Sharon Stegeman
Sharon Louise Stegeman, 59, of Springdale died Tuesday, February 17th at Circle of Life Hospice House. She was born September 25, 1955.
Survivors include; her husband Roger Stegeman, three sons, and six grandchildren.
Services at a later date in Hannibal, Missouri.
Hattie Jean Sandridge
Hattie Jean Sandridge, 86, of Rogers, Arkansas died suddenly Sunday, February 15, 2015 at Mercy Medical Center in Rogers after receiving excellent care from the ICU staff. She was born November 16, 1928 in Little Rock, Arkansas the daughter of Eugene T. Braden and Hattie Belle Talkington Braden.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband Jack E. Sandridge who she was married to for 53 years.
Hattie is survived by: three daughters; LouAnn Howery and her husband Chuck of Bakersfield, California, Donna Nauman and her husband John, of Rogers, Arkansas, and Lesa Bushfield and her husband George, of Iowa Park, Texas. She had five grandchildren; Jennifer Cooper, of Richmond, Virginia, Jayme Falk and her husband Jerromy, of Edgewood, Texas, John E. Nauman and his wife Wendy, of Bentonville, Arkansas, Julie Myers and her husband Blake, of Rogers, Arkansas, and Alanah Bushfield, of Nashville, Arkansas. She also has five great-grandchildren, and one sister; Martha Reid, of Little Rock, Arkansas.
Hattie was a true Southern Belle who wouldn’t be caught in public without her earrings and lipstick. She lived a blessed and full life and was a devoted wife and mother.
She enjoyed watching tennis and golf on television. She was an avid Arkansas Razorback and Dallas Cowboy fan. She had lived in the Northwest Arkansas area for over 11 years after moving from Fort Worth, Texas.
A celebration of her life will be Saturday, February 21, 2015 at 11am at Charity Baptist Church in Rogers with Pastor John Nauman officiating.
Memorials may be sent to Charity Baptist Church, to “The General Fund.”
Sarah Jo Elzey
Sarah Jo Elzey, 50, of Prairie Grove passed away February 14, 2015 at Washington Regional Hospital. She was born January 14, 1965.
Survivors: two sons: Lee and Michael; daughter: Holly; brothers, sisters, and three grandchildren. She will live, "Forever in Our Hearts."
Doris Grogan
Doris Annell Bozeman Grogan, 85 of Davie, Florida died Saturday, February 14, 2015 at Circle of Life Hospice House in Bentonville. She was born November 15, 1929 in Georgia the daughter of Willie Mae Head and Jesse Bozeman.
She loved spending time at the beach. She enjoyed watching NASCAR.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and one son James Michael Grogan.
Doris is survived by: two children, Laurie Powers and her husband Chris, of Bentonville, Jesse Grogan, of Florida, four grandchildren; Ricky Ericson, Jackie Rickbeil, Robby Powers, Steve Powers, and eight great-grandchildren.
A celebration of her life will be at Circle of Life Hospice House Chapel located in Bentonville, Tuesday, February 17th at 7pm.
Graveside service will be Sunday, February 22, 2015 at 2pm at Evergreen Cemetery in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Walter Clay Galbraith
Walter Clay Galbraith, 61, of Elkins died February 12th at his home.
He served in the US Army during Vietnam.
Preceded by: his parents, one brother Carl, one sister Cathy.
Survivors: brothers; Clyde, Dennis, David, sisters; Carolyn, Cheryl, Celia, and Cindy.
Robert Nietfeld
Rob Nietfeld was born on February 10, 1959 in Wichita, Kansas to Elmer and Betty Nietfeld. He passed away on his birthday, February 10, 2015.
Rob was a 1977 graduate of Bluestem High School, Leon, Kansas and attended Purdue School of Engineering and Technology in Indianapolis and became a private pilot in 1995. He was a disc jockey on radio and a radio announcer in Indiana and Arkansas.
He was a member of CrossChurch in Springdale. His hobbies were bowling and music.
He leaves to mourn his parents and his brother, Dan Nietfeld, of Nowata, Oklahoma.
Arrangements are pending and will be in Nebraska.
Margaret “Virginia” Stevenson
Margaret “Virginia” Stevenson, 90, of Rogers, Arkansas died Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at Jamestown Nursing and Rehabilitation of Rogers. She was born December 5, 1924 in Chireno, Texas.
She enjoyed singing and reading. She was a dedicated member of Memorial Baptist Church located in Spring, Texas for over 40 years. She taught several children’s classes early in her years, and later in life she led many Ladies’ Bible Classes. She loved her family, and was proud of her children, grandchildren, and especially her great-grandchildren. She had lived in the Northwest Arkansas area since February 2006 after moving from The Woodlands, Texas.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, her husband of 67 years James Stevenson, five siblings, and one great-granddaughter Madeline Calais Will.
Margaret is survived by: one daughter, Donna Stephens and her husband Jim, of Bella Vista, Arkansas; and one son, Glenn Stevenson and his wife Pamela, of Marble Falls, Texas.
She is also survived by: four grandchildren; Darek Stephens of Rogers; Elise Will, of Wisconsin; Blake Stevenson and wife Lisa, of Austin, Texas; and Caryn Stevenson of Texas; and four great-grandchildren, Hope Will and Jameson Will-McCarten of Wisconsin and Brent and Brandon Stevenson of Austin, Texas.
Visitation will be Friday, February 13, 2015 at Bentonville Church of Christ “The Lodge” from 9:30am until service time.
A celebration of her life will be at “The Lodge” at 10:30am on Friday.
A private family interment will follow at Fayetteville National Cemetery in Fayetteville.
Memorials may be sent to Alzheimer’s Association in Bentonville.
