Johnny Aaron Walters
Johnny Aaron Walters, 46, of Winslow died at his home. He was born May 4, 1968 in Wichita, Kansas the son of Joyce and John Walters.
He is survived by his parents, two siblings, two children and other loving family and friends.
Danny William Brown
Danny William Brown, 54, of Bella Vista died November08, 2014 at Mercy Medical Center in Rogers. He was born January 12, 1960 in Electra, Texas.
Danny enjoyed reading the Bible, fishing, and watching WWE. He was a member of AA.
Danny is survived by his wife Erin Brown, of Bella Vista, two sons; Jeremy Brown of Wichita Falls, Texas, Jessie Brown of San Antonio, Texas, daughter; Tasha Brown of Wichita Falls, Texas, two step-sons; William Tradewell of Bella Vista, Dylan Tradewell of Bella Vista, seven grandchildren and many other family members and friends.
A memorial service will be at 10:00 am, November 15 at Bella Vista Community Church.
Chase Cameron Williams
Chase Cameron Williams, 60, of Bella Vista died Thursday, November 6, 2014 at a local skilled care center. He was born November 22, 1953 in Mount Clemens, Michigan the son of Miriam Pauline Merisuo and Frank E. Williams.
He worked in security at Tyson’s. He enjoyed running, along with running in numerous marathons. He also liked animals including dogs, cats, and birds. Over the years he had taken in many stray animals into his home.
Chase is survived by: his brother; Cary Williams of Harriman, Utah, and several friends.
Visitation will be Sunday from 4-5pm at Epting Funeral Home in Bentonville.
The family would like to give gratitude to Concordia Skilled Care Center in Bella Vista for the care they have given Chase over the past couple of years.
The family has requested no flowers, rather make a donation to your local Animal Shelter.
Eleanor Rogers
Eleanor Rogers, 97, of Rogers, Arkansas died Sunday, November 02, 2014 at Circle of Life Hospice House in Bentonville, Arkansas. She was born February 21, 1917 in Adair, Illinois the daughter of Nellie and Marshal Herndon
She enjoyed reading, gardening, RV travel, and time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 75 years John Rogers, her parents, and brother, Leon Herndon.
Eleanor is survived by: two daughters; Marilyn Martens and her husband Donald of Bentonville, Arkansas, Judith Tilley and her husband Don of Tremont, Illinois, five grandsons, seven great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren and many other loving family and friends.
Visitation will be Thursday at 10am and the service will follow at 11am at Swan Lake Memorial Gardens Chapel in Peoria, Illinois.
Memorials may be sent to: St. Jude’s or Circle of Life Hospice.
Sarah Anne Setzer
Sarah Anne Setzer, 66, of West Fork died Saturday, November 15, 2014 at her residence. She was born September 21, 1948 in Rhode Island. She moved to Florida as a young child and later in life moved to Northwest Arkansas.
She raised her family in Eureka Springs, where she managed a local optometry practice for many years. She also was a pivotal member of the Eureka Springs school board for over a decade.
She enjoyed life and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and her husband Tim.
Sarah is survived by: her husband Timothy Taggart, two sons, two daughters, one brother, two sisters, three grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
Harold E. Fitch
Memorial services will be held for The Reverend Harold E. Fitch, 93, on Friday, February 6, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at First United Methodist Church in Bella Vista.
He was the third son born in Wayne, NE, on July 25, 1921 to Don J. and Leona (Smith) Fitch and died peacefully at Highlands Healthcare in Bella Vista, AR on December 25, 2014.
He attended Wayne State College in Wayne, NE where he lettered in basketball and football and met Tibbie (Leila May Dewey) who became his wife on June 10, 1944 at the Naval Air Station Chapel in Memphis, TN. They enjoyed 66 years together before Tibbie died in 2012.
Harold served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and returned to Wayne State to graduate in 1946 with an industrial arts major. He had a variety of sales careers before entering the Methodist ministry in 1957 in Lakewood, CO. He graduated from Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary in Evanston, IL and was ordained in 1962. His ministry took him from Colorado to Mason City, Iowa and finally to South Dakota where he served United Methodist churches in Scotland, Flandreau, Egan, Sioux Falls (where he also served as chaplain at the SD State Penitentiary), Sturgis and Watertown before retiring to Bella Vista in 1987.
Harold and Tibbie were active members of First United Methodist Church of Bella Vista. For many years after retiring, they were involved in mission work for several months each year with an ecumenical group called SOWERS and with Habitat for Humanity. Until last spring, Harold volunteered three days a week at Helping Hands in Bentonville.
Harold touched many lives and was much loved by his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife Tibbie; two sons, Don D. Fitch and Hal E. Fitch; his parents and two brothers, Delmer D. and Ivan W. Fitch. He is survived by daughters Jean Justice (John), Bella Vista, and Kim Budd (Paul), Sugar Creek, MO; one son, Van H. Fitch, Virginia, MN; a sister, Bonnie Echols (Bill), Lynnwood, WA; sister-in-law, Betty (Don) Heitman, Coleridge, NE; brother-in-law, Harold Sizemore, Omaha, NE; daughters-in-law Sandra Fitch, Bella Vista, and Sue Weast, Hiawatha, KS; eleven grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
Harold’s family extends deep gratitude to the staff at Highlands Healthcare and Circle of Life Hospice for their loving care. Cremains will be interred at the Bella Vista Cemetery with Epting Funeral Home of Bella Vista is handling arrangements.
