Robert Allison
Robert S. Allison, 85, of Bella Vista, Arkansas died Sunday, March 11 at a local healthcare center. He was born May 2, 1926 in Draper, Virginia.
He was a veteran of World War II serving with the United States Air Force. He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Allison, and one daughter, Vicki Woods.
Robert is survived by his son, Craig Allison of Rogers; daughter, Tracy Altman and her husband, Jeff, of Oakland, California; and three grandchildren.
Shirley Fulmer
Shirley A. Fulmer of Centerton, Arkansas passed on to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on March 6, 2012. Born in Sugar Grove, Arkansas, she was the daughter of the late Richard Cecil Hise and wife, Sybil (Pettitt). She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister.
Shirley loved to quilt, sew, and do all sorts of crafts. She was a member of Calvary Temple Worship Center, Pentecostal Church of God. Shirley was a home maker and as a deacon's wife assisted and loved those inside and outside of the church. We love and will miss her sweet smile.
Survivors include her husband, Bobby D. Fulmer, of Centerton. Children include B.J. Fulmer and wife, Kandi, of Minden, NV. Also, Rev. David W. Fulmer and wife, Valerie, of Centerton, AR. Four grandchildren; Dustin, Dakota, Shane and Jonny Fulmer who gave us one great grandchild, Jayden.
Siblings are; brother Jim Hise & wife Sue; Sister Shelba (decd) & husband Allen; Sister Mildred Biren & husband Glen; Sister Kay Hendrix & husband Al, Sister Zepher Hise & partner Lynn and a host of friends and family across the world.
Stuart Cooper
Stuart Cooper of Fayetteville, Arkansas died Tuesday, March 6 at his home. He was born November 20, 1966 in Ponca City, Oklahoma to Bebe Jean Albin and Dale Edward Cooper.
He was a scuba diver and a carpenter. He was preceded in death by his father. He had lived in the Northwest Arkansas area for over two years after moving from Joplin, Missouri.
Stuart is survived by his mother, Bebe Jean Albin Cooper of Fayetteville; two brothers, Kevin L. Cooper of Fayetteville and Vic A. Cooper and his wife, Andrea Juhan, of Big Sur, California; one sister, Tamara J. Cooper of Fayetteville; one nephew, Brock A. Cooper; two uncles, Darrell Cooper and his wife, Dovie, of Sulfur, Oklahoma and Sean Albin of Houston, Texas; three aunts, Joy Fawcett of Ponca City, Oklahoma, Florene McConnell and her husband, Bob, of The Woodlands, Texas, and Betty Albin of Fayetteville.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
Rick Petree
Richard "Rick" Beck Petree of Bentonville, Arkansas passed away Thursday, March 1, 2012 at his home. He was surrounded by his wife Vicki and his two sons Josh and Lance and his family at his bedside.
He was the son of Richard Eger and Vera Beck Petree and was born on January 15, 1952 in Springfield, Mo. Rick grew up in the small community of Buffalo, Mo. He attended school there and graduated in 1970. He then attended and graduated from Southwest Missouri State College (MSU now) with a degree in Art and Chemistry and was a brother to the Phi Kappa Alpha fraternity. Rick married Vicki Lynn Garrett the love of his life on January 6, 1973 at Buffalo First Baptist Church in Buffalo, Mo.
On April 11, 1974, Rick and Vicki welcomed their first child into this world, Joshua Shane. Then, on January 10, 1979 a second son was welcomed into their life named Lance Garrett. These boys were Rick and Vicki's life and blessings and he was so proud of them.
Prior to relocating to Bentonville, Rick taught Art and Science a few years and then went to work for the Good Year Company. After working for Good Year, Rick went to work for Walmart in October of 1981 and worked in Clinton, Missouri. After working in Clinton for a few years, Rick and Vicki moved to Bentonville, Arkansas in August 1983 where he began work at the corporate office with Walmart. Rick and his family have lived in the Northwest Arkansas area since 1983 and he had been with Walmart over 30 years this past October.
Rick loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed time with his sons, daughter-in-law and his two grandsons. They spent time swimming, traveling, playing or watching sports together (especially the Razorbacks & Chiefs). Kyler and Kamden would tease and play with Papaw until they wore him out, but that didn't matter because he loved every minute he had with them. Rick also enjoyed time with his grandfurpuppies- Barley and Rolo. These two dogs gave Rick entertainment, laughs and always put a smile on his face.
Rick, Vicki, Lance, Josh, Deanna, Kyler and Kamden loved to travel and go to Destin, Florida where Rick loved to walk the beach and pickup shells and play with the little boys. Rick would also enjoy sitting under the beach umbrella reading several books during his stay and enjoyed the evenings looking for crabs with flashlights. Many times the family would also go to Branson, Mo for the weekend and shop, play and have a good time together several times a year. Those trips whether it was in the spring, summer, fall or winter gave everyone a strong sense of togetherness and joy. Rick loved and cherished his family with all his heart.
He is preceded in death by his father, Richard Petree, and his grandparents, Clint and Lillie Beck and Frank and Grace Petree.
Rick is survived by his wife, Vicki Petree, of the home whom he had been married to for 39 years this past January; two sons, Joshua Shane Petree and his wife, Deanna, of Fayetteville, Arkansas and Lance Garrett Petree of Rogers, Arkansas; two grandsons, Kyler Graham and Kamden Hayes, both of Fayetteville, Arkansas; his mother, Vera Petree, of Bella Vista, Arkansas; two sisters, Carolyn George and her husband, Chris, of Bella Vista, Arkansas and Jane Ellen Whillock and her husband, Rick, of Bois D'Arc, Missouri; two nieces, Shelley McMillon and her husband, Doug, and Nichole Bray and her husband, Greg, of Bentonville, Arkansas; one nephew, Chris Whillock of Springfield, Missouri; one aunt, Shirley Scroggs, of Neosho, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews and cousins who will all miss him greatly.
A Gathering of Friends will be Monday, March 5, 2012 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Bentonville, Arkansas.
A Celebration of Rick's life will be Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Bentonville, Arkansas with Pastor Phillip Smith officiating.
Inurnment will be at the Bentonville Cemetery.

Edward McShane
Edward John McShane, 96, of Bella Vista, Arkansas died Tuesday, February 28 at his home. He was born January 1, 1916 in Lincoln, Illinois the son of Lela Wendell and Hugh C. McShane.
He was a kind and gentle man, and also, a very giving person. He always cared for others before himself. He proudly served in the United States Air Force during World War II where he obtained an honorable discharge. He was Catholic.
He was self employed for many years. He started Yuka Valley Boys Club in California. He had lived in the Northwest Arkansas area since 2005 after moving from Ventura, California. He was a member of the Lions Club for many years.
He is survived by his wife, Marcia McShane, of Bella Vista and many other family members.
Memorials may be sent to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.
Virginia Ann Crihfield
Virginia Ann Crihfield, 57, of Bentonville, Arkansas died Monday, February 27 at Mercy Medical Center in Rogers, Arkansas. She was born May 21, 1954 to Doris Powell and Virgil Carter in Newport, Arkansas.
She enjoyed spending quality time with her family and grandchildren. She loved traveling and playing cards and dominos. She was employed for over 15 years with Wal-Mart serving in many areas including Sign Coordinator. Previously, she had worked for over 3 years with Joe Hewgley Tom’s Vending.
She was preceded in death by two nieces.
Ann is survived by her husband, Andy Crihfield, of the home whom she married June 26, 1998; her parents, Virgil and Doris Carter, of Lowell, Arkansas; four sons, Richard Howk and his wife, Amy, of Bentonville, Arkansas, Steven Howk and his wife, Colleen, of Camp LeJuene, North Carolina, Ronnie Crupper of Centerton, Arkansas, and Kevin Howk of Fayetteville, Arkansas; two step-sons, Andrew Crihfield and John Crihfield both of Arkansas; two step-daughters, Mindy Miller and her husband, Paul, of Pea Ridge, Arkansas and Samantha Crihfield of Fayetteville, Arkansas; two brothers, David Carter and his wife, Becky, of Lowell, Arkansas and Troy Carter and his wife, Paula, of Elm Springs, Arkansas; one sister, Peggy Young and her husband, Gary, of Rogers, Arkansas; and seven grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday, March 1 from 9:00 a.m. until service time at First Baptist Church of Lowell.
Funeral service will be Thursday, March 1 at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Lowell with Pastor Gary Thomas officiating. Interment will be private at Coffelt Cemetery in Vaughn.
