John Muir
John Joseph Muir, 69, retired United States Air Force Colonel, of Springdale, Arkansas died Monday, March 26, 2012 at Circle of Life Hospice House in Springdale, Arkansas. He was born September 26, 1942 in Detroit, Michigan the son of Frieda Katherine Muir and John Wreath Muir.
He enjoyed serving his Lord Jesus, spending time with his family, scuba diving, deep sea fishing, golfing, woodworking projects, and reading. John began his love for diving in 1980 and earned the title of dive master. He moved to the Northwest Arkansas area in February 2011 after moving from Hawaii. He was preceded in death by his parents.
John is survived by his wife, Candy Muir, of the home whom he married November 7, 1970; three daughters, Melinda Miner and her husband, Dan, of Hays, Kansas, Michelle Burnett and her husband, John, of Fayetteville, Arkansas, and Christina Muir Frye and her husband, Josh, of Fayetteville, Arkansas; three brothers, Charles Muir and his, wife Lisa, of Northville, Michigan, Roy A. Muir, and his wife, Kathy, of Canton, Michigan, and David Muir and his wife, Betsy, of West Bloomfield, Michigan; and seven grandchildren, Courtney Muir, Wilson Miner, Ansen Miner, Riley Frye, Jensen Miner, Davis Burnett, and Tyson Burnett.
Services will be announced by the family at a later time. Inurnment will follow at National Cemetery in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

Gregg Rife
Gregory “Gregg” Allen Rife, 35, of Rogers, Arkansas died Sunday, March 25, 2012 at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He was born on March 21, 1977 in Missouri Valley, Iowa the son of Tammie Hervey and Terry “TR” Rife.
He enjoyed Nascar and many outdoor activities. He had lived in the Northwest Arkansas area for over 12 years after moving from Modale, Iowa.
He is survived by his wife, Sandy Rife, of Rogers, Arkansas; his parents, Tammie Hervey and Terry “TR” Rife; three siblings, Jeffrey Rife and his wife, Jenny, of Omaha, Nebraska, Jamie Rife of Omaha, Nebraska, and Ethan Rife of Mondamin, Iowa; his fiancé, Tabitha Wolfe; and his beloved pets, Dozer and Tank.
A memorial service will be at Logan Memorial Chapel in Logan, Iowa.
Henry Iglesias
Henry Augistin Iglesias, 67, of Bella Vista, Arkansas died Sunday, March 25, 2012. He served the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era.
He was an electrician and mechanic.
He is survived by his son, Matthew Iglesias, and his wife, Sheryl, of Bella Vista, one brother, one sister, and four grandchildren.
Sue Ronald
Sue Ronald, 86, of Bella Vista, Arkansas died March 24, 2012 at Concordia Care Center. She was born in Ridgeway, Missouri on September 26, 1925 to Thomas Leo Taylor and Mildred Beeks Taylor.
Following her graduation from Ridgeway High School, she worked for the war department in Kansas City, Missouri. After the war, she attended Kansas University at Lawrence. While there, she met Douglas C. Ronald, a medical student in the U.S. Navy. They were married September 8, 1946 in Bethany, Missouri. Sue and her family lived in Butler, Missouri for 20 years before moving to Bella Vista in 1971. She loved many diverse activities including golf with her “Daffy Dozen” friends, walking the nature trail and dam, reading, bridge, and a variety of club and volunteer activities. She was a fifty-year member of the P.E.O. Sisterhood. Sue was a member of Highland Christian Church in Bella Vista.
Sue was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Doug, and her grandson, John Scheer. She is survived by her brother, James Taylor of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and her four children: Douglas C. Ronald, Jr., and wife Jane Ann of Cat Spring, Texas; Vicki Ronald of Bella Vista; Jennifer Schmehl and husband Oscar of Butler; and Jeffrey Ronald and wife Teresa of Lebanon, Missouri. Her grandchildren are Doug Ronald III, Jennifer Jane Vega, Jessica Park, Noah Ronald, and Katie Boyd. She was blessed with five great-grandchildren.
A family memorial service will be held at a later date. Gifts in memory of Sue Ronald may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
James "Jay" Haefner
James “Jay” Diamond Haefner, 82, of Bentonville, Arkansas, peacefully passed away surrounded by family and friends at Willard Walker Hospice Home on March 24, 2012. He was born January 30, 1930 in Albany, New York, the son of Mary Teresa Frances Diamond and Carl W. Haefner.
He had lived in the Northwest Arkansas area since 1973 after moving from Winfield, Illinois. He enjoyed woodworking, reading, and spending quality time with his family.
He proudly served his country in the United States Navy where he received an Honorable Discharge and graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelors of Science in Industrial Economics in 1960.
His time of employment included 30 years in the healthcare field. He was a member of the Exchange Club of Winfield, Illinois. He was employed as a purchasing agent at St. Mary’s Hospital, Rogers, from 1973-1976. Jay helped start the Northwest Arkansas Hospital Purchasing Group in 1974. He served as the President of the Arkansas Shared Purchase Association from 1979-1980 and was the President of the Arkansas Society for Hospital Purchasing and Materials Management of the Arkansas Hospital Association from 1975-1976. He retired from Washington Regional Medical Center after 17 years of employment as Director of Materials Management.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Jay is survived by his wife, Carolyn Haefner, of the home whom he married September 17, 1960; two sons, John Haefner and his wife, Jackie, of Bentonville, Arkansas and Jim Haefner and his wife, Julie, of Wildwood, Missouri; two daughters, Patti Cox and her husband, Craig, of Bentonville, Arkansas and Karen Warner and her husband, Mark, of Omaha, Nebraska; one brother, Don Haefner and his wife, Cynthia, of Ann Arbor, Michigan; and thirteen grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 26, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. A reading of the Rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m. Both will be held at St. Stephen Catholic Church in Bentonville.
A Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Stephen Catholic Church in Bentonville, Arkansas, with Msgr. Scott Marczuk officiating.

Minta Johnson
Minta Boblenz Johnson of Bella Vista, Arkansas died March 19, 2012 at a local nursing home. She was born August 31, 1913 in Ohio.
She was preceded in death by two husbands, siblings, and parents.
She is survived by son, daughters, three grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 24 at 2:00 p.m. at Bella Vista First United Methodist Church.
Leddie Watts
Leddie Joyce Watts of Springdale, Arkansas died Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at her home. She was born September 14, 1944.
She was surrounded by her loving family.
No local services are planned. Burial will be in Crescent Grove Cemetery in Tigard, Oregon.
