Sean Campbell

Sean Blake Campbell, 47, of Camden, Arkansas died Sunday, April 7, 2013 at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock. He was born November 17, 1967 in California.

He is survived by many loving relatives.

No services are planned.

Vickie Turner

Vickie Jean Turner, 49, of Springdale, Arkansas died Sunday, April 7, 2013 at her home. She was born December 18, 1963 the daughter of Cora Jean Cherry.

Vickie is survived by one son, one daughter, two brothers, and two sisters.

We love you mommy with all our heart and soul.

Elma Jackson

Elma May (Gott) Jackson, 94, passed away peacefully in her sleep Wednesday, April 3, 2013, at Innisfree Nursing and Rehab in Rogers, Arkansas. Mrs. Jackson was born May 19, 1918, in Wood Township, Missouri, to Barney Marion and Orpha Lucinda (Wood) Gott, the fifth of seven children and the only child without a twin. She moved with the family to Mildred, Kansas, where she began her education, and by the age of 12 the family settled in Coffeyville, where she completed her high school education and two years at Coffeyville Community College.

On December 23, 1938 she married Chester Floyd Jackson in Coffeyville, and moved there in 1941. Over the years Mrs. Jackson worked many odd jobs including: a Finisher in a used pressing shop; sewing and alterations; and at JC Penny. For decades, she was an active member of First Baptist Church, Coffeyville. She enjoyed gardening, was an avid golfer, made quilts, and was an accomplished artist. At the time of her husband’s passing on May 7, 2002, they had been married for 63 years.

Mrs. Jackson is survived by one son, Gary Wayne (Clare) of Rogers, Arkansas; one daughter, Deanna Kohlbrecher of Smithville, Missouri; seven grandchildren, Greg (Laurel) Jackson of Rogers, Arkansas; Brian (Ruby) Jackson of Rogers, Arkansas; Aaron (Marnie) Jackson of Rogers, Arkansas; Kathleen Kohlbrecher of Kansas City, Missouri; Douglas Kohlbrecher of Jefferson City, Missouri; Amy (Liz) Balconi-Kohlbrecher of Silver Spring, Maryland; and Jean Kohlbrecher of Smithville, Missouri; seven great-grandchildren; her twin sisters Verble Vada Park of Parsons, Kansas and Versal Vada Sims, of Wichita, Kansas; and sister-in-law Nadine Gott of Lucedale, Mississippi.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her four brothers, twins Herschel Edwin (died at birth) and Cecil Edward (Margaret); and twins Marvin Ross (died at 3 mo.) and Melvin Lawrence.

In lieu of a funeral, a graveside service Saturday, April 6, 2013, at 3 p.m. was held at Restlawn Cemetery, Coffeyville, Kan.

Gail Sweatte

Gail Marie Sweatte, 57, of Bentonville, Arkansas died Monday, April 1, 2013 at her home. She was born September 2, 1955 in Gary, Indiana the daughter of Dorothy Schlueter and Richard Anderson.

She was a member of Fellowship Bible Church of Northwest Arkansas. She was an avid reader and enjoyed working crossword puzzles and Suduko. She enjoyed traveling all throughout the United States. She had lived in the Northwest Arkansas area for two years after moving from Shawnee, Kansas.

Gail is survived by her husband of 34 years, Ralph Sweatte, whom she married May 13, 1978 in Wheaton, Illinois; two sons, Michael Sweatte and his wife, Karen, of Kansas City, Missouri and Travis Sweatte of Albuquerque, New Mexico; five brothers, Keith Anderson of Lowell, Indiana, Paul Anderson and his wife, Gail, of Terre Haute, Indiana, Mark Anderson and his wife, Tammy, of Leroy, Indiana, John Anderson and his wife, Wendy, of Lowell, Indiana, and Gene Anderson and his wife, Shelly, of Taiwan; and sister-in-law, Lois Williams and her husband, Curtis, of Greenback, Tennessee.

Visitation will be Thursday, April 4 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Fellowship Bible Church of Northwest Arkansas in “The Chapel.”

Memorial service will be Friday, April 5 at 11:00 a.m. at Fellowship Bible Church of Northwest Arkansas in “The Chapel.”

Richard Heitz

Richard “Dick” Harlan Heitz, 80, of Rogers, Arkansas died Saturday, March 30, 2013 at his home. He was born February 22, 1933 in Paris, Illinois the son of Mildred Landrith and Harlan Heitz.

He was a member of Peace Lutheran Church of Rogers for many years. He had lived in the Northwest Arkansas area for over 35 years after moving from Louisiana. He served with the United States Air Force for over 25 years. He spent several years as a corporate pilot for Hudson Foods.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one infant sister.

Dick is survived by his wife of 59 years, Nancy Heitz, of the home, whom he married November 9, 1953; one son, Bruce Heitz and his wife, Teresa, of Rogers; three daughters, Karen Grattafiori and her husband, John, of Powder Springs, Georgia, Lisa Durham and her husband, Jim, of Kalamazoo, Michigan, and Karla Monson and her husband, Brian, of Hot Springs; and nine grandchildren.

Memorial service will Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Peace Lutheran Church in Rogers. Inurnment will be Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at 12:00 p.m. at Fayetteville National Cemetery.

The family has requested no flowers and memorials may be sent to Peace Lutheran Church to the “Food Bank.”

Mary Ann DeWitt

Mary Ann DeWitt, of Bentonville, Arkansas died Saturday, March 30, 2013 at Landmark Hospital in Joplin, Missouri. She was born August 28, 1929 in Walker, Iowa the daughter of Floyd W. and Deborah Fairchild Templeman.

She was a member of First Baptist Church of Bentonville for many years. She enjoyed spending quality time with her family especially her grandchildren. She had lived in the Northwest Arkansas area since 1989 after moving from Arlington Heights, Illinois. She enjoyed sewing, reading, and working jigsaw puzzles.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Ronald.

Mary Ann is survived by her husband, James “Jim” DeWitt, of the home, whom she married January 29 1955; two sons, James “Jim” DeWitt Jr. and his wife, Dee Ann, of Vista, California and Robert “Bob” DeWitt and his wife, Donna, of Littleton, Colorado; two brothers, Harold Templeman and his wife, Joyce, of West Des Moines, Iowa and Donald Templeman and his wife, Kaye, of Yuma, Arizona; two sisters, Margaret Differding and her husband, Paul, of Clinton, Indiana and Rae Elise Williams of Omaha, Nebraska; and three grandchildren, Erin Litchfield and her husband, Michael, of Peace River, Alberta, Canada and Jennifer and Emma DeWitt of Littleton, Colorado.

Visitation will be Wednesday, April 3, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. until service time at First Baptist Church Bentonville.

Funeral service will be Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Bentonville with Rev. David Brown and Rev. Phillip Smith officiating. Interment will be at noon at Fayetteville National Cemetery.

Memorials may be sent to First Baptist Church Bentonville to the Building Fund.

Sandra Jones

Sandra Jones, 65, of Rogers, Arkansas died Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at Mercy Medical Center in Rogers, Arkansas. She was born February 26, 1948 in Newport, Arkansas the daughter of Jessie Comstock and William Rodgers.

She was a teacher for many years in the Northwest Arkansas area. She spent many hours tutoring children in need. She enjoyed gardening and reading. She had lived in the Northwest Arkansas area for over 30 years after moving from East Arkansas.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Sandra is survived by her husband, Kenny Jones, of Rogers; her mother, Jessie Rodgers, of Michigan; one son, Chad Jones and his wife, Reagan, of Rogers; two daughters, Lisa King of Rogers and Kenna Reese and her husband, John, of Rogers; two brothers, Billy Rodgers of Ohio and Joey Rodgers of Michigan; and eight grandchildren, Zackariah, Jovi, Chanlar, Raya, Cole, Laine, Casey, and Wade.

Memorial service will be Friday, March 29 at 2:00 p.m. at Stockdale Moody Chapel in Rogers.

Memorials may be sent to the charity of donor’s choice for Muscular Dystrophy.
