Norman Conklin
Norman Eugene Conklin died on Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at the age of 74, at his home.
Born August 19, 1937, in Lincoln, Nebraska, he was the son of Joseph and Ethel Conklin of Baldwin Park, California. He worked at Wal-Mart and had also been a truck driver for Tyson and Willis Shaw for many years. He served in the armed forces for 4 years. He married Nelma Darline Still Conklin on February 22, 1989.
He is survived by a brother Edward Joseph Conklin of Spark, Nevada, a sister Wynoma Schultz of Green Valley, Arizona, his wife Nelma Darline Still Conklin of Bentonville, Arkansas, a daughter Cynthia Conklin Dozier and her husband Randy of Gentry, two sons Loran Conklin and his wife Cheryl of Coventry, Rhode Island, and Patrick Conklin.
He is also survived by 6 grandsons, Randy Dozier, Jr. and his wife Melissa of Gentry, Arkansas, Ssgt Barry Dozier and his wife Wendy of Beale AFB, California, Jacob Conklin and granddaughter Emily Conklin of Coventry, RI, grandson’s Justin and Joshua Conklin of Siloam Springs, Arkansas and Michael Conklin of Maubelle, Arkansas.
Great-grandson Zachary Dozier and Great-granddaughter Haylee Dozier of Beal AFB, CA, and Great-grandson Jordan Dozier of Gentry, AR. Several nieces and nephews.
Private service will be held at the home in Bentonville, AR.
Betty Carter
Betty Carter of Fayetteville, Arkansas died Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at her home. She was born February 13, 1923 in Chicago, Illinois the daughter of Virginia and Henry Tiffany. She was a homemaker.
Betty is survived by one son, two daughters, and one sister.
Anna Wolfe
Anna Jean Wolfe, 65, of Rogers, Arkansas died Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at Willard Walker Hospice House in Fayetteville, Arkansas. She was born October 29, 1946 in Texas.
She is survived by her son, Osie; four daughters, Judy, Necia, Kristie, and Sarah; and many other loving relatives.
Peter Fusco
Peter S. Fusco, 89, of Bella Vista, Arkansas died Sunday, July 15, 2012 at Circle of Life Hospice House in Bentonville, Arkansas. He was born January 19, 1923 in Lincoln, Nebraska the son of Cosimina Camella and Sam Fusco.
He proudly served in the United States Army during World War II in the South Pacific and was honorably discharged. After his time with the Army, he served for over 30 years with the Nebraska National Guard.
He was a member of the Bella Vista Community Church for many years. He and his wife had lived in Bella Vista for over 32 years after moving from Nebraska. He was an avid golfer. He was preceded in death by his parents and the mother of his children, Donna Fusco.
Peter is survived by his wife, Depha Fusco, of the home; two sons, Terry Fusco and his wife, Marie, of Shelby, Nebraska and David Fusco and his wife, Sharon, of Lincoln, Nebraska; two daughters, Charlotte Boe of Lincoln, Nebraska and Barbara Hruby and her husband, Dan, of Sanford, North Carolina; two step-sons, Richard Luhr of Lincoln, Nebraska and David Luhr and his wife, Jody, of Lincoln, Nebraska; and 14 grandchildren.
A memorial service will be Friday, July 20, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Bella Vista Community Church in Bella Vista, Arkansas. Full military honors will be provided by the Bella Vista VFW. Inurnment will take place at a later date.
Alton Burnaman
Alton Earl Burnaman Jr. 53, of Bella Vista, Arkansas passed away suddenly at his home Saturday, July 14, 2012. He was born October 6, 1959 in Houston, Texas the son of Kay Beam and Alton E. Burnaman Sr.
He is survived by his mother, Kay Hutton, of Texas; two daughters, Shannon Burnaman and Taylor Burnaman, of Bella Vista, Arkansas; one brother, David, and his wife, Nancy; four nieces and nephews, Daniel, Natalie, Ryan, and Dilan; his aunt, Mavis LaNell Childers, of Houston, Texas; and his grandmother, Ester Burnaman.
Visitation will be Tuesday, July 17 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Epting Funeral Home in Bentonville. Burial will be in Humble, Texas at a later date at Rosewood Cemetery.
Memorials may be sent to the charity of your choice that benefits children.
He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.
Etta Pitts
Etta Fay Pitts, 76, of Fayetteville, Arkansas died Saturday, July 7, 2012 at Washington Regional Medical Center. She was born June 29, 1936 in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, three sisters, and several cousins.
She is survived by two sons, Dennie, and his wife, Rita and Greg and his wife, Sheri; daughters, Joyce, Marion and her husband, Rudy, and Lela; 13 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, one sister-in-law, Karen, and one brother-in-law, Lloyd.
Glen Bell
Glen Bell, 65, of Rogers, Arkansas died Wednesday, July 4, 2012 at his home. He was born June 2, 1947 in McArthur, California.
He is survived by many loving family members and friends.
Diane Deal
Diane Campbell Deal, 71, of Bentonville, Arkansas died Wednesday, July 4, 2012 at Circle of Life Hospice House in Bentonville.
She is survived by her son, Heath Deal, and his wife, Dawn, of Bentonville and three grandchildren.
Funeral service will be in Pennsylvania later next week.
