayed far from the Bay Area then retired in Auburn, California. In 2017, Gerard and Judy moved to Arkansas to be near his children and grandchildren.
He enjoyed sailing on the bay and reading everything from history to sci-fi. His memory for what he read was truly remarkable. He enjoyed a good cigar, a bottle scotch or bottle of port, and conversations with friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife Judy after 54 years of marriage.
Gerard leaves behind four children, Kathleen Annette Deason of Seligman, Missouri, Darla Evenson of Rogers, Gerard Kinsell Swartz II of Avoca, Judy Francine Pautlitz of Exeter, Missouri; eight grandchildren, numerous great-grands and great-great-grands, nieces and nephews, and a cranky black cat called R2D2.
He will be missed but remembered.
Lola Mae Taylor
August 15, 1933 until October 31, 2020
Lola Mae Taylor, 87, died Saturday, October 31, 2020 in Centerton, Arkansas. She was born on August 15, 1933 in Denver, Arkansas to Charles Braswell and Elzie (Butler) Ferguson.
Lola enjoyed her family, cooking, playing the organ, reading the Bible, yoga, going on walks and drinking tea. She also loved snow skiing and going to the Pacific Northwest coast.
She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband James Taylor, daughter Carol Li and brother Gene Braswell.
Lola is survived by her husband Joe Erwin of Green Forest; son John Taylor of South Dakota; two daughters, Linda Powell of Centerton, Karen Taylor of Beaverton, Oregon; two sisters, Charlene Jenkins of Green Forest, Ray Ann Worley of Berryville; ten grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and a host of loving friends.
Funeral services and burial are to be held in Vancouver, Washington.
Cynthia "Cindy" Louise Boosey
July 1, 1963 until October 27, 2020
Cynthia “Cindy” Louise Boosey, age 57, of Fayetteville went to be with the Lord Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at her home surrounded by her family after a long battle with cancer. She was born on July 1, 1963 in Memphis, Tennessee to Jimmie Lou Garrison Blair and Eulyse Elbert Blair.
Cindy attended Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. There Cindy found a passion for interpreting and transferred to Maryville College in Maryville, Tennessee and majored in Sign Language Interpreting, attaining, National RID certification.
Cindy moved back to Memphis and worked at a local interpreting service while attending Central Church, where Cindy was a secretary and interpreted services. There Cindy met her future husband, Rick.
Cindy, along with Rick owned and operated World Garden and later Kyya Chocolate.
She was preceded in death by: her father, Eulyse Elbert Blair on June 8th, 2019.
Cindy is survived by her husband of 29 years, Richard “Rick” William Boosey III, four daughters; Peyton Elizabeth, Madison Louise, Cassandra Mae Jin and Abigail Blair of Fayetteville, Arkansas, her mother; Jimmie Lou Blair, of Oakland Tennessee, two brothers, Tony Blair of Collierville, Tennessee, Paul Blair and wife Nell from Arlington, Tennessee, two nieces, one nephew, 13 cousins and a litany of friends around the world.

Jerry Lee Nordyke
January 16, 1946 until October 23, 2020
On Friday October 23rd, 2020- Jerry Lee Nordyke of Lowell AR passed away at Circle of Life Hospice. Jerry was born 1/16/46 in Sigourny Iowa to Walter and Florence Nordyke. He married Taddy A Nordyke and moved to Arkansas where they raised 2 sons Torin and Jaran Nordyke and 1 daughter Jarita Nordyke. He retired from Wal-Mart in 2014.
Jerry had a passion for his ministry as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses and for his children and family. He also took great pleasure in golf, boating on Beaver Lake, home DIY, Arkansas Razorback sports, travel, watching his granddaughter Victoria and Great-granddaughter Alaina grow up.
He was especially thankful to Dr. Thad Beck and Dr. Juan Lombeida at Highlands Oncology Group as well as Circle of Life Hospice for the precious time they were able to give him with his family.
He is preceded in death by his parents and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is survived by his wife Taddy, sons Torin and his wife Terrie, Jaran and his wife Cassandra, daughter Jarita, granddaughter Victoria, Great granddaughter Alaina, Sister Dixie and her husband Ron, brother Duane and wife Linda, and brother Richard as well as many cousins, nephews and nieces.
His funeral service will be held via Zoom on Saturday November 14th, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. CST.
Thomas C. Apple

Thomas C. Apple, 62, of Fayetteville died Sunday, September 13, 2020 at North Hills Life Care. He was born in Little Rock, Arkansas the son of Fred and Shirley Apple and raised in Lonoke, Arkansas.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by daughter, Eva Apple of Iowa; brothers, Neal Apple and his wife Linda of Rogers, Scot Apple and his wife Emilie of North Little Rock; sister, Terry Apple of Fayetteville; two grandchildren, Akota and Asher; many nieces and nephews and loving friends.
Kathryn Koehler Summerhill
April 14, 1949 until September 12, 2020
Kathryn Koehler Summerhill, 71, of Hot Springs, passed away September 12, 2020, in Fayetteville. Kathy was born in Jamaica, Queens, New York City, to George and Mary Koehler.
As a teenager she moved with her family to Helena, Arkansas, where she graduated from Central High School and married Russell Lloyd "Pete" Summerhill. They were married 52 years and had three children who they loved to the moon and back - Jennifer Summerhill Ward (Randy) of Magnet Cove, Brian Summerhill (Stacey) of Conway, and Anna Nelson (Chris) of Fayetteville.
Kathy obtained degrees from Phillips College and UAMS and worked as a medical lab technologist at Helena Regional and St. Joseph's in Hot Springs. She and Lloyd traveled by land, sea, and air and enjoyed many adventures together.
She was widowed for 51 weeks, during which time she moved from Hot Springs to Springdale to embark on new adventures. She was deeply loved by her family.
Nana leaves behind eight grandchildren of whom she was so very proud - Jake, Claire, and Molly Nelson, Corey Anna, Emily, and Elizabeth Jack Ward, Patrick Summerhill, and Hali Boyce. She is survived by her brothers - George Koehler (Geri) of Oxnard, California, and Peter Koehler (Maureen) of Easton, Pennsylvania, sisters-in-law Peggy Henson, Joyce Stanford, and Loyce Corbitt, and brother-in-law Larry Summerhill of Helena-West Helena.
She was predeceased by her sister Carol Lucas of Llandudno, North Wales, UK.
There will be a private memorial.
