Onyx Elliott Munnerlyn

Onyx Elliott Munnerlyn, infant son of Cody Munnerlyn and Samantha Vinciguerra. He was born Thursday, April 23, 2015 and passed away Saturday, April 25, 2015 at Willow Creek Hospital in Johnson, Arkansas.

He is survived by many loving relatives.

John Andrew Blackwell

John Andrew Blackwell, 61, of Fayetteville died Friday, April 24, 2015 at his home.

John planted millions of trees across Arkansas, Missouri and Michigan. He was a loving father, husband, son, brother, and uncle. With a smiling face and a helping hand from the Great Lakes to the Florida Keys, he lived an adventurous life full of love, books, and coffee.

He is survived by his wife of 34 years Mary Ellen (Emme) Worthy of Fayetteville, his four children; Angelina Blackwell-Smith, her husband Jacob, and their son Ezra of Fayetteville, Essau Worthy-Blackwell of Houston, Texas, Maxine Worthy of New York City, New York, Emmett Worthy of Fayetteville. His father Robert Blackwell and step-mother Mary Blackwell and his five sisters; Kathy Blackwell of New York, Jenny Elliot of California, Ellen Dutcher of Michigan, Susie Finertie of Michigan, Anne Blackwell of Washington DC, and many other loving family members and friends.

He was born March 27, 1954 in Nebraska the son of Rachel and Robert Blackwell. John was preceded in death by his mother Rachel Marie Blackwell.

A memorial service will be held at Bordinos Restaurant in Fayetteville on Sunday, May 3rd at 5pm.

Amanda Lin Eddings

Amanda Lin Eddings, 25, of Rogers died Wednesday, April 22, 2015 in Marshall, Arkansas. She was born February 23, 1990 to Linette Wright and Randall Lorenz.

Amanda is survived by her husband, Jonathan Eddings of Rogers, father; Randall Lorenz of Western Grove, mother; Linette Wright of Marshall, two brothers; Randy Jackson of Western Grove, Andrew Wright of Marshall, one sister; Katrina Wright of Marshall, and many loving friends and family.

A memorial service will be 2:00 pm, Wednesday, April 29th at Fayetteville National Cemetery.

Roberta Gayle Currens

Ms. Bertie Currens, known as being very honery, funny, colorful and full of piss and vinegar has passed. Her legacy will no doubt live on through her children; Aaron, Troy, and Shawn Currens.

Wanda Mae Hunter

FAYETTEVILLE---Wanda Mae Hunter, 77, died April 18, 2015 at North Hills Life Care and Rehab in Fayetteville. She was born November 26, 1937 in Hot Springs, daughter of Roy Clifton Dorris and Ruby Elizabeth Dorris.

She attended Garland County Community College in Hot Springs. After receiving an associate degree, she moved to Fort Worth, Texas where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Texas Christian University. She lived in Fort Worth until 2004 when she moved to Fayetteville. Her passions included writing and playing piano. In her later years she also devoted her time to the rescue of homeless cats.

She was preceeded in death by her parents; an infant son, Shawn Lynn Hunter; two sisters, Joye Goslee and Darlene Dorris; and three brothers, Donald Dorris, Lester Dorris and Roy “Junior”Dorris. She is survived by her son and daughter-n-law, Jeff and Sharon Hunter; her daughter and son-n-law, Shana and Everett McBee; her brother, Boyce “Butch” Dorris; two grandchildren, Keith Hunter and Allyson Hunter; two great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Her children would like to thank the entire staff of North Hills Life Care and Rehab for the loving and excellent care they provided to her during her year long stay there.

Graveside Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, April 21 at 2:00 p.m. at Fairview Memorial Gardens at 1728 Mission Boulevard in Fayetteville

Larry Joe Horton

Larry Joe Horton, 71, of Rogers, Arkansas died Monday, April 13, 2015 at Circle of Life Hospice House. He was born March 5, 1944 in Milton, Oklahoma the son of Monte Olean LeFlore and Guy Quincy Horton.

He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan, and enjoyed watching all other sports. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister; Lena Ann Walker, two brothers; Donald Horton and Jerry Horton, brother-in-law; Pete Walker, sister-in-law; Keva Horton, and father-in-law; Ben Hinton.

Joe is survived by his wife Sharon Horton, whom he married August 7, 1964, two sons; Chris Horton and his wife Connie, of Little Flock, Kendal Horton, of Rogers, one daughter; Stefanie McReynolds and her husband Scott, of Fayetteville, one brother; Loren Horton, of Bokoshe, Oklahoma, mother-in-law; Glenna Hinton, of Poteau, Oklahoma, brother-in-law; Gary Hinton and wife Pam, of Panama, Oklahoma, four sisters-in-law; Melba Horton, of Bokoshe, Oklahoma, Sue Horton, of Panama, Oklahoma, Susie McGehee and husband Phil, of Poteau, Oklahoma, Cheryl Hughes and husband Barry, of Poteau, Oklahoma, and nine grandchildren; Cassi Kuzmich (Tyler), Jake Horton (Tori), Paige Horton, Turner Horton, Victor Horton, Emma Kate Horton, Keaton Horton, Logan McReynolds, and Caleb McReynolds, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be at the Church of Christ in Bokoshe, Oklahoma at 11am on Saturday, April 25th.

Honorary Pallbearers are Jake Horton, Turner Horton, Victor Horton, Logan McReynolds, Caleb McReynolds, Scott McReynolds, Scott Horton, Mike Walker, Charlie Burton, Randy Horton, Don Horton, Gary Hinton, Phil McGehee, Barry Hughes, and John Bell.

Memorials may be sent to: Circle of Life Hospice House or Northwest Arkansas Cancer Challenge.

Robert Dale Vandiver

Robert Dale Vandiver, 61, of Bentonville died Sunday, April 12th.

Survivors: daughter; Kim Lloyd, brothers; Jim, Don, Clarence, Alan Vandiver, sister; Carol Floyd, and former spouse; Marta Landrigan.

Visitation will be 5-7pm at Epting Funeral Home of Bentonville on Tuesday.

Interment will be at Elm Springs Cemetery.

Edna June Blair

Edna June Blair, 63, of West Fork died April 12, 2015 at Washington Regional Medical Center. She was born November 29, 1951 in Hope, Arkansas the daughter of John and Joy Brown.

June loved her family and grandchildren. She loved butterflies, ducks, soap operas. June enjoyed spending time at the casino and her clients.

She was preceded in death by her father.

June is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Daniel Blair of West Fork, her mother; Joy Brown, one son; Shawn Blair and his wife Misty of Tontitown, two daughters; Stephani Sullivan and her husband Jonathan of Alma, Wendi Kennedy of West Fork, one brother; Roy Brown and his wife Debbi of Texas, three sisters; Roseanne Ford and her husband Larry of Texas, Linda Hallmark of Texas, Judy Howard and her husband of Clem, thirteen grandchildren and numerous loving family members and friends.

A visitation will be at Epting Funeral Home of Bentonville on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 from 1p.m. to 3p.m.

Burial will be Thursday, April 16 at 2 p.m. at Baptist Ford Cemetery in Greenland.
