Marilyn Elizabeth Briggs
Marilyn Elizabeth Briggs, 79, of Bentonville died Tuesday, July 04, 2017 at her residence. She was born March 16, 1938 in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
She was a Homemaker and a Catholic.
Survivors: five children, grandchildren, many extended family members, and host of friends.
Eric Andrew Roberts
Eric Andrew Roberts, 45, of Springdale died November 1, 2017. He was born July 16, 1972 in Des Moines, Iowa.
Eric enjoyed setting up his Christmas lights display, being outdoors, biking, hiking and working with computers. He found joy in spending time with his family.
Eric is survived by his wife, Donna Roberts; his parents, Diane and Austin Roberts; his father, Donn (Janet) Rogers; one son, Kenton; one daughter; Katie Roberts; two siblings, Stephen and Sean Rogers; brother-in-law, Randy (Vicki) Watkins; sister-in-laws, Denise (Mike) Wright and Denan (Galen) Cagle; grandparents, Norman (Ruth) Rogers and many loving family and friends.
A celebration of Eric’s life will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, November 11th in the chapel at Cross Church Springdale with a reception to follow in room N133.

Clarence “Buck” Edward Martin
Clarence “Buck” Edward Martin, 80, of Rogers died Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at his residence. He was born September 4, 1937 in Jasper County, Indiana the son of Daisy Woods and Lewis Martin.
He served in the US Army. He loved spending quality time with his family and friends. He loved spending time in the outdoors, especially camping. He attended Rogers Assembly of God Church.
He was employed and retired after 30 years of service with Blaw-Knox in Indiana. He then went to work for JB Hunt for many years. After moving to Northwest Arkansas in July 1988, he was a supervisor at Kennametal for many years. He was a lawn attendant for the Rogers School District, he formerly retired as a Tyson Foods as a truck driver.
He was preceded in death by: by his parents, four brothers; Gene, Harry, George, and Marion, one sister; Martha Rice, one daughter; Diana Ferguson, and one son-in-law; David Clark Strawmier.
Buck is survived by: his wife of 55 years; Rosella (Eisele) Martin, whom he married October 13, 1962, two sons; Robert Martin, of Rogers, Daniel Martin and his wife Misty, of Missouri, one daughter; Donna Strawmier, of California, one sister; Juanita Oliver, of Indiana, eleven grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday, November 3 from 9:30-10:30am at Rogers Assembly of God Church. Following the visitation a celebration of “Buck’s” Life will begin at 10:30am.

Donald Lee Wood
Donald Lee Wood, age 72 of Bentonville, Arkansas went home to his Heavenly Father on October 31, 2017 at Washington Regional Hospital in Fayetteville after a lengthy battle with cancer. Don was born December 24, 1944 the son of Dock Ray and Nancy Lea Wood. He married the love of his life, Brenda Diann Khilling on June 3, 1965. Their marriage of over 52 years was blessed with two daughters, Heather and Holly, and a son, Donald Lee Wood, Jr.
Most important to Don was his family. He was a wonderful, generous, loving, dedicated husband, father, and grandfather who cherished his time with his family, and was extremely proud of their accomplishments and achievements. He loved outdoor activities, especially fishing and camping. Don worked his entire career as a printer and owned his own small printing business for over 25 years, retiring in 2013. He was a Christian, having been saved and baptized as a young man. He and his wife, Brenda were active members of Boundless Grace Baptist Church in Rogers, Arkansas.
Don will remain in the hearts of his loving wife, Brenda of the home; daughter, Heather Jennings of Baldwin, Wisconsin; daughter, Holly (Jeff) Haak of Bentonville; son, Donald Lee (Sara) of Gunnison, Colorado; grandchildren Emily Jennings, Emmett Jennings, Whitney Haak, Alex Haak, Woodrow Murray, Hunter Wood, and Braden Wood; sisters Lena Bates and Christine Amos; brother Bob Wood; numerous nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
A Memorial Celebration of Don’s Life will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, November 4, 2017 at Boundless Grace Baptist Church in Rogers, Arkansas.
Gertrude "Trude" Grosshuesch Cobb Swift
Gertrude "Trude" Grosshuesch Cobb Swift of Rogers, born December 6, 1923, to Calvin and Alice Kuhlman Grosshuesch, died October 28, 2017.
Trude grew up in Klemme, Iowa. She was a nurse for 25 years following graduation from Deaconess School of Nursing in Marshalltown, Iowa. She lived in Rogers for 50 years and was a charter member of First United Methodist Church.
Trude was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Cal, Ozzie and Ed and 2 husbands, Cecil Cobb and Charles Swift. She is survived by her brother Ruben, step-daughter Cecilie Mattison and granddaughters Lindsey and Annie.
Memorial service Wednesday, November 1, First United Methodist Church, 307 West Elm, Rogers at 1pm.
John Thomas Naples
John Thomas Naples, 47, of Bentonville died Friday, October 27, 2017 at his residence. He was born June 26, 1970 in Buffalo, New York the son of Barbara and Richard Naples.
He enjoyed coaching youth sport of football and baseball with the Bentonville Boys and Girls Club. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle.
He had lived in the Northwest Arkansas area for over 10 years after moving from Chicago. He was preceded in death by his mother.
Survivors include: his father; Richard Naples, of Florida, three brothers; Carl Naples and his wife Cynthia, of North Carolina, Gino Naples and his wife Amy, of Bentonville, Marc Naples and his wife Steffanie, of Bentonville, one sister; Lisa Williams and her husband Charlie, of Florida, and nieces and nephews.
Nancy Laney Kendrick
Nancy Laney Kendrick, 80, of Rogers passed away Thursday, October 26, 2017 at Circle of Life Hospice. She was born February 19, 1937 in Jefferson City, Missouri the daughter of Elsa and Howard Laney.
Nancy is survived by three sons; Marty Kendrick of Iowa, Lee Kendrick of Little Rock, Mark Kendrick and his wife Rachel of Florida, one daughter; Mylynda Kendrick of Virginia, one sister; Doris Grigg of Rogers, two nieces; Amber Boxberger, of Centerton, Cherann Daulton, of Rogers, two granddaughters; Devon Kendrick MD, Shiloh Kendrick, two great-grandchildren and many loving family and friends.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
